You didn’t mean to kill him.

One moment, a stranger was lunging at you on the road outside Riften. The next, a flash of strange magic sent him falling into the snow, dead before you could understand what happened. And before he died, he pressed a strange carved token into your hand. Whatever it is, it reacts to your touch… and you have no idea why.

When you returned home, you found a note waiting inside your house.

A black handprint pressed onto the page. Two words scrawled beneath it in ink.

We Know.

Terrified and unsure who left it behind, you ride north through the snow and take shelter in a lonely inn, hoping a locked door and a warm fire will be enough to keep you safe.

But some things follow, no matter how far you run.

Thank you all for being so dang patient with me on this! This took me much longer than I would have liked, but I hope you enjoy Episode 1 of this series as much as I enjoyed making it. I'm no writer, so please don't be too harsh, but I tried my best to make this make sense even if you have no knowledge on The Elder Scrolls universe.
