Exes and Os (Part 3) - Heated Rivalry (Patreon)

so i /did/ write a part 3 where ilya and sasha had a one-on-one conversation at the bar together (shane and svetlana are at the table, talking animatedly about hockey) but I realised i kinda only wanted to draw the aftermath which was them as a whole group interacting. in any case, i thought I might as well include the script of the part 3 that never was, and you guys can imagine it.

SCRIPT:

Sasha: I see why you like him. He's very cute.

Ilya: Why are you here, Sasha?

S: You're engaged. I can't come over and congratulate you? Shake your hand?

Ilya sticks his hand out abruptly for Sasha to shake. Sasha stares at it and then back up at Ilya. His expression is ever so slightly hurt.

S: ...We used to be friends before we fucked you know.

I: I thought I wasn't fun anymore.

S: Yes, well. Maybe you're better suited for "boring" than "fun.

Sasha turns to look at Ilya, uncharacteristically sincere.

S: You look happy, Ilya. I'm glad.

Ilya is suddenly sheepish.

I: Thank you.

A pause.

I: ...How is Europe?

S: You wait until now to ask me that? Fucking asshole. (said fondly)
