Maroki R6

It’s only UPHILL from here Nick. Even JJK took its time getting there.

David Bennett

The real show starts here! Everything up to this was just an introduction :D

Jason

Bro when can you upload Naruto to the Patreon, I couldn’t catch the stream and I’m dying to see the reaction to the new episodes

Ethan

Igris is just that guy, and especially the next episode. When reading the Manhwa THIS was when the story picked up and truly captivated me. I can promise that THIS is where the good shit truly picks up

Apple Pie

This episode is 🔥🔥🔥

Jerry Johnson

Aht aht we need more Naruto reactions 😭😭

Kevin

Naruto plz

Stalka

yeah you probably wont ever like the chars that much, theyre bland, however the fights will always be top tier. The next cour might even have better fights than this

David Bennett

As the story moves on the characters and guilds start playing a much bigger role, you'll see!

e10

All that action and yet the most hype part of this episode is the next episode title “Arise” being shown 🔥🔥🔥

e10

The thing about the side characters is that this show is mainly seen through Jinwoo, so once Jinwoo gets to the level where he’s interacting with these A and S rank hunters we’ll get to see and learn more about them.

Rameez Malik

The anime has yet to start ma boiiii!

Jayden
>>133165501

There was no stream due to flooding causing internet issues

dennis

Okiru

Kori

All my homies love Igris.

KG_805

Yeah tbh the show isn’t no where near peak yet but I still think you should keep watching bc of what comes after all of this

Normadus
>>133165405

yes, he chose to abandon Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece because their communities are a bunch of toxic crying babies.

stephanie johnson

Poor Nick. As soon as he starts criticizing the show Solo leveling just casually drops one of the best episodes released this year 😂

*OverlordWarlord the Omnilord *

Ayo did anyone else notice the statue of god smile when he accepted the job quest and the portal opened, I only now just caught that detail(had to slow it down to see it). They thought they were slick with it XD

Pazta

I totally get why u feel the lack of interest in most characters, obviously that will come in time, but yeah its super fun till we get really serious.

Sightless

Wow what an episode I wonder what the comments have to say? Surely half of them aren't asking Nick about a different series right? RIGHT?

Raphanguille

Seeing how much you enjoyed those impact frames, I can't wait for you to catch up one one piece because they got a lot of those on the latest episodes

Normadus

Nick, we all know the story is cliché and most of the characters are bland, but if there's one thing we can promise you, it's that the fights will get waay better with each arc. The real Solo Leveling will start from the next episode

Enzo Jesus Aguilera Aros

yes!!! finally this episode is here, i love the studio put a really good animation in this fight, i cant wait to se the others so hype, meanwhile i play the early access of Solo Leveling Arise and is really good

Toasted Toad

I know what you mean about the other characters. I like more of them than you do, it that’s because I’ve read more. And I don’t really feel deeply about any of them. The manwha is pretty laser focussed on Jinwoo, but that’s because he’s COOOOOOOLLL!!

Abhishek Vemula

this the the starting point of the story tbh

Cynical_POV

Omg haha, whew, he didnt realize

Cynical_POV

Nicholas il just say Solo leveling is a manwha where Junwoo keeps getting stronger and the fights he faces, the difficulty gets harder, so this is not peak if anything Junwoo is "weak"

Christian Giuliano

none of these characters were really introduced until after the job change quest. Before that point they were just known as celebrities or not introduced at all. They are probably doing this to try and add some depth to them for further in the story.

Miguel Francis

Yeah I can understand your criticisms of the characters they’re not one note there’s just not enough oomf to them

Leo Toivosson
>>133167142

Yeah agreed, they're not interesting yet because they've yet to even interact with Jin Woo. There's no connection yet.

kayla_san

Does anyone know if he did the Naruto stream today? I’ve been gone all day and wasn’t sure 😭

Kevin
>>133186405

i feel like he didn't? I was on the look out and didn't see it, unless i missed it

Bornai

Chapter 12, Rise up OMG is comming !!!!!!!!

L.C.

Arise ye tarnished. Ye maidenless. Claim the elden ring

Martin Fink

Arise is a very important word in this anime.

nikito1

the director of this episode is the same as the episode with itadori vs choso in Jjk!!

Josh

Nick! Yes, the same composer of AOT OSTs is the same for SL! 🔥 🔥

Zest

The story for the other characters starts to get better and is more involved, later when Jin-woo starts actually interacting with them and the world and what not

SergioJamal

Its been two weeks im starving for some naruto!

ilyas mateus

drop it and react to made in abyss

Animeter

Anybody knows? Did he reacted to Naruto yesterday? Btw great reaction as always :)

Giopix 222

No one cares about the characters yet and no one with a brain would ask you to care about them, in the future there will be other "characters" that are moar interesting. But really what matter is only the action and sung's coolness pretty much.

