I know this isnt really for the prompt and I feel whatever you're gonna do will be great but as a German, who has talked about this with other Germans who all agree, please for the love of God do not make König talk German in bed. I feel like a kiss is something they work up to, both bc I think it would take an adjustment period for all three of them mentally, and bc könig needs time to become less shy around soap even if they both are aware of each others feelings! könig doesn’t want to push, so he wouldn’t make the first move. Soap would HAVE TO if he wants anything from that boy. i feel like könig is hesitant with his physical affection unless he knows it’s wanted, so once soap gives the okay for physical touch he always has some part of him touching soap when they’re near eachother. Soap kisses his cheek over the mask until könig gets comfortable enough to take it off.

Kissing seems very intimate in the Soapböx dynamic (masks and all that they represent, even if König isn’t as attached to his as Ghost is), so I feel like it’s not something that happens right away And König, at least personally, feels like he’d stick to formalities. ‘Sir’ and/or ‘Lieutenant’ for Ghost, ‘Sargent’ for Soap. But it’d be cute if he did have his own special nickname for Soap like how Ghost has “Johnny”, I just can’t think of a suiting one at the moment

I could see it in two ways. Konig taking "grow a pair" to heart, and try to respectfully make a statement. Then stress about it after. Or Work them self up to it but keep backing off cause they are worried about reading the room wrong. And soap is kinda like "ffs just do it already" As for a nickname I have no idea

Soap/könig kiss is really drawn out before they actually lock lips, like soap keeps teasing that he’s going to kiss könig but he moves to kiss some other part of him and könig big ol romantic that he is is straining and getting so worked up he just grabs soap and holds him in place to kiss the ever loving shit out of him. Like the idea of ghost have some kind of mean-but-hot nickname for könig, like puppy (not like that but kind of like that), killer, etc. is it ooc that ghost use a pet name? Probably. If anything tho maybe you give könig a first name? I know I’ve seen this take before but könig/ghost tag teaming soap, multiple orgasms until he’s a shaking crying mess, I love that shit!!!! Alternatively, ghost directing könig in how to fuck soap giving him the reins for a spell, also a big fan. Last thing I’ll say, make that boy cry!!!!! Oh definitely something theyd work up to. So far König’s been slow to even make a move and seemed ready to back off entirely before Ghost explicitly brought up that he knew he liked Soap and told him to do something about it. Big guy ain’t rushing into shit, so establishing boundaries and consent levels would prooooobably be the first step with them. König would be the type that’s very aware of how big/strong he is, so in that or really any moderately intimate situation he’d hold himself back. At least at first. He has it in him to be more assertive outside combat/training situations, but he gets flustered pretty easily which is a security/self-confidence thing. Sidenote: The feral/red-eyes mode could absolutely get flipped, but more so after it’s 100% clear that it’d be wanted in the first place. So, to start, König would very much want to, but he’d let Soap take the lead on the kissing bit imho. I’m seeing good ol’ Johnny (either consciously or subconsciously) gauging kisses on the lips as being a bigger deal than anywhere else. Because, for real, how long did it take for Simon to even lift the bottom half of his mask when their relationship started? Spooky boy has a good pile of baggage when it comes to that thing so Soap may even assume it’d be a similar “journey” with König cuz he’s masked a lot of the time. König didn’t seem bothered when Ghost saw his face but the fact that he’s masked so often means there’s something to it and Soap’d be aware of that. On top of all that, it’s impossible that he hasn’t noticed how easily König gets flustered and even though it’d undoubtedly be fun to mess around just to get a reaction out of him (such as when he intentionally baited Ghost) I see him ALSO being careful he isn’t bullying/forcing König into something before he’s ready or moving faster than he’d be comfortable with. Being sure no one is (or thinks they could be) abusing their rank might be a thing to touch on, maybe. Honestly, throwing these two in with a guy who’s genuinely loving and not emotionally repressed, but also full of “i don’t want peace, i want problems” bratty/gremlin energy is such a fun goddamn dynamic. 🤣 As for what Ghost would call König, I don’t see much outside of his actual name and whether König IS his name or just his callsign would be entirely up to you. My reasoning is, these men already use codes and wear masks and shit in their day-to-day lives, using the callsign (or a consistent nickname/petname) entails a similar degree of separation from the actual person. Ghost is close to Soap, but he doesn’t just use his name he’s the only one who can/does call him Johnny. That’s a big thing and kinda similar to how Soap uses Simon when they’re alone. Using something like baby or sweetheart would work in the moment, but not as a replacement for how he’d refer to either of them imho König though? Bit formal and definitely slips into German. Sir, sergeant, lieutenant, Liebling (‘favorite’, but i believe the connotation is like ‘darling/sweetheart’ when it’s used for a person) and der Schatz (‘treasure’, but again i think the vibe is/can be something more serious when used in a committed relationship). I personally don’t see him using diminutive names like baby, the German animal ones or whatever else, but he absolutely lays on the praise/compliments, like beautiful, perfect etc. Soap’d be similar to König but a little more freeform. In addition to calling Ghost Simon or Si, just about anything’d be up for grabs, plus he’d absolutely use Gaelic. I haven’t looked into that language as much as I have German (Karl Heisenberg lives in my brain rent-free) so take this with a grain of salt, but supposedly Mo luaidh/leannan/chridhe/ghaol (my darling/sweetheart/heart/love) are commonly used in Scotland. This turned out way longer than i thought… whoops 😅

