Sara Strawberry arrived late. I forgave her very quickly. You'll understand why. (Patreon)

Sara first messaged me before I even arrived in Ibiza.
She told me she was spending the whole summer on the island, that she liked my photos, and that she wanted to create something beautiful together.
A few weeks later, we were supposed to meet at Cala Comte at 6:15 in the morning.
Sara arrived almost half an hour late.
Normally, that would be a problem.
But this is Ibiza.
The sun was late too.
So when she finally stepped out of her car, apologizing, smiling, and already wearing a tiny blue bikini, the light was just starting to come over the rocks.
Which made it very difficult to stay annoyed.
We started with silhouettes against the sunrise. Then the bikini top came off for a few implied topless frames, nothing explicit, just that little feeling of freedom, with Sara facing the sun and holding the top in one hand.
After that, I gave her the tanning oil.
She may have used too much.
I am not complaining.
The full first gallery with Sara is now live.

No me quejo.

Sara first messaged me before I even arrived in Ibiza.
She told me she was spending the whole summer on the island, that she liked my photos, and that she thought we could create something beautiful together.
Not a bad way to start a conversation.
I sent her my info page, she read everything, filled in the little form on my website, and wrote that she wanted “an unforgettable memory of the island.”
Which, honestly, is exactly the kind of sentence that makes me want to grab my camera, set an alarm that is way too early, and go chase the sunrise somewhere on the rocks.
We talked a bit about the style first.
Nothing too glamorous.
Nothing too polished.
No heavy makeup.
Simple bikinis.
Maybe something vintage.
Maybe a cap.
Maybe something playful.
Sara liked that.
Then she started sending ideas too. A bicycle. A caravan. A foldable chair. A book. Something sexy but casual. Something that felt like she had just been caught enjoying the morning sun somewhere in Ibiza.
Very good ideas.
Very difficult to organize at 6 in the morning on an island where half the people are either working, sleeping, or still coming home from the night before.
So we kept it simple.
Cala Comte.
Sunrise.
Blue bikini.
Rocks.
Sea.
Sara.
That was enough.
The plan was to meet at 6:15 in the morning.
I arrived at 6:13, feeling very responsible and professional and probably a little too proud of myself for being awake.
Sara was not there.
At 6:26 she texted me:
“Lo siento, me he dormido.”
She had overslept.
Of course she had.
This is Ibiza. Sunrise plans in Ibiza are always about 40% photography and 60% blind faith.
At 6:41 she told me she was three minutes away.
So yes, technically, she was almost half an hour late.
But then something funny happened.
The sun was late too.
I had expected the light to appear much earlier, but from that exact spot at Cala Comte, the sun does not rise directly over the sea. It has to climb over the rocks first. So while I was standing there waiting, watching the sky slowly turn gold, I realized the good light had not even started yet.
And then Sara arrived.
Apologizing.
Smiling.
Already wearing the tiny blue bikini.
At that point I had two options.
I could pretend to be annoyed.
Or I could look at this gorgeous girl stepping out of her car in the first golden light of the morning and accept that Ibiza had somehow fixed the timing for us.
I chose option two.
Obviously.
We walked down to the rocks and started with the sun behind her. Those first frames were all silhouette, curves, messy curls, sea, and sunrise.
Sara has that kind of body that just works in silhouette. You do not need much. A turn of the hip. Arms above her head. Her hair catching a little bit of light. The blue of the bikini just barely showing through the shadow.
Simple.
Dangerously effective.
At one point I told her:
“You can keep it covered, of course. But if you want, you could hold the bikini top in your hand. From behind. Nothing visible. Just the feeling.”
She looked at me for a second.
Then at the sunrise.
Then back at me.
“Así?”
Yes, Sara.
Exactly así.
There is something I always love about that shot. It is not really about showing anything. It is about the feeling of it. The bikini top in her hand. Her body facing the sun. The sea below. That little moment of freedom where it looks like the island belongs to her for a few minutes.
And Sara understood it immediately.
No nipples. Nothing explicit. Just shape, light, and the kind of morning that makes you very happy you got out of bed.
After that, we turned around and put her in the light.
That changed everything.
I gave her my tanning oil spray and she absolutely covered herself in it.
Maybe too much.
But also… not too much.
Because when that golden morning light hit her skin, the whole look suddenly became ten times more dangerous.
Blue bikini.
Glossy skin.
Curly hair.
Cute smile.
That body.
Those rocks.
The sea completely calm behind her.
Sara was feeling it too.
While I was setting up my stabilizer to shoot some video, she put music on her phone and started dancing in front of my tripod camera. Not shy dancing either. She knew exactly what she was doing.
Hips moving.
Hair bouncing.
That little smile like she knew I was watching.
And yes, the bikini was doing heroic work.
I remember looking over from the stabilizer and thinking:
Okay. This girl is trouble.
The good kind.
Because some models need a lot of direction. Some need time to relax. Some need you to pull the confidence out of them little by little.
Sara just needed sunlight, oil, music, and about three minutes to remember she was hot.
After that, she was gone.
Hands in her hair.
Hip out.
Looking over her shoulder.
Standing on the rocks like she owned the whole cala.
Then turning around with that playful little smile, like she knew every single guy seeing these photos later would immediately understand why I forgave her for being late.
And yes.
I forgave her.
Very quickly.
This first set is exactly what I hoped this shoot would become when she first messaged me.
A little chaotic.
Very Ibiza.
Very natural.
Very sexy.
Not too polished.
Not too serious.
Just a beautiful girl in a tiny blue bikini, shining in the first light of the morning, having fun on the rocks while the rest of the island was still asleep.
Sara wanted an unforgettable memory of Ibiza.
I think we made a pretty good start.

Nada demasiado glamuroso.
Nada demasiado producido.
No mucho maquillaje.
Bikinis sencillos.
Sara no estaba.
A las 6:26 me escribió:
“Lo siento, me he dormido.”
No hace falta mucho.
Luego volvió a mirarme.
No demasiado pulida.
No demasiado seria.
