Hey everyone,

I’ve removed early access from updates that are crucial (broken from updates) because the negativity got to the point where people were calling me things like a “parasite,” and I want to be honest... that hurt. I’m not a multimillion-dollar company with a huge team. I’m just one person putting in time and energy to keep these mods alive and updated for the community.

Early access was only ever meant to support the work I do, and nothing has ever been permanently paywalled. But the way some people chose to act over something that was meant to be a middle ground was really disappointing.

From now on, crucial updates for pre-existing mods will be free right away. I just hope moving forward, people can remember there’s a real human behind this, doing their best.

DapperGoth

I'm so sorry that people are ungrateful for the work you do, if it helps lift the hurt I have seen people defending you myself included.

steph

i'm so sorry this community is so toxic. thank you for everything you do!

Moon

So sorry people are being so nasty and rude to you but then praise other cc creators for keeping their stuff paywalled bc it “takes alot of time and energy!” I hate how its not the same for smaller creators. You deserve to be paid for your craft!

Bunn

Don’t change if people are upset they don’t have to pay. Some people want everything for free geez it’s very annoying when you’re putting your time and effort into Something and people just take it for granted. Let them talk it’ll bring you more clientele!

JellyPaws

I also have free trials on the tiers that do get early access lol, which a lot of creators haven't even dabbled in. I just want the community happy but also want to keep things sustainable so I can keep updating and creating without burning out.

Levi Carthan

you do not have to let other people dictate what you have going on. they don’t have to put their money up and if they’re impatient that’s on them. don’t feel bad for doing what you have to do for the hard work you put out. some of us do appreciate it!!

Coco

I’m so sorry to hear that! People truly fail to understand that just because you love a mod & want to play your game with it in, doesn’t give you the right to belittle the creator behind it. This is exactly what leads to creators leaving the community

mercies

I’m so sorry you had to endure those terrible comments. And thank you for everything you do!! I pray in the future there is more support for your choices and this community can grow to become a more positive space ❤️

Charlie

So sorry people are being so rude and ungrateful, I appreciate your work so much and loved the free trial you gave. Please don’t let people bully you out of your hard work. Sending love 🖤

Caitlin

You're spending your valuable time and effort to make the game more exciting for people, nobody is forcing anyone to buy early access. Please dont let idiots make you feel uncomfortable for getting support for your hard work, and thank you for everything you do Jellypaws 💚

Twiggy

That's terrible. Most modders have a small early access period and I see nothing wrong with that as long as they release it a few weeks or a month after. I don't think you should feel bad for trying to make a little money off your talents. Your mods are awesome, and you do great work. To hell with these whiners

Kenya Johnson

Um no. Delete this, continue to do what you do. Other modders so the same thing and don't get that backlash. You don't permanently paywall anything. They can wait. I'm sorry people are rude.

CM TheOfficial Ent

I’m really sorry that you have to deal with weirdos who opt to treat you that way. You’re doing your best, and that’s all any of us can ever do. Please stay encouraged in knowing there are still plenty of people in your community who care about you and who see and appreciate what you do. <3

Dajhia Bilbrew

Don’t even stress it, the ones that matter see your hard work. Most of us really appreciate you, Keep doing you 👏🏽

Shay847

I didn’t mind your early access and you are not the only one that did that. I’m so sorry that people are so cruel.

Debra Holden

I'm so sorry people are being like that. You put so so much time and effort into your mods. We're very very lucky to have you in this community and I feel some people take that for granted. I hope you are okay. Sending love from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 xx

abi

What is peoples problem?! They still get access to the content just not straight away - if they don’t want to pay for content THEY DONT HAVE TO they just have to wait? I’m so sorry lovely, fingers crossed you don’t get any hate and can hopefully reimplement early access ❤️

May

That’s absolutely disgusting from people, to be so vile to someone over something as simple as early access is just not right. I’m so sorry that this has happened to you, you do not deserve any of it. You are COMPLETELY valid to have early access for updates, and shouldn’t have to change that. You’re giving your time and effort to put these mods out and people clearly don’t understand that you’re ONE person. I’m so sorry on behalf of the sims community.

