YAYYY SAMIDARE! i have a slightly new plan for running though &teams discography as their remaining title tracks line up with their COMEBACK YASSSS! here's the current plan:3/17 samidare3/24 aorashi3/31 jyuugoya4/7 yukiakari4/14 aka 4/13 NEW MV + cherry blossom yell live clip from 3/144/21 comeback OMG ITS ON AN &TUESDAY WAIT..THEN! after comeback szn is over i still intend to go back through the b-sides, esp the promoted ones with mvs etc etc :D how does this new plan sound? i wanna be prepared for the comeback and realized i am BEHINDDDD so i think this should be a fun way to get all caught up! AND i was even told i'm doing the 4 season title tracks back to back which is kinda fun hehe! i uploaded my reaction of the mv/first impressions of the song to youtube but it'll go live tomorrow/in a few hours since i JUST uploaded my reaction to bts' comeback mv and youtube will punish me sad face.. ANYWAY! lemme know if ya have any reqs!OTHER NEWS: p1harmony movie reaction is coming soon but ill prob film it tomorrow (fri) night since that seems like a fun little vibe :D new p1h youtube video coming soon too, as well as a double new music friday moment.. lots to be excited about! also i was having weird storage issues yesterday which is partly why this was delayed, and partly because i thought i already uploaded this OOPS don't tell anyone i'm kinda embarassed SHHHHH.. also the patreon vote closes in an hour.. it's neck and neck between lykn and ten :0 go vote!

The choreo in the raining section was created by K! I don’t think the move is quite a crotch grab but it totally would be on brand for K so who knows 😭 Samidare is one of my two favorite &team songs! (I’ve never been able to choose between the two so I just say they tie) It just has this comforting but slightly melancholy feel to it, especially when you dive into the lyrics and connect it to their lore

Lower energy is fine, as long as you're still having fun. <3 Anyway time to cry about the choreography on this because it makes me even more emotional than the MV, somehow. - Every single time they do contemporary I have to lie down. They are so expressive as performers already, pairing them with that particular dance genre just amps it up to a degree that I can't handle. - You comment on loving all the solo/duo bits in the verses and then the togetherness of the choruses and YES THAT! They continually break out into singles, pairs, smaller groups, then run towards each other and seem about to clash, only to pull it around into perfect harmony at the last moment! Song theme!! Augh!!! - Yes, Maki pulls Jo to his feet as he falls forward. It requires a lot of trust because if Jo's grip slips, Maki's going down pretty hard (as is Jo). And the other pairs around them also standing up by leaning against each others' backs. Needing each other to get back up again in hard times. It's hard to spot, but when they're doing the rippling hands, EJ's kind of tapping Fuma's cheeks like raindrops/tears, and as he lets his hand fall Fuma catches it very gently in his and it SHATTERS me. (They don't do it in the live performance because they have to hold their mics, alas.) Very generally speaking, if you're hearing an ad-lib or harmony in the background on any of their songs, it's either Maki or Yuma. And if it's not one of them, it's K or Nico, theirs are just rarer. - 17:30 "That's mother" Correct. Harua doesn't call him "Mama" as often as he calls Fuma "Papa" but he does Do That and in fact did it in the first episode of Go ONE!!! lol ("Mama and Papa know me best"). "Honey" haunts me to this day.) - New plan sounds just fine to me, though I don't think you'll have time for Go In Blind (title track between the four seasons and Back to Life) that way. My suggestion: The autumn song, Jyuugoya, is a ballad that doesn't have choreo, and its MV is adorable (animated!) but doesn't require a ton of backtracking for background detail, so it may not take you as long as the others. It would be a bit of extra time and work, but it might be worth your while to tack it onto either Aoarashi (before it) or Yukiakari (after it) rather than give it a whole week to itself? /0.02c Also totally fine with you listening to the B-sides on your own time, though I would definitely love to see you react to the choreo for the ones that have some, if at all possible. No obligation though, obviously, ever. :P And there's your million words for this week. Thanks as always, hope you have an wonderful first day of spring. ♥ ETA: Forgot to answer the question! It's really difficult for me to rank &TEAM songs, but I would definitely put Samidare pretty high up, on the whole, because of how I emotionally react to it. I love the lyrics, I love the sound, I love the choreo, I love the MV, I love that it's about coming out of conflict with stronger bonds than before, I love how they express it all. Love. A+, many enthusiastic notes.
