I recently posted this reel on instagram (same thing on TikTok) following the Sabrina Carpenter "Tears" trend, and I had a lot of fun drawing it 💕

Thought about sharing my process! For me it’s very helpful to use 3d references for poses and objects. As someone who studied classic painting and arts for 8+ years and has a bachelor degree in painting: using references is totally fine and you should always do it. Don’t fall for the "real artists should know how to do everything from imagination" rhetoric. It’s, pardon my french, bullshit. I plan to do a proper artist tips post on this :)