JellyPaws
>>184881191

I do find it ironic how people who do 2-month early access and perm paywalls get less pushback, or the people who only post to curseforge. 😅 I mean I'm glad I have a community where people can have opinions and inputs but, I'm just trying over here!!! lol.

Kelza B

People can be so eurgh I mean there are creators who have a permanent paywall you always release to public after a couple of days or whatever I honestly don't see the problem. I think the people who troll you don't understand how much you actually do get from the money. I know it's not a lot because I looked into it (for a friend of mine) and it's pennies. Point being ... Ya definitely not a parasite 💕

Toya315 Wallace

Do EXACTLY what Kenya said!! ALL modders have Early Access! And now some are even doing a one time access of all content for $100+ & people are paying! Put that early access BACK UP!! You deserve to get paid for what you create!!✌🏽💝💝💝✌🏽

evie hamers

All the negativity from everyone was not necessary. I supported your decision. I’m sorry everyone was so mean.

Alyssa

i don’t ever comment on here, but this genuinely made me upset for you. this is YOUR content that you’re working hard to put out and people don’t have a right to it just because they want it. you abide by the rules by making your content available after a certain time. look at harrie and felixandre, their content is early access for months because they work hard! keep the early access! and don’t listen to anyone who feels entitled to your hard work. they can pay if they feel they need it immediately.

Molly Elliott

I’m so sorry. Do whatever you need to do to protect your peace. ❤️ You deserve better.

Phillip Dameron

I am so sorry that people have been so nasty, it’s well within your right to do early access, and you clearly aren’t perma paywalling like some creators do.

wallyworlldd

its your work you do AS YOU PLEASE! you dont have to do these things for people AT ALL. you dont. dont let these people intimidate you because they dont wanna pay or wait. it doesnt belong to them. they arent worth you losing sleep over, you do you! for every hater you got a better supporter! ❤️

Whiskeikitten

I have been a paid and free supporter of your work for many years. I have been here since before your name change and all. I can honestly say, they can fuck off. They only bullied you because all other modders either have their comments off when updating or they learned their lesson with attacking them last time. I am so sorry they took it out on you but truly fuck them. They dont matter. If they cant wait for it to be free, they can sub to you or play without it. Please don't ever let anybody take away your joy and happiness especially in your safe space. ❤️❤️ Always appreciative of your work, Whiskei.

Mya

um no. listen to kenya and put that early access right back up. dont let these people bully you into losing money, you deserve to make something off of your work

CAROL J FRITZGERALD

I saw your first message. You did the right thing. Creators don't typically put pre-existing mods on early access. Early access is meant for new mods. I've never seen a creator put updated mods on early access.

CAROL J FRITZGERALD
>>184881397

Early Access is generally for new mods. Not pre-existing ones. Yes, she deserves to get paid for what she does, but not for what's already been released to the public.

T'MKA

My apologies to people that dont understand that this isn't your full time job. Yiu do it because you love it and to share your talents with all of us Simmers for a fraction of a price is honorable. Thank you for your works and again sorry for that cause that is totally unacceptable.

Amanda Houde

We support you jelly paw dont let the bullies get to you

Itz_gen_gen

i don't have early access but i don't mind waiting for mods to become free. please do whatever you'd like, you're the creator after all!

JellyPaws
>>184881735

Thank you but I do have to respectfully disagree! Wickedwhims, basemental, slice of life, etc. have all been put behind early access (that lasts wayyy too long sadly) for their updates and additions. I'm not trying to stir anything, just something I see that is quite common in the modding community. <3

TraumfinderX

I am not a paying supporter but I do understand what you did. Poeple just all want free stuff and don't care about the person behind. I bet it would not kill anybody to wait a little while. Maybe it would help, if in the future you do update existing mods for free, but add extra features only for patreons. EDIT: I would also bann the people calling you names. They do not deserve your mods at all!

Sel Quiniñeza

Oh no... sweetie.. Dont let these people affect you. We appreciate the efforts you do and the time you spend making these mods and updates. You have a life outside these mods and sims. Your time is precious as much as your mods so I totally understand the payment for early access. These people hating on you shows their colors for a dollar like... they should touch some grass and leave sims for a moment.

notchristyyyy

Personally, I think you should put the early access back. It takes time for you to create your content. If you want to charge something for that, you should. Also other creators have early access😂 Like hello??? We all know you don’t put stuff behind permanent paywalls. Some simmers are becoming too entitled. You not greedy or any other nonsense they called you.

heidi (Team de luniversims.fr)

Everyone generally offers early access so that donors have a small advantage. Who can judge that? I'm sorry to hear that you feel offended. It's sad to read such a thing. You are brave, and you don't have to give up your early access. It's a reward for you and for those who take the trouble to support you.

