i would love to see you react to a more recent performance of scent of you!! the growth is genuinely incredible to see, it was great back when they performed it when it first came out but it’s even better now and the difference is so noticeable. oh and for the final countdown i consider that as part of &audition more than &team- if you ever check that out than i would pair it with that for obvious reasons but i think you’re good to just skip it for now!

During buzz love when jo is in the Center and they all do the shoulder move is so fun at concerts they change it a little all the time and you can see how Jos confidence grows🥹 and yes on the right they always stage some weird things 😂

their live vocal performance does get better with time actually so it'll be interesting for you to watch their newer stages of older songs

Buzz Love live was kind of off keys, but considering it's one of the earliest stages, no wonder. Or may be the difficulty with the ear pieces? I love them because I literally can see how they improved over three years, and they all talented. I'm looking forward more to come. We need concert in the US 😀

I should really change my YouTube handle to match my handle everywhere else lol. Anyway, MORE TOO MANY WORDS 1:38 As you comment a minute later, yes, it's totally choreographed for the moving camera. The camera is basically ALSO a dancer in that choreo, which I love. The stage choreo is also fun but they can't be quite as interesting with it because they have to keep facing forward haha. 4:35 "Is this my favourite &TEAM dance practice? No. If it was any other group, would it be my favourite dance practice of said other group? Yes." THIS EXACTLY <33 Their choreo team is nonpareil and the team pulls off everything they're given with such expressive enthusiasm. Even when the choreo isn't super OTT, they give it so much that the performance feels a cut above no matter what. 6:10 "I'm someone who likes to rank things" Oh! In that case, go right ahead and do you, haha! I said what I said because I assumed (which I shouldn't have) that it was a reactor thing, that you felt like you Should for whatever reason. If it's just for your own brain by ALL means have at it! :D 8:05 "Put that tongue away, sir" Yeah that is not going to happen. His tongue makes so many guest appearances it might as well be the honourary tenth member. 10:20 "You'll never catch them doing a mid choreo" Spoiler alert: no you will not. 12:45 Oh you can actually see the set up for Fuma (and then EJ) falling out of the sky in this, totally forgot! AND in that live performance! 19:40 They ARE singing but the MR's still pretty heavy. Once you've gotten through the first year of their discography, though, I'm going to point you to the EN-WE-EK live band performance where they drop the choreo for the most part and just focus on vocals because NNNNNN. (They do it every year and those performances are sooooooooooo.) (Tangent re: my opinion on MR since I'll probably mention it a lot going forward too: I personally have always felt that idol performances should really have like three vague categories, with different standards for each? Vocal, dance, and mixed, basically. We do already have vocal-focused numbers, ballads where a group has little to no choreo and just sings, but we DON'T really see groups getting to drop singing for choreo. Only if they're doing a dance cover of someone else's song, generally. I'm fine with fairly heavy or even total MR if it's because they're going full out on the dancing, really showing off everything they can do without needing to save air or keep their airways straight. For mixed performances wherein the choreo and vocals are both undemanding enough that it's reasonable to pull off both together, I prefer a subtler supportive karaoke-style guide track. IMO the expectation that idols should still be vocally spectacular live while also doing increasingly crazy choreos is unrealistic, and I think it leads to subpar performances on BOTH fronts. END TANGENT sorry.) 21:55: If all the members are lit up in a line distribution video, it means they're all singing together for that line, even if one or two stick out more than the rest. 26:15 Ohh you might be right about dodging a copyright flag, yeah. 27:30 You really don't have to love every song, it's fine to say so when something's not your personal jam. <3 28:00 hfhds Buzz Love... they not only did their own girl group song and choreo, they dropped it on Valentine's Day. #power move (Tangent #2: One of the many things I love and respect about them is that they're STILL getting challenged with interesting songs from all kinds of genres, and they have so much range and commitment to growth that they just... keep pulling them off. That have yet to really miss, in my opinion.) 34:30 There we go, some proper live vocals. And like. That was still within their first year, they've only gotten better since. 37:15 They're giggling because that little move where Jo bows and hands his heart to the subject they're singing to is the killing part and he does it a little different every time. They laugh every time because it's adorable. <3 38:05 That high note in the back ground is K and I beliiiieeeve it's the highest note in any of their discog to date? I think?? It's Up There. Wild that he hits it live. 40:50 Yes, Final Countdown is the signal song from their audition show, and the MV includes the six candidates who didn't make it in. If you end up watching &AUDITION, watch that along with it, but otherwise fine to skip unless you're really interested. :) SO THIS WAS SUPER FUN thank you. I am having a great morning over here. there were a few breathy and off key moments, but honestly i was still totally wowed the whole performance! i can’t wait to watch their growth, and also yes we absolutely need a concert in the u.s. please dear GOD!

I think it makes more sense to check out stages at the time of release, especially if you're diving into them chronologically. It'll be cool for you to see their growth as artists! You can always go back and watch newer performances of older songs. Maybe in full concerts or festival stages, if you wanna react to them?
