Sorry not sorry for the clickbaity title, but this week I have some announcements to make: Next month we celebrate our 10 year anniversary. That's right, Tale of Painters is turning ten. Ten years of non-stop hobby blogging, we're quite chuffed at that.

We've planned a lot of cool stuff for October. There'll be a retrospective. The Army Painter will sponsor the anniversary with loads of prizes for us to give away. There'll be a little something for both Guardian Defender tier patrons and Aspect Warrior tier patrons. And last but not least, there'll be a relaunch of my YouTube channel AND my first ever video, and it will be EPIC! Stay tuned, of course, our fantastic patrons will be the first to know.

Whew. So what do we have for this week? Garfy got an excellent tutorial for painting the Wurrboy from the new Kill Rig set, and later this week I'll share my Kill Team combat gauges and how I painted them, while Garfy has a showcase for the Necron Warriors from Imperium.

And, in case you missed it, last week I added a new in-depth guide for Aspect Warrior level patrons, check it out here if you haven't already: https://www.patreon.com/posts/ultimate-matt-1-56510135 I review over 8 different matt varnish sprays, will keep this post updated whenever I try a new varnish. I also got a Patreon exclusive guide for all major hobby paint ranges here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/ultimate-hobby-0-49975258

Happy hobbying!