Percy Vessier

Thank you for all the FREE WORK you do so that people can play a silly game you get zero profit from and didn’t take any part in making. I’m so sorry that people are treating you this way. It’s truly ridiculous. I know many people are struggling for money these days and I’m in the same boat. Having to wait for an update is not the end of the world and is a great compromise for getting to benefit from someone else’s hard work. I know you do this for the love of the game but you’re still a human being with only 24 hours in a day and bills to pay.

ItsyourgirlLee

I'm so sorry that you were treated that way, I don't mind early access, I don't mind waiting, I supor you jelly!

Invicta Sims

Por favor, não cai nessa não. Você tem todo o direito de colocar o acesso antecipado pois computador não é de graça e internet também não é de graça. Pensa numa coisa... ( Seu tempo e sua inteligência vale muito)

Grace Soelberg

I am so sorry people were doing that!!! 😢

Suzan Matthys

Putting updates to broken mods in early access does mean people can't use your mods when they update the game. So I get that it's an inconvenience. And it would definitely be if every creator did this. But in no way does this justify calling people names or bullying them. Sorry this happened to you.

Elizabeth Holmes

Im so sorry that people are treating you this way . You put in so much energy into your creations, never had them paywalled , and you are so kind to the community. Please do think that all of us think that way . I hope you know that you are amazing x

Anthony D Crowley

I'm so sorry you've gone through this, they don't speak for us. I'm sorry to say that people like that ignore the fact you're human on purpose, they lash out cruelty cause they're looking for a weakness to exploit to get their way. Don't give them one. Keep your early access, love. You're a saint in this community making wonderful content for our game FOR FREE. This is one of the ways that those of us who want to do more to support you can do so. Please don't let them bully you into removing it just because they're entitled. You have made my game way better for years and I would like the option to buy you a coffee sometime, since I'm somewhere across the world the early access is my only option to do so. Thanks for all your hard work 🫴🏻👑

cheryl loh

please never let these people affect you, i love your work and your mods, just because it inconveniences simmers who uses your mod it does not mean that you have it any easier when the game breaks literally everything. Please continue with early access and ignore what the haters have to say, i’m okay to wait and i’m willing to donate to keep you in doing this for us simmers

ShenivaMann

overall the cc/modding users have gotten way too entitled!! i’m someone who streams and the tone i get from some of these “viewers” with little to no support over the cc/mods that i use in my game has gone way too far out of hand! it has gone as far as some of them dm’ing me threats because i choose playing my game over answering the same “where do i get this” or “who is this by” questions every 5 seconds. point of the topic is if you’re not willing to support creators/content makers with the time they use out of their day to bring joy to the Sims community then stop asking and stop expecting. I support you because the entitlement is insane!! Keep doing you!!

Weebz

I’m so terribly sorry about what you’ve gone through over the early access. I say put it back! People are always going to find a way to try and tear down other people simply because they’re not getting things how they want and feel they are entitled to! It’s okay to want to support yourself, it’s a hard world out here. This just shows who your real supports are and who see you as a human just like the rest of us and not just someone who makes them things at their will for a silly little game we play.

Mathilde Loubes

So sorry to hear about the comments you've received. If you keep the early access, most of us won't mind ! The people who said otherwise in such a terrible manner are a small minority, even if they might seem the loudest sometimes !

Lilaclovebug

I'm so sorry you have to go though this jelly 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂

CaptainSwan OutlawQueen

You're the first infant cc creator I ever followed!!!🥹🥹 You don't deserve people treating you like that🤧

Kelliann Festa

That is awful! You're wonderful and so many of us are grateful that you share your talent and creativity.

