w nick for dropping so early in the day

As a perpetual Mineta hater, keep hating Mineta. It’s cathartic. Endeavor too! Fuck these creeps and abusers. Also happy to finally get to Bakugo’s true motivation

Kleed44

I can't tell if I hate Mineta more or love Tokoyami more - The Nest is the best fan base ever 🔥🔥 I wonder if Nick will let Hawks join later

V STAN

such an amazing episode 🔥🔥🔥

Leah Atkin

I can't remember exactly when the timing for the second film to come in is coming up, it focuses a lot on these 2 as well

SimpleSav

Holy shit. Best thing to wake up to at the beginning of a work week. Watch the 2nd film!!

James Perrott
>>136536610

2nd movie is not till after season 4. Technically its even later than that but after 4 is the best time to watch it

James Perrott
>>136536053

After season 4 is when he should watch it, its technically set even later so its wierd how early it released, but after 4 woul be the best time to watch

707

Day 707: of appreciating Nick, dude you are awesome and you understand your audience well.... your consistent with reactions (fuck delays who cares).... you have touched hearts, mate. Keep it up.

Des

I love deku and bakugo’s fight so much 😩

SimpleSav
>>136536610

You're right. I'm too anxious haha. Something hype to look forward to 🔥

GracefullyFlawed

I can't tell you how long I've been anticipating seeing you react to these episodes! One of the best character development moments in the series. It may fall off a bit at the end of Season 4 - but please bear with it. The show is absolutely insane and the story and development is so worth it.

Kats_91

🔥🔥🔥 reaction as always. Some of my favorite episodes come from season 3, 4, and 6. Being completely caught up with the manga, I can say it won't drop off. Season 5 might be a bit slower but it is an important set up season so if I were Nick, I'd just ignore what others say and just enjoy mha for what it is

Izumi

Man, watching ep 23 always makes me emotional af. Bakugou literally became my fav because of his growth, watching his character development and his relationship with Deku are like best part of the show for me

Kaleb Beaumont

This show does the opposite of fall off

Karystma

God we about to hit s4 soon LFGG

Josh Talkington

After this season, you can watch the second movie. It has a Peak Deku/Bakugo team up! PS- All Hail Mineta! Sticky Balls for Life!

Benjamin Schweichler

Ofc there are episodes you wanna just get through, cause.. after peak can only come lesser peak. But thats great, cause bc of that, we will get hit by emotions even harder again, once another peak episode arrives *cough* s4 *cough*

XI_A_Sourodip Roy

Next is My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising its crazy shit

lilac.

My comment might be too long, lol, but this episode made me change my point of view on Izuku and Bakugou completely, I think for most people, at first I saw their relationship as a bit strange and empty on Bakugou's part, but it is a matter of understanding, he felt that deku looked down on him because he recognized his human value before the physical or what his quirk represented. He was always used to being fawned over for his powers, for being a quirk prodigy, literally, but Deku noticed those qualities before anyone else, this gets deeper and deeper as the series progresses, but man, I love these two. the "the image of victory that I have is of you" line??? GET OUT OF HEREEEE, peak as always.

Sabrina

Yep this was a Bakugo problem from the start, if he didnt think so little of Deku from the begining he could have accepted Deku being "better" and more deserving than him. Deku number 1 hero 💜

Jeroen Preder

Now that you've heard it in the original Japanese, I really want to see a reaction to the dub version as well. Bakugo's Eng VA did just as good, if not, a better job bringing the characters' emotions to life. (Knowing the reaction will never happen since Nic doesn't like the eng dub version at all enough to watch it 😅😔)

Mismagius

I'm sorry, I'm confused. You like Bakugo because he figured out the secret of Midoriya? Bakuga is, has, and always will be a terrible person to others and has an extreme malice towards Midoriya, which up to this point has been completely irrational, and only now does he have a baseline reason to dislike him. I'm convinced you have been gaslit into liking him by his comments, lol?

Jenniee

I TOLD YOUUU

Shaide

This episode still hits when I first saw it and I had always like Bakugo this episode made him like him even more and is probably top 3 favorite characters of all time

Flow

their final conversation, I love how they now have a more productive rivalry rather than a toxic one. Even if I stopped after season 4, I'm regularly going back to watch this fight because its shows perfectly both a emotional battle and a technical one. That makes it so special for me.

xrmy

can't wait for you to get to season 6

Ghost Face

this fight won awards bro.. this is so peak i love this fight between them both

Apathina

This episode was what made me immediately love Bakugo. He's just an insecure boy at the end of the day and everyone around him always hyped him up so much he feared not living up to it. He thought he "killed" his hero.

