Fun fact: One of the prisoners survived in the Manhwa. Sung Jin Woo took him into the boss room where he was brutally murdered by the goblins.

Idris Naama

As a Manhwa reader, I'm very satisfied with how they adapted this entire mini-arc. As usual, the fights are great, and the music is on point. I know some people will mention that there are a couple of things that they skipped out on, but most of it was not necessary or simply wasn't even in the Light Novel that this anime is based on. I know it's contradicting with what I said in the beginning, so sorry for the confusion there. These last few episodes, specifically episodes 11 & 12, will be a great experience where the story really starts to ramp up in hype and become more interesting.

NANI

Nick I've finally joined the patreon!!! I'M A COLOSSAL TITAN NOW! 🔥

James Campbell

it was a d rank boss so that would have have been over to quick anyway

Zest

Love it especially since I recently re-read it for like the 4th time recently

I dont really care that they didnt put that in. It isnt important.

bro that aint no fun fact they might show this next episode u probably spoiled some people now

MaestroTV

It's not a literal "Picnic" episode.

Normadus

damn I completely forgot about it. Pretty stupid choice to skip this when we've already seen worse shit in the first 2 episodes. Maybe they wanted to avoid a situation and drama where he would look like a simple murderer in front of a larger audience

Normadus

"How are yall feeling about Solo Leveling so far?" really good for now. I've read the manhwa, so it's hard for me to judge it fairly or say that these fights are amazing when I know what the future holds.

Why are you spoiling? Most of us, including Nick hasn't read the manhwa 😅 Smh, some people just can't control themselves

Wizard

Im just telling him not to let his guard down cuz this shit is to fucking cool

Normadus

great, so let's destroy this for everyone else, because your ADHD won't let you keep your mouth shut. Suspense went to shit because idiots like you have to yap their mouths about every best episode and scene. Its like watching movie and someone telling you "damn man, I cant wait for your reaction to what happens in 1:34:45 and 1:55:45"

Anuchek

I am so hyped for the next mini-arc omg

zanmato

Kang fighting reminds me of Sonic from one punch man for some reason

Mathieu Nogues

Next episode isn’t going to be so chill, at least don’t be fooled by the title. There’s a bit of fighting. We’re coming closer and closer to really hype parts were it will be mostly fighting episodes.

Toasted Toad

Why should he fight the A rank guy? As far as we know, he’s a good guy.

KP

If your gonna drop bleach then never bitch about sakura or any else you pussy they are so much worse

Mattheau Perry

The warm up dance thing that jinwoo did felt like an homage to goku doing that.

Shut the fuck up nobody gives a shit for what you have to say lame ass hater

Kira

I’m loving the Spider-Man references 😂🔥

Vailing Bow

Sure episode 8 was mostly anime canon, but it did that to better expand the world and made the series better as a whole. Also, Cha Hae In (blonde girl) is actually in her 20s. She's not a kid/7 XD And yes, that's Rin Itoshi from Blue Lock. He also voices Shigaraki Tomura (hand guy) from MHA and Tskushima Kei from Haikyuu.

It wouldn't have been a D rank. That was a C rank gate so the boss would either be a high C rank or a low B rank.

novak

that guy wasn't filler vilain. He was in manhwa, peak fight either way.

alejandro hernandez

This episode in the manhwa you see how one of the inmates actually survived so jinwoo grabbed him and tossed him to the goblins to get ripped apart while he killed the last boss. Can’t believe they skipped that.

Flaycont

A character will have an inner dialogue to literally show he has no ill intent and nick will be like "i don't trust this guy" lmao

Flaycont

He never said he's dropping bleach. Where are you pulling these things from, your ass?

Wild Wesley

Nah. I’m looking forward to a nice chill date episode with Joohee. To have a character who is turning into a killing machine be compelling, you need them to have an anchor towards humanity. Sure Jinwoo’s mother and sister could provide some of that (and might do further down the line), but at this point in the story they’re serving the purpose of feuling his disire to continue on this path of leveling up that has the consequence of him losing his human emotions. Having Mr. Sung, Joohee, and even Jinho serves as potential for good balance to Jinwoo, because they now all know his real strength, and see him in action more closely. They can see his murderous intent building and can notice the emotional changes faster. I hope their characters are also developed way more too and right now the best way to do both is have them build stronger relationships outside of battles in dungeons.

Jeremy Brooks

Bruh honestly haven't been so hyped for a anime in awhile

David Bennett

It was just a D rank boss wasn't even worth showing lol, Jinwoo would just 1 shot it at this point

정명

when you stare into the abyss, the abyss will stare back at you. Only webtoon readers know what this means

Devin Gonzalez

i figured out why you might not like it as much as i do. i’m watching on crunchyroll, and i noticed these subtitles are completely different from mine. these seem way worse than what i’ve been reading

Hank Tschida

Jinwoo has his own version of (Super Saiyan, Domain Expansion, & GenJutsu) 💀