Jerianne Berlin

I think its because a lot of cc/mod creators went back to perma locking their content behind a paywall so now when creators like you do early access and later release it to the public, they take their frustrations out on you as well. Thank you for always releasing your content and im sorry youre having to deal with that

Tyanna Mylajiah Rowe

I hate when this happens to you guys I think people forget y’all are human and have feelings , it wasn’t that long before it was going to be free for all. As someone who can’t financially support right now I completely understand that it’s not fair for us that is not paying to get early access to the mod when you made it clear it that it would be free next week. Don’t let entitled people get to you if they feels some type away they can make a mod for their game since they think it’s so easy! Thinks for all that you do you are truly appreciated by many.

Emma Knutas

No, thats not ok! Put your paywall up again! No one should expect work for free.

Haven Rhodd

Wow that’s insane and I’m SO sorry you had to experience such terrible people online. I think early access is a good idea, and I don’t mind waiting if I can’t afford to have it. It’s permanent paywalls that are the problem but I don’t see why a person shouldn’t get a little bit of money for all the time and creativity it takes to make amazing mods. I’m sorry again, thank you for all the wonderful work that you do! ❤️

Chandler Moon

We love you JP! Know that the majority of us are glad to have your content in game, temp paywall or not!! Those who are being rude and ungrateful can get their content elsewhere, keep using temp paywalls. You deserve the benefits that come from your hard work!

Angelsvrry

The problem is people who put mods on permanent paywall because even if I can understand wanting to get paid for your hard work it does go against EA’s rules but there’s nothing wrong with early access so you shouldn’t be backed into a corner by internet bullies like that

aimer

now this is downright absurd. people calling a CREATOR who goes out of their way and uses their TIME and ENERGY to make US content a PARASITE, and just saying anything NEGATIVE in general, just for allowing their followers to have a permanent early access role that is 100 bucks. this was—as any other payment here is—clearly a way to SUPPORT a creator who already allows us to access their content for free after a certain amount of time. if you cannot pay 100 dollars for early access, then that’s fine. its not a requirement, it is merely an option. if you can’t handle that, then clearly there is something wrong in your tiny peanut brain. it takes hours, even DAYS for a creator to make content and to fact check and verify if everything in their content is up to date with recent sims updates. the fact that some of you people can’t handle the fact that creators want some support is childish and downright stupid. sorry if i got anything wrong gang🫩🫩💔

Sam

Please don’t get discouraged by the haters. You are a great creator! The Sims community is lucky to have you! People whose biggest complaint is about a computer game/game assets should consider themselves blessed that that’s the biggest thing they have to worry about.

Tacki

Sorry someone was calling you those names! Although while I don’t see a problem with having paywalled early access I agree that an update made for a broken mod that already had early access and was released to the public shouldn’t be put behind it. I appreciate all creators and I believe they should earn what they deserve for their content but let’s be reasonable. Hopefully this doesn’t become a common trend in the modding community, because while early access for new content makes sense as a way to support creators, putting fixes for existing mods behind a paywall creates a different issue. People already had access to that mod, so updates after new game version feel less like a bonus and more like a necessity to keep it working. If those get locked away, it risks creating frustration and division, even if the intent was just to reward supporters. Supporting creators is important, but it works best when the model strengthens trust and keeps the community open rather than adding barriers.

Baroness Bat

I'm sorry to hear you were treated in such a manner. The attitude of some people is obscene. Please don't ever take it personally, it is a reflection on them not you.

Dazai_Ace

You didn’t deserve that….

dilutedchaos

To those who called Jelly a “parasite” You’re the one acting like a parasite by leeching away Jelly’s energy by being demanding and rude instead of understanding and patient

Lisa Lee

F them people and I mean that! You do great work and you don’t really have to but we appreciate and support you thank you!!!!

niyy

Hello no put that early access back up

Nessibo

Absolutely not! Please put early access back on. It’s actually disgusting how people treat content and mod creators. You have EVERY right to make your work early access with how much time you put into your mods. Please, do ever listen to these trolls. We appreciate you, and everything you do to add realism to our game.

harmony mcnealy

nah out it back up!!!! All the talent, love and care you have hey don't deserve it. If they want more let them make it themselves I hate cyber bullies and toxic assholes excuse my language I hope you are okay ❤️

Taylor

You create amazing stuff and work really hard. You deserve to get money back for that time. Don’t make anyone tell you different. You never put anything behind a permanent paywall. Having updates for mods be early access is not a big deal nor should it be.

