The villains taking overhauls arms was a crazy moment for me. I couldn't believe they did that. It's so badass and while he does deserve punishment. I do feel bad for the guy who saved him as a kid. Overhaul put him in a coma and was the only one who could fix him

To explain, Overhaul lost his arms in that scene so he lost his quirk ( touch activated quirk ). He was wailing and shit because he cant bring his grandfather back to perfect health ( the one who he used his quirk on to turn him into a comatose state. )

I'm glad you finally noticed Bakugo's birthday is 4/20. But what you didn't notice is Todoroki's Birthday is 1/11. IDK if it was some sick twist of fate or Endeavor just got lucky, but how fucked up is it that Shoto, the kid Endeavor raised solely to surpass All Might and be the Number 1, only has the number "one" in his birthday.

You completely missed it but Shigaraki cut off Overhaul's arms so now he can't use his quirk and without being able to use his quirk he can't fix his dad practically meaning he killed his dad. That's why he screamed at the end

RIP Sir Nighteye that episode always makes me bawl … and I so enjoy that you enjoy these episodes. A bit redundant but the next half of the season will seem slow but just have fun. Also along with everyone they actually have dedicated episodes (I think an arc in s5) where the villains are fleshed out and you find out their backstory. Also can’t wait for u to catch up and witness the bombshell they just dropped (I read it in the manga but I was still shocked lol). Can’t wait for the next coupe of episode this week. W

In hindsight, I could only get through maybe 1/3 of season 5 before I dropped MHA because season 4 is so good, but I can't wait to see it through with your reaction! Also catching up in season 5 and waiting week to week probably didn't help much haha. Hope you love it and can't wait to see you get there.

I think he doesnt get why deku is not injured Like eri reversed his state to even before he was injured. Thats why he could use 100% He was always reversed so it didnt matter that he broke his bones

They did not make him quirkless with the bullet, Overhaul needs his hands to activate his quirk and they took both his arms off. They stole the bullets to take for themselves.

This arc was the "main arc" of this season but dont think the rest of the season isnt amazing, after this super short meh arc with todoroki and bakugo, its amazing unti the end, for various different reasons.

I would say it's tied with Greed Island. Couldn't wait for it to be over. Maybe because the humor and the jokes aren't that great in MHA. Couldn't find it entertaining

u reach the 5 worst episodes now of hole my hero but afetr that it get back to peak and keep getting better again :D .. i finish manga till now and can tell you it wont fall of again just slightly for onather 4-5 epsiodes later in s5

The NIghteye death is one of my favorites, simply coz how well it was made. In my experience Naruto and MHA are the expert of making emotional deaths of side characters, the authors are somehow able to make a death matter evne if it aint in the main cast. Howeverrrr... the next few episodes are gonna be very chill, so be ready to be fed some random storylines of the kids... I personally aint a big fan of these, but I know a few people who enjoy them a lot..so I guess fair..tho I do wish the upcoming arc was a bit shorter.

Maybe u didn't notice... but Overhaul is traumatized because without his quirk, he can't put back to normal the guy who cares about him... The one in a coma... He lose the chance to say sorry to him (my english is not too good, sorry xD)

Magne’s death (and that one random Hasaiki member) at the beginning of this arc was the foreshadowing to this episode. Her death was the tone shift to let us know, hey, people can die now… there are stakes now.

I am one of the people that do enjoy this arc, but yeah I agree that the pacing is all off. It’s drawn out a bit too much in both the anime and the manga. Usually when i rewatch it I just skip around to my favorite parts. ETA: the pacing is a bit off in a lot of ways after this arc. It feels like the story is rushing to get to the end in some places where it feels like things happen out of nowhere for shock value and then we get small explanatory flashbacks, instead of building up to things and seeing the process like we did in the first half of the story. I still like the story, i just wish we got more of it

You should watch the ending sequence and see the scenes that you missed when reacting to the songs. There is a clip for Mirio that will gives you more insight on his feelings. The previous ED sequence had the story of Eri as well.

RIP Sir Nighteye 🥺 he was a first class hero. The next few arcs are going to be a bit more slow paced btw, Nick! This one you're going into is a mini arc, then we'll transition into two others that are a lot slower paced but, they're like breadcrumb trails to the later plot, so don't feel discouraged if they seem to drag on a little! I still think you'll really like them, you seem to really be enjoying this show and I'm always glad for that 🥰💖