I feel like Konig is someone who gets flustered holding hands for the first time, but when he gets in the mood, he's a very greedy lover, and won't let up unless you pull his hair. I feel like Konig would use a name that denotes how he feels Soap fights, like Eichhörnchen (Squirrel) or something. He might just use that word because he knows no one else can pronounce it.

My personally headcannon is König does not have a personal nickname for Soap as he never found one that both he and Soap liked enough. However I think Soap has called König "Nessie," before when they first met which made König laugh.

2026-09-07 02:00 I imagine everything with König would be much softer and more gentle compared to Ghost. A cute nickname (for König) could just be King, the English definition of his name. “Horse” could also be a funny nickname because he’s tall and, well…who’s horse is that?

I think König would call him John or some pet name in German. I can see him being into calling his partner's sweet names, but he's too embarassed to actually say them in English (tho it's fine cause I think Soap would be very into it.) I think their first kiss would be something very sweet and gentle, probably initiated by Soap. Would Soap take König on dates? Idk but I think he'd definitely work his way up to a kiss on the lips, maybe starting with kisses on König's cheeks, with his mask still on, gradually working up to managing to get him comfortable enough to kiss him on his cheek with his mask lifted up. I think Soap wouldn't want to spook König, since the man is so anxious, maybe that would be a good chance for König to take initiative and show him how much he wants him (like Ghost said, grow a pair).

No, because I just ranted about German pet names on tumblr. I don't think König would have pet names other than their actual names for them. If he were to use any German pet name for them, it would be "Schatz/Schatzi" ("treasure") for both of them. (And even then he would never use it in public) Anything else would be too awkward for him. I'd imagine him sitting with Ghost and Soap and asking them, if it'd be possible for him to be able to call them "Johnny" and "Simon" at least in private. Perhaps offering them his name in return (I like to hc his name to be Joachim and König as being both his call name and last name). I also think that he'd be really nervous in the beginning, always having an eye on both of them, unsure on how far he's allowed to push and figuring out boudaries. So, in the end it'd be Soap who'd initiate their first kiss, but as soon as it happened König would have a hand on the back of Soaps head and wouldn't let either of them end the kiss until they run out of breath. Either that or he jumps on the opportunity to kiss Soap as soon as he's able to, because neither Ghost nor Soap have made it explicitly clear so far that their situation could be anything other than a one-time-thing. Figuring he'd make the most of it and enjoy it as long as he can, finding out what Soap likes and what noises he makes when he especially likes something. I mean he was ready to back off as soon as he figured out Ghost and Soap were a thing and his dialogue with either of them never sugested there'd be anything more on the table than a friends with benefits deal, at most. So maybe he'd be greedy with it drawing it out as much as he can, so that even Ghost would take pity on Soap and finish him off or something...

Pet names are definitely a weird thing for Germans. We don’t really use them a lot because most of them sound kind of weird. I mean a lot of German couples I know, myself included, have started to use english dirtytalk because it’s just not pretty in German. But I could see König use Schatz. Definitely not overuse it and only in private