Vailing Bow

You really don't want to see the armor sets he has, lol. The Manhwa has its designs and they're all different so making them visible would just make Jinwoo look more tacky. I feel like if Nick read the manhwa he'd actually appreciate how they're showing off these characters especially Gunhee and Cha Hae In since they basically don't get any screen time without Jinwoo being there

Vailing Bow
>>133166186

I really liked season 1 more than season 2 in the Manhwa ngl. Imo the peak was the Jeju Island raid.

Vailing Bow
>>133166770

It's not that they're bland they're just not really expanded upon except Hae In but even then she was majorly sidelined.

II
>>133168766

‘Okiru’ means wake up, or arise. if you’ve read the manhwa you’d know what i’m talking about

Steve
>>133177046

There's a pinned chat (assuming by a mod) on Twitch for a Shippuden stream today episodes 24-28!

Steve
>>133186405

I think he intends to do one today, there's a chat pinned to his twitch chat (assuming from a mod) that says 3/24 shippuden stream 24-28

Anime Yandere

I didnt watch Q&A video so I dont know if someone asked this before but will u play solo leveling game when it comes out ?

Yashona

Basically, the "Arise" is equivalent to a signature power-up in other Anime where the show FINALLY starts Arising. The main super move Jinwoo is going to be using throughout the show. Ex. Rasengan, Gear 2, Super Saiyan, Black Asta, Nen Ability, Black Flash.

Cirqque

That reaction when the episode ended is so relatable......

Xan Acktor
>>133210055

Boy what a great way to go about making nick want to watch made in abyss, by telling him to drop a show he likes, dumbass.

Raijin6

Now all that's left is for episode 12 to arise and become the milestone for this anime. Glad to hear part 2 of season 1 will release this year.

fubiki

Yeah, Hiroyuki Sawano is in charge of the music here

Christian Clark

question for chat here, what's the difference between manga and manwha or whatever?

Miles
>>133304031

What you didn’t know is the reason Korea calls it manhwa is cause they have no g in their alphabet

Dawn of Lineart

who the hell said season 5 is bad??? it's for sure NOT bad, it's a good build up season with some amazing fights and moments...Nick, don't listen to the haters, just watch and create your own opinions, as you always have! <3

CallOfBobo

dude i feel your point about not caring about these characters and i am about to drop this show. good animation isn't everything imo and i might give this one another episode or two. but i just can't feel anything about this show besides the animation

Vivian Merveille

Just so u know if they keep the arc progression after this next arc he starts getting talked about so people become more involved in him and his story

TangoS7

At 12:40 what you're talking about is just like how the mahnwa was, but as the story goes on and Sung starts to interact with these characters it will be so much better and make so much more sense.

Jesus Lujan

nah you don't need to watch it twice to know they don't do story telling nor character development well in this anime, all about the action

Harman Singh

Show is all about action. Don't care about the characters except jin woo

Sarge Monclaire

Bit late to the party but what ur saying about the characters and being taken into conversations out of action is not something that was in the manwha that just straight focused on him bc he is the main focus of the whole show, the rest are just extras. Y'know, solo leveling lol.

Vic Walker

I'm a big fan of Solo Leveling way before the anime adaptation were announced. And I agree that this constant cuts in the middle of the action to other characters, that anime only people still don't know them properly to care, is the biggest downside of the adaptation. In the manhwa, you get to see the world only through Jinwoo, so you only meet those characters later on, and see Jinwoo interacting and forming different types of relationships with them, so you can finally care about who they are. In the anime, it's cool to see them animated this early, I love them, but I totally understand this can be really annoying to anime only people. It's 100% understandable. For now, Jinwoo is being low key about his growth, but once he comes out into the world, he will meet almost all of those characters, so you will get to know them better. Season 2 will be very interesting. But don't mistake me. The greatest action of the series will be at season 2. Meeting characters doesn't mean no action at all when talking about Solo Leveling LOL you are completely right that the action and Jinwoo beating ass is the main focus of the serie and what they do best. The storytelling is average, nothing crazy. Anyway, it's a fun serie!!

Mels

God I love Igris

Zyjen

can u just shut the fuck up a little bro.. even if you're not, to the viewers it looks like you're literally missing everything that's happening while babbling about random shit.

Slimreap 444
>>188098445

Ur deff a level 1 noob anime fan….when u watch enough anime u dont need to stay 100% focused on the screen to know what is happening💀