KaitouKay1412
>>136545120

No bro he doesn’t hate Izuku for no reason. Even from the beginning he had reasons to act the way he did and he did explain it a bit (avoiding spoilers). It’s just that it’s explained more now. He never hated Izuku just for the sake of hating him and he’s had a lot of character development up until now. So it’s not just irrational random anger

RX Razz

Please react to hero's rising move shi is tuff 🙏

Maycol Senpai

The second movie it’s after season 4 right? 👀🔥🔥🔥

Anuchek

Thank you for uploading this so early!

Soiren

It's not toxic to not want to cry in front of other people, esp what are largely people you don't know. I'm a chick and I don't like it, it was often used against me when I was bullied. Better not to show that weakness to anyone but those closest to you. But you still express yourself. You're not stifling the emotions, just the action. There's nothing wrong with that.

spring deerling
>>136550613

I'm 26 and didn't find out I was autistic till 20. It's really easy for me to get overwhelmed with my emotions and my first reaction is to just cry. Especially if I'm angry. I would get bullied for crying at school and even at work by coworkers and supervisors! My own mom used to yell at me for crying so her yelling at me kinda ingrained that in me and made me feel extra ashamed when I cried

Tobi

bro just watch this episode when ur alone and bring ur feelings out

Mikasa_Axmn

About Hagakure, the Invisible Girl, she's actually one of the cutest, most beautiful girl in the class ! (she's THE most beautiful imo !)

Kleed44
>>136532213

I agree! Fuck Endeavor, and I'm really curious to see what Nick thinks after he learns his whole deal and backstory in season 6

Martin Fink

People say it cools off a bit at the end of season 4 but in my eyes it was needed because if I remember correctly it's the last cool down before stuff gets real. Season 5 has the huge lore drop followed by that arc and those moments and season 6 is...... insane.

Evan Thompson

If you call Muscular Bakugos dad one more time I stg lmao

Hasan

❤️

goblin.bones

I'm so glad you got to this episode, and that it hit so hard for you - as an up-to-date manga reader for mha, Bakugo (imo) has the most character development of anyone, and the most sincere. This ep really opens the floor for why he feels the way he does, why it can be damaging for a child to grow up thinking they alone are the best/"gifted", and is, over all, just the starting line for him. Can't wait for you to see where he goes from here, and the rest of the show so far!

XtremeChese

bro is not ready for season 4 💀💀💀

Vailing Bow

Ima watch this later, but I know this'll be a peak reaction.

Krayonz3

This is where the series really shifts. The tone from here on out is so much more serious and emotional. The character development really speeds up from here.

lvdvd

bro really thinks « merci » is an Italian word

Micheal Igreja

I don't think MHA falls off it just has slower pacing bc the villains are looming in the background and growing stronger as the heroes are too. Season 6 is just peak after all the training is done, just action.

Travis Hammonds

I cry everytime I see ep 23 of this season

Wesley Lambert

I’m so ready for season 4!!!! In my opinion it’s the best season in the anime. If not the best a very close second to 6!!

michael ESSS

First half of season 4 is sooooo fucking good I can’t wait

Wisdom Abrahamson

You should rewatch this episode in dub, it’s so much better

AcentGG

i feel like the dub of this episode was also amazing

Matthis
>>136544194

So why asking for it lmao the dub community need a "m" after the "u"

jood jindy

Man! believe me, every episode of this show is great, it doesn't have to always be actions, this show shows actions and emotions and the emotions with the OSTs, ahhh so good man, i wish i would have a brainwash to watch it again, seriously

Matthis
>>136564689

Just went for it on YTB, Deku ruin the moment with his voice, the acting voice of Bakugo is kinda good ngl but the voice don't suit him at all lol

Eduardo BEVI

LEMILIOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!! 1000000!!!!!!!!!!

Micheal Igreja
>>136545120

Oh no the bully got character development that made him better. You are hella demonizing him lol. He aint that bad, he's very emotionally intelligent and uses it to lighten people up if you paid attention lol.

