Also, Pain's way of creating peace is called "MAD" also known as Massive Assured Destruction.. And it's the same system we have in the real world with Atom bombs that prevent major wars.. For a time. Pain believes that human beings can't understand each other and that's why he thinks his way is the only way.. He would also prove that humans can't truly understand each other if naruto wants to kill pain because of vengeance. Truly one of the best villians ever. Pain resembles the smaller nation outside of the leaf.. I would recommend a video called "The leaf deserved worse" because they really fucked up many things. Pain is the voice of the smaller nations with a different perspective in this conflict. Very interesting stuff.

Pain has one of the best speeches in anime history, so legendary. Makes you feel sorry for him and you look at things through his perspective and it applies to the real world too. Even as Naruto's enemy he's willing to have a conversation & wanting to know how Naruto would make peace.

its not always about the VA's, most of the time the translations are wonkey beacuse it's the 3rd time being translated and fit into the dialogue, there are great English VA's the dialogue just falls short sometimes

It was the "it's just like all the other speeches part in the start " which was a part of his bias towards pain. The Vengence in the name of Justice line truly makes this speech unique and incredible. I feel like he started to understand it after but in the beginning to he wrote it off. I like Him as a reactor he understands a lot but I felt like this speech is super important to what makes Naruto so good. I'm sure he picked up on it when he rewatched it in Dub

Pain will essentially force "peace" upon the world through fear and unassailable power, but in the process is perpetuating the cycle of hatred. It's interesting how Naruto never thought about Pain's question, but the discussion helped him choose the right approach and in the process understood the road to peace is not that easy.