Ki

This makes me so mad, you create such wonderful mods and people can’t just move along if they don’t like them. I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with this and I also say you should put it back up!

Aaralyn Phoenix

These are the same bullies who bullied Wicked Whims when he was on VACATION when that mod broke their game. All they had to do was put their game in offline mode and not update knowing that update was coming out 😒. I don’t understand the entitlement a lot of people have because they don’t have to play with mods, it’s THEIR choice to not play vanilla mode. I pay for a lot of my favorite modders because I want my mods early when an update/patch. If folks don’t like the early access option, go find the free modders. Patreon members want to support their CC creators and those creators aren’t violating the rules when they put their content behind a TEMPORARY paywall and give access to the public weeks later. Put that paywall back up if you need to JellyPaws 🥳!

Jagged

there are creators that don't release their stuff at all. Putting stuff behind paywalls for 3+ years. That's not you. Don't let people bully you. Everyone is not allowed to have a seat at your table.

Teall

Ignore the trolls girl ! You do some amazing work and if they can’t appreciate the time and effort you put into them by paying for early access then they can remove themselves and go somewhere else. Don’t let them bully you ! You have a talent and skill that not many have. You are appreciated and make the game more fun to play. *hugs* Keep your head up love !

Tacki
>>184888239

i think there is a difference between not having the time to update the mod and purposefully locking it behind a paywall?

FayeBeSimminYT

Personally, I have no problem with early access. You should put your early access back in place. The entitlement of some people to want free labor and goods. In my experience with your page, you do not abuse the early access system. Don't be bullied into removing a resource that helps you to create the work they want to enjoy

Alie

No ignore the hateful comments, delete them if you feel the need (or turn off comments like Turbo did). It’s your time and energy going into these mods and updating them for an already broken game. Feel free to message me if it’s overwhelming (and give me names 😈). Keep doing you babe, your content is awesome and others can tell the amount of work you put into creating and maintaining them. ❤️❤️❤️

Stefanie Wegener

If it's not fun, don't do it. Modding, I mean. Seriously, the community was very different when people just did what they loved, and what they actually wanted to do, instead of monetizing their hobbies.

Adrienne N Harvey

As a person who plays free, I do the waiting fr cause I just take it out my game and move on like it’s never that serious. You are a great person fr cause I’ve tried modding and realized yall are better than me in every way. Tell them if they can’t wait don’t play cause they can wait to update the game they can wait for your update.

milkfry

Put it back !! Those people who are harassing you are not deserving of your work !! If they can't be patient and understand that fixing mods can be just as difficult as making them, then they can go away. Delete their comments, block them, do whatever you have to do. You need a way to support yourself in life and if putting up a TEMPORARY. PAYWALL. is one way you can do it without selling your soul to the corporate industry, then please put the paywall back up. It's literally just a game and these people are chronically online and don't understand what kind of people are actually parasites, and you are not a parasite.

Kennedy Reese

So sorry that happened to you. Wish you nothing but peace love and healing !

Cornelia Z

I don't understand why would anyone call early access 'parasite'. What's wrong with these people? You can choose to support the modders or you can choose to wait for a while before getting the same content. No one is forcing you. Stop being big babies.

Denise Curtis

I am so sorry that some people are cruel. I appreciate all the modders out there...I personally couldn't do that job if you gave me a million dollars. So praise to you and all others that make our Sims lives more interesting ♥️

BabyMareBear

As someone who is against perma-paywalls, I don't see an issue with early access as long as it is within a reasonable time-frame (normally up to a month seems fairly reasonable). I've been following you for awhile and I've never seen an issue with your early access time frames. I love your work so much. I just hope you don't feel discouraged because of some people. There are people here who really love what you do! Sometimes the sims community can be really toxic unfortunately.

