The start and end images alone simply wouldn’t produce a natural transition. Eventually, I captured a frame from one of the better attempts, reworked it to fix the visual errors, and used it as an intermediate reference image. The scene could easily have been conveyed with a different shot, but for some reason, I really wanted to make this particular version work. I’m happy that I finally managed to get a result I was satisfied with. I’m sure everything I learned through this trial-and-error process will also help with future projects.

This video also includes a few scenes created experimentally with a local video model. I’m not sure whether anyone noticed.

I’ve been thinking for some time that, if I want to continue creating consistently over the long term, it would be better not to depend entirely on a single service for my whole production process. I’ve therefore been gradually expanding my local production setup, using additional training and adjustments to preserve the movement and overall feel of my previous videos as closely as possible. If those scenes didn’t feel noticeably out of place, I plan to gradually expand the use of my local setup in future projects.

However, I hope you’ll understand that I’m unable to share detailed information about my production environment, models, or settings.

For image generation, I’ll most likely continue using my current approach for the time being. The service I currently use is simply too strong in terms of both quality and generation speed. Changing this part of the process as well could significantly alter the overall visual style of my work and disrupt the production workflow.

Video generation can take a long time, but I can simply leave it running-even overnight. Image generation, on the other hand, requires me to keep checking and selecting the results.

Another idea I’ve been considering for a long time is gradually expanding beyond fan works and developing my own characters and fictional world. Having original characters would allow me to create stories more freely, experiment with dialogue, and build a more independent foundation for my creative work in the long term.

This doesn’t mean I’m going to change everything immediately. I’m simply preparing for the future one step at a time so that I can continue creating. I hope you enjoy this video as well.

開始画像と終了画像だけでは、どうしても自然な動きにつながりませんでした。そこで、何度も生成した動画の中から比較的うまくできていた瞬間をキャプチャし、その画像を作り直して破綻していた部分を修正したうえで、中間画像として使用しました。

実際には、別のカットでも十分に表現できる場面だったと思います。それでも今回は、なぜかどうしてもこの形で完成させたくなりました。最終的には納得できる結果にたどり着けて、本当にうれしいです。今回の試行錯誤も、きっと次の制作に役立つと思います。

また、今回の動画には、試験的にローカルの動画モデルを使用した場面も一部含まれています。気づいた方がいらっしゃるかどうかは分かりません。

長く安定して作品を作り続けるためには、制作環境のすべてを一つのサービスだけに依存しないほうがよいのではないかと、以前から考えていました。そのため、これまでの動画の動きや雰囲気をできるだけ維持できるよう、追加の学習や調整を重ねながら、少しずつローカル環境を使う範囲を広げています。今回の映像に大きな違和感がなければ、今後もローカル環境を活用する場面を徐々に増やしていくつもりです。

ただし、制作環境やモデル、細かな設定については、詳しく公開することが難しい点をご理解いただければと思います。

画像生成については、当面のあいだ現在の方法を維持する可能性が高いです。今使っているサービスは、完成度と生成速度の両面で非常に優れています。この部分まで一度に変更してしまうと、作品全体の絵柄や制作の流れが大きく変わってしまう可能性があるためです。

動画は生成に時間がかかっても、そのまま回しておくことができます。寝ているあいだに生成することもできます。一方、画像は結果を何度も確認しながら選ぶ必要があるため、その点でも事情が少し異なります。

もう一つ、以前から考えていたことがあります。今後は二次創作だけでなく、自分のオリジナルキャラクターや作品世界も少しずつ作っていきたいと思っています。自分のキャラクターを持てれば、これまで以上に自由な物語を展開したり、セリフを取り入れたりすることができます。また、長期的には、より独立した形で創作活動を続けていくための基盤にもなると思います。

すぐにすべてを変えるという意味ではありません。これからも作品を作り続けていくために必要な準備を、一つずつ進めているところです。今回の動画も楽しんでいただけたらうれしいです。
