I keep thinking about that moment at the end of this shoot.

Not the fact that she took off her bikini… but how normal it felt. No build-up. No shift in energy. Just a quiet “yeah, of course” and we kept going.

I think that’s what made it work. Nothing was forced. Nothing was pushed. The moment was already there, we just didn’t interrupt it.

I talked about this a bit more in the video I just posted. If you feel like watching it, click the link above.

And if you do watch it… leave a comment. Even if it’s just a “yeah, I see it” or a random emoji. Helps me more than you think.

Curious what you guys think of this one. 🤗

She Stepped Out of Her Bikini and Didn’t Think Twice

It started as a very simple idea. Maria and I finally decided to shoot together after months of talking about it. Same city, same timing issues… until she saw I was in Ibiza and basically said, “I’m coming this week. We have to shoot.” This photoshoot took place at Cala Corral in Ibiza, one of those hidden spots where everything feels slower, calmer, and a little more free. No wind. Extreme heat. The kind of stillness that changes how people move. We moved around the casetas, following the light instead of forcing anything. One look turned into another, and at some point the whole shoot just shifted. No big moment. No explanation. Just an idea, a quick “yeah, of course,” and suddenly we were shooting something completely different. What I didn’t expect was how calm it all felt. How natural things can become when nobody makes a thing out of them. This video is the full story behind that shoot. A sunset photoshoot in Ibiza, the creative process behind it, and what happens when you stop over-directing and just let the moment happen. Sometimes the best thing you can do as a photographer… is say nothing. Sometimes shoots don’t need more control. They need less. Arnold ✌🏼