TheSSMable

I am sorry that you have experienced such horrible name calling. As a creative, I understand what it is to focus and work on projects. It takes time and energy to do so. We as simmers should be so thankful/ grateful! to the many out there who have taken time to work on something that, for us, is perhaps more of luxury if we have computers, time, and money to invest into an intricate game like the sims. You are not a parasite if you ask for a little support and also, still, provide it for free, just people have to wait. There are creators out there that are trying to make loads of money off a game they didn't make, capitalizing off ppl simply wanting to add some pizazz in their game. (That I can not abide by, because there are many other ways to make money off of 3D work and coding, don't drain a group of everyday gamers.) What you are doing is very generous and we appreciate all your hard work and hope you'll leave up early access, though I also understand if you do not to choose to. -Best

Shandra Beaver

I don't understand why some people have to be so mean. You work really hard to make the game more enjoyable for others to play. Please don't let the negativity of others take away your love or passion of mod making. There are tons of people that support and love your work. Thank you for all that you do and take care.

Sakimaki

I'm someone who agrees that a mod out of Early Access should have crucial updates released right away - but you made an extremely fair point that updates take just as much time and effort on your part, therefore that should've been the end of it. You made your position clear, acknowledged the feedback you were receiving, set a boundary and communicated. At that point anyone who disagreed should just remove the mod from their folder for the time being. I didn't comment on any of this before, but I did like a couple of comments on the release post that were politely expressing disagreement - I didn't see any comments that were rude, but I still feel extremely guilty for even liking those I did and I apologize if those amounted to the disrespect and hurt you felt. Never did I think people would get upset. I read your post, shrugged, said "fair" and removed your mods until I can enjoy them in a couple weeks. No big deal. But I apologize if any comment I hearted had a negative connotation and if any of that was hurtful to you. I didn't know people would be so entitled and rude and I apologize for my part on it. I'm glad there's so many nice comments on this one and I hope there's 4x the love for you here. Going forward, a suggestion would maybe to have Early Access for maybe just 1 week? Or even Ko-Fi support for one-time support? I'm not sure how Patreon works with that, I'm just a lurker and I even download from my e-mail inbox unless I don't understand something. But I'm so sorry for what happened, you didn't deserve any rude comments at all. Heck, after this, leave the EA (ha.) up until December after their behaviour. Sending love ♥️

Sakimaki
>>184913403

just working through my e-mails on updates and now i'm seeing you've posted a bunch more updates and clarified even more things and already had suggestions, sorry i was jut responding on the oldest email in my inbox T ^ T ignore me-

Dawn Kelley

I agree updates to mods broken by a patch shouldn't be re-paywalled if it went public, as it feels like pulling a public mod back behind a paywall. That being said, I think its perfectly fair to TAKE YOUR TIME, the name calling was unfair and unnecessary and I'm sorry you experienced that. Please be fair to yourself and feel free to not rush yourself just because a game update came out. I had to drop a lot of patreon support because they neutered my hours at work, but I don't feel entitled to anyone's mods (worse comes to worse I just have to remove them and play without them) and I certainly think waiting a tad longer for an update to a free mod is fair. I usually expect it might take up to two weeks to feel comfy playing with my full mod list again. And sometimes it takes even longer. Also, while I can't give any constant support right now, I am open to one time donations when I have it. Like a Ko-fi if you want to open up that option

Some Girl

I'm sorry that this happened to you, you definitely didn't deserve it. I agree with most people here that key updates to broken mods shouldn't be paywalled, but I don't mind waiting. Unfortunately, I can't support you financially, I can't support any modder (although in my opinion most of you deserve real payment), because I'm broke, so I realize that I have to wait until the modifications become public, and I appreciate that after some time they do become public. I'm sorry that there are people here who don't understand your hard work. Thank you for everything, take your time and take care of yourself! Sending love ❤️

christian garcia

i found your mods while searching for better gameplay, its completely understandable to do early access for some mods and updates. the community has sadly ruined this concept by making various cc and mods locked behind a paywall, so to have this be a huge extent is deeply devastating. i dont mind waiting 2 or 3 weeks, since it is a one person job to maintain. im sorry this is the type of feedback you've been receiving, we all appreciate your hard work and dedication.

Russian Succubus

Regardless of how someone is feeling about paywalls, you're a human being. The Sims community as a whole is so toxic, and I'm sorry you're going through that.

Laura

no hagas caso tu tienes que hacer tu trabajo y no prestar atención a la gente de mala fe

LiokinaPie

Many people are immature on the internet and fail to understand that some individuals need to make a living. Calling someone a parasite over giving early access to ESSENTIALLY FREE MODS THAT WILL BE RELEASED LATER ON to devoted fans and not getting mad at the company that overcharges for everything else is crazy, and I feel like people need to get their priorities straight before getting upset at a person just trying to get by.

