this is so cool!! will there be aac? (augmentative and alternative communication - speech apps on a phone or tablet, editing them on tablet or computer, maybe communication cards or binders or boards (not sure if that's possible bc there aren't really any items / animations in the game i think to base them off of)

very fair! i was hoping cuz at least tablets (for kids) and drawing tablets (for adults) are in the game already and computer stuff but i have no clue about modding, and also you're the creator, so your call but like. even just a recolor or something else non-interactive as clutter would mean a lot to put in a sim's room, if that's all that's possible

Maybe there can be something with the alr in-game flashcards. They can be part of the speech therapy process where the Sim raises their skill by reviewing the cards? As a communication cards user it would be fun to see especially for semi nonverbal sims!

I'm just playing Sims 4 (heavily modded) and here you are making a new Weather mod and a Color change mod AND this here Fix It mod AND this Speach Therapy AND..... do you sleep? Because I would think these took a lot to make they are so cool!!
