It is Bakugou's bio dad. His quirk is actually a combo of his parents. His dad sweats acid (Probably nitric acid), and his mom makes glycerin. Combine those two and you get nitro glycerin (Bakugou's quirk)

At this point in the story, you're supposed to think he's lost his powers, but you seem doubtful of that because you think he's the villain in the movie, so just clearing it up

the story itself is FULL of parallelisms, the most notable and the ones that hit the hardest are those of izuku and shigaraki, both rejected by society in some way, one found light and the other... well... ANYWAAAY, I'm so glad you enjoy this show Nick, I've been waiting for you to add it to your schedule since you started anime content. It really has such an incredible and hopeful message that it totally changed me personally and became one of my comfort series. I can't wait for you to reach the end of this season, If you feel Bakugou has changed... just wait HAHAHA.

season 6 does not annihilate this season at all, yes its great, but has pacing issues (admittedly they probbaly go away when not watching weekly) but the major moments just dont hit as hard as they do in this season, or season 4 IMO 6 may be close to on par overall, but 3 has higher peaks.

Everyone thought Muscular was Bakugos dad when they saw him first. Everyone. But he isnt, the reason he mentioned bakugo was cause that was the villains taget for capture, and they succeeded. I dont think making him look so much like bakugo was a very smart decision cause it made everyone think that, but yes this episode disproves it, this guy is his real dad

Never played the actual game, but the lore in the anime seems really interesting. Basically, plague going around and the infected folks get treated like shit and, in some nations, get genocided. Thus leading to a massive terrorism group, but also another main protagonist group of people trying to find a cure, as hopeless as it is.

I don’t think he’s saying it’s “not worth trying to surpass.” All Might is so much stronger that Endeavor was always behind him, looking at his back. “What’s with that pitiful back?” is akin to him saying “where’s the strong and insurmountable All Might that I’ve been chasing?” It’s much more similar to the dub line than you first think, he’s acknowledging All Might in both.

Btw One for All is the name of All Might's power, so he was saying goodbye to his power at the end of the fight there. I know the names are easy to mix up for sure but hope this might help :)