Mismagius
>>136545120

Character development = Him abusing deku, and going to continue to be a dick to everyone around him, hes always been a dick and always will be. Him getting jealous of deku does not change that

Mismagius
>>136545120

If bakugo was ugly, nobody would’ve liked him until whatever happens later in the story *apparently*

Ivan Mijacika

mha was my favorite anime years ago but massively fell down in my list over time and the whole situation left me kinda confused. Rewatching it with nick has rlly reminded me why I loved it so much, completely forgot how incredible it is

Reira
>>136564689

Totally agree, the dub is awesome too, and even more emotional, made me cry every time T_T

Nadiaaa

I'm so glad Nick's enjoying MHA😭❤. Plus IT DOESNT FALL OFF AT ALL. WAIT FOR THE SEASON 4 FIGHT.(And all of season 6) it's sooo good.

Brandon Gomez

nick please dont stop doing the bakugo scream its hilarious

venza

As much as a enjoy other anime, Mha just holds a special place in my heart❤️

JapaneseBubble

I think you're going to like season 4 a lot, !!! PLEASE DONT WATCH THE 2ND MOVIE UNTIL YOU FINISH SEASON 4 !!! there will be major spoilers in movie 2 if you watch it prior to finishing season 4

James Campbell

episode 22 was better then the whole provisional license exam

LordTouchMe

Ah, the best part of season 3 is done. The next couple episodes are pretty good... THEN SEASON 4 BEGINS <3

Lil Dreday
>>136575753

Yea my exact thoughts from my experience with other people most people says it fell off because of part 1 of season 5 but even that wasn’t that bad and season 6 is amazing🔥

PanjaMysy

It does not fall off, believe me. I just finished season 6 last night and spent yhe last 4 episodes of the season SOBBING like a baby. It just keeps getting better and better.

Koba Puffs

there is so much character development in s4 for so many characters and more peak characters introduced I don’t know how people don’t like this upcoming season but I’m sure you will come to love it too, you will definitely start to love some characters a lot more

Syukor Kirito

If u think this was amazing wait till season 6

Mels

God I love episode 23 so much 😭😭 ❤ unlike you Nick, I was able to cry my eyes out haha (they got me again). Don't think about the show falling off at some point Nick, just enjoy it because at least it'll always keep having the same escence. Can't wait for season 4!! ❤❤

Good Morning Gamers

Season 4 is amazing and so is Season 6, Season 5 isn’t even bad it’s just really slow paced and kinda boring, idk why people say the show “fell off” when really it just had a mediocre season

Elfe Carter

Aoyama is french if you didn't notice😂😂

RayRayUA

you thought Bakugo's character development was amazing here? wait til s6! overall, this was a fantastic episode, and shows Bakugo's improvement as a person. he only gets better from here :) we knew you'd like him!

BasSini King

s4 is amazing and one of my fav season ,my fav best moments in mha is in that season and they introduce some great villain and character i cant wait

원 지

season 3 fav ep

freecostco

people give deku mad crap for crying even when its justified. i get why you wouldnt wanna cry on camera with people like that in your audience

Jesus Lujan

This right here is one if not my favorite fight, the beautiful choreography, the drama leading up to it, the show of power without going power ranger or dbz mode over the top, the mind games and top it off with the emotional side and that amazing voice acting. God when Bakugos voice cracked I got a knot in my throat.

Kindling Passion

Nick the Bakugo Lover 💥❤️ We love to see it 😊😁

Fake HSGO

IT'S A MEWTHREE AJSKDASJDKASJDKASKJD

g_dep

Bakugo and Midoriya are similar to All Might and Endevor.

Juuhjooh

Bakugo is HIM. As in Himmel

Mr Bubbles1127

I just love this fight and how they finally showed some good character development with Bakugo

Max Matelic

Don't worry about it falling off, season 4 is absolutely insane!

Chris Gama

"Why was it me that ended All Might?" God that kills me every single time. He had been shouldering the blame on himself. Imagine that, the top hero that you've admired your whole life, and you think YOU are the one that ended his career? And the way the VA said it was perfection, like he still has that angry Bakugo voice but it was almost a whisper, which is hard to do. I'm so glad you finally got to this episode! And lets not forget the animation though. Man do I love when there were some shots of them with a completely black background with Bakugo's explosion in his hand or Deku with the electricity around him. So beautiful, I can watch that on a loop!!

Dayne M.