Nicole puiia

Can’t comment on the new post but I’m glad you fixed this, or clarified it? Still not sure what original idea was but it’s unimportant now. Content updates that are ongoing and adding new features are always paywalled. All the big creators do it this way and there is no reason you can’t do it as well. It’s normal. Putting the crucial updates behind a paywall is not normal and I was definitely sad when I read that post because that was how I took it. Having to wait a month to play my save because removing the mods would also remove all of their data would suck and I’m glad that’s not going to happen. You keep your content updates early access regardless of if anyone complains. Point them to all of the top creators who do exactly the same thing. This practice is 100% acceptable and no one should be complaining about that. 💁🏼‍♀️

Nee

I really appreciate you and your mods. I don't know if you'll even see this, but you have no clue how much I love modders and cc creators in this game and how much I respect everything you guys do! Thank you!

i would just like to say, that as a free member i alway look forward to you mods and content, and i undertand how things work , and also respect this, thankyou for taking off the update part as i do think that if we have the mod we should be able to play, but i also understand that new and exta parts to mods should always be patreon first ! i dont understand why people are so mean and disrispectful , there is just no need for it, thankyou for all the hard work you put in to making these mods and content , i abosolutly love the plushies xx

I am so sorry that happened to you. There are so many of us here that do see and understand the human behind the mods. Also the fact that these are yours and you do not even have to share them. I do understand that if you had early access on a previous mod and then a patch broke it...the fix should of course not be paywalled BUT it is never that intense to make someone feel so sad. I always lead with kindness and grace and communication. I wish you peace and so much love! Keep being the lovely person you are!

Chasing Rainbows xd

u didnt deserve this. i apologize on behalf of those ass holes s

Lydia

I'm so sorry that people were being mean. You don't deserve that ever 💖

Persephone Chiara

Oh my God, I am so sorry people were being this cruel to you. You don't deserve this at all!!

kate

hi, i was just rec'd your MedievalLife mod and just as an FYI, it's broken!

Corinne Aarhus-Brooks

I'm so sorry for everything you've been going through. A lot of the sims community is toxic and entitled, but I promise we're not all like that! I appreciate you sharing what's been going on. All of us that love to support the modding community are always here and always appreciative of your hard work!

Noah

I think people calling you names are taking it a bit far, but putting updates behind an ea period when they were broken beyond repair and previously free does feel a bit money hungry. I’m not trying to take away from the work you put in, but the sims community is like the only community that has this issue. I think people shouldn’t have to pay for updates. All it does is give people a reason not to trust cc creators and to put negativity in their minds. Hate that people are being rude though

Retrollamas

no creator should deserve hate for not being fast enough etc when it comes to mod you're all just human beings with real lives who aren't always able to do things straight away and people need to realise that

Jelly ...Hugs.. i appreciate what you take the time to do and share . screw the ones that doesn't make sense common.

I'm so sorry. People who don't make their own content seem to forget that we simmers get free CC because of talented people like you. And honestly yall deserve more credit. EA has a whole team behind them and they can't give us the content we want but you CC creators are heaven sent. Keep at it and don't let anyone dim your shimmer <3

Im so sorry, thank you so much for everything you do and I appreciate who you are. I may not know you personally, but you are a great and clear connected community leader because of the content you create. The Sims is our imagination, our day dreams, and with the new update dynamic, a nightmare. I’m telling you I CANNOT play the sims without mods lol. Please continue being your awesome self with integrity and much love to give, thank you 😊

Katia

I'm sorry for the words that has caused you pain. There is never a valid reason for such disrespect. You are an excellent creator that takes time and effort to share with the rest of us gamers. Unfortunately, there will always be few people that because they might feel entitled to cc contents and mods they forget that behind the computer or any electronic screen there is a human being that has a professional and personal life outside of any games. At the end of the day a game is just a game. To those people that has nothing better to do with their time other than be disrespectful please just move on and don't let the door hit you on your way out. And Jellypaws please don't give to those people a penny of your thoughts and do as you wish and keep being you.
