I just posted a few photos from the last look of the day with Darina on Instagram.

Those final minutes on the rocks at Punta Galera, when the sun had already disappeared and I decided to keep shooting with flash anyway. Darina standing there in that yellow bikini, arms in the air, the sea behind her… while the entire sunset crowd was already packing up and walking back up the path thinking the show was over.

Meanwhile I was still down there like a stubborn idiot with a camera refusing to accept that the light was gone.

But the main reason I wanted to post this here is actually something else.

Over the last few days I’ve seen quite a few new names joining here on Patreon. I see you guys. And I just want to say thank you.

Todos se fueron a casa. Nosotros seguimos disparando.

Acabo de publicar unas cuantas fotos del último look del día con Darina en Instagram.

Esos últimos minutos sobre las rocas de Punta Galera, cuando el sol ya había desaparecido y decidí seguir disparando con flash de todos modos. Darina de pie sobre una roca con ese bikini amarillo, los brazos en el aire, el mar detrás… mientras toda la gente que había venido a ver el atardecer ya estaba recogiendo y subiendo el camino pensando que el espectáculo había terminado.

Mientras tanto yo seguía ahí abajo, como un idiota bastante terco con una cámara, negándome a aceptar que la luz ya se había ido.

Pero en realidad quería publicar esto por otra razón.

En los últimos días he visto bastantes nombres nuevos uniéndose aquí en Patreon. Os veo. Y solo quería decir gracias.

De verdad.

Cada vez que alguien decide apoyar las fotos, las historias, los vídeos detrás de cámaras y todas estas aventuras un poco caóticas… significa mucho. Es lo que me permite seguir haciendo estos shoots, viajar para ellos y documentarlo todo con calma en lugar de hacerlo deprisa.