Great reaction, Nic 😭😭🥰 This ep is also where I came to love Bakugo. S4 is also peak! You’ll finally meet my goodest boy! And this is the season where Kirishima will shine! Very exciting!!

Yuan Wen

This is prob the second peak MHA had since All Might vs All For One for me

EueClaire

NICK dont be afraid to cry on cam bro, it's real emotion you should let out, we all went through it watching it too!

Normadus

"YALL WERE RIGHT ABOUT BAKUGO. I LOVE HIM" Now we wait for Endevor ;D

Alex Jermy
>>136636941

more of a respect thing for endeavour i reckon cause he realised his mistakes

Ghost Face
>>136590660

who i'm excited for him to meet is sadly at the end of season 4, but i really hope nick sees the real him and loves his character instead of the unwanted hate 😭🙏

hin0kamikagura

season 4 is SO GOOD, probably my fav season, i can't WAIT

Gabi_K

I’m so exited about what’s next, next season it’s really good, I’m sure you’ll love Eri

CrAzZyKiLLA

This moment was very much a "this needs to happen" moment. 10/10

Kae Juneau
>>136616403

oh yea and don't forget his mom was also very openly blaming him for getting kidnapped, so I'm guessing a lot of his insecurities only got amplified by that

Wisutea

God, this fight is just so good, glad you got to feel the goosebumps

Nova EF

every episode is needed in the anime no matter how slow it feels. without them alot of other moments would not have as much meaning to them

Nick Strothers

These moments are what they are because of the slower eps that establish the characters and their motivations. It's all GAS from here.

Domenic2133

gonna have to watch that second movie soon, so good!

Kolt 45
>>136565636

Subs for mha 9/10 really good Dub for mha 1000000/10 Insanly good

Sickness

Camie got them dick sucking lips

Karin

MHA is that show with extreme highs and then a lot of ....slice of life. Looking back that slice of life and training eps are what makes us care and understand all these characters...but when you are 1st time watching it can feel like a bit of a drag for sure, coz Horikoshi really loves taking his time.

Wild Wesley
>>136532213

To each his own. I find Mineta unnecessary, annoying, and he has seriously predatory behaviors that I don’t vibe with. If that’s your thing, fine. If you’re able to forgive Endevor for being an abuser “because he has a sad backstory,” good for you. If you’re commenting just to troll and rile people up, then more power to you.

Project Pachia

I will always love the english dub version of their fight where deku says "Almight was my hero but you were the one in my life". Talk crap about eng dub all u want but the eng dub is very good too.

ryejett

Don't worry, Nick. I cried enough for the both of us!!😂 Damn, these episodes always Always get me. Seeing Bakugo finally open up a little bit, seeing these to boys finally connect and All Might showing up is just the cherry on the cake. God, I love it so much - and yet there's so much more amazing stuff to go!! Bakubro ain't done growing, this is just his starting line and he has miles and miles to go and I'm so excited for you to see his and Deku's friendship develop! 🥰

ryejett
>>136901452

😁I had to go and watch it again before heading off to the next video. I'll never stop loving how smart you are yo, you're so emotionally intelligent and empathetic. Makes the reactions 100% better every damn time!

Jenniee
>>136636941

Endeavor is still the worst idk why y'all pretend he's this good character to love

Shin
>>136636941

My personal favorite character. Imho best character development in the series, on par with Bakugo and his son + he's seriously badass.

Kaan

Tenya talks a lot about his brother but at least he does something instead of staying put so it doesn't bother me personally

Long Xue

This is literally whenever men fight and become brothers after it

Lalit Kumar

he is not a stupid hothead

Cosmic Mumen Rider

bet youre glad you didnt listen to the haters now huh xD

Seth

for reactions like this is why i subbed to you, its just so genuine and real, you can tell when ur actually enjoying a scene/show. gotta say tho there are times when the reactions seem a little fake/over enthusiastic (usually for long animes like naruto or one piece) but i get that you have to be like that sometimes for the audience who may really enjoy the specific scene/show. But when you have a genuine reaction like this episode, we can tell how much ur enjoying it.

John Fischer

Liebes va is fuckin elite in this show. Him and dekus voice ls breaking while theyre screaming is so goddamn good. Theyre supposed to be teenagers and it just makes it feel so believable. Hearing izawa after just binging black clover in like 5 days, all i hear is captain yami now lol...and i couldnt be happier.
