My Hero Academia - 5x1 and 5x2 (UNCUT REACTION)

Comments

kayla_san

lets fucking gooooo … love started my week with mha reactions ☺️

Drewdle

Waiting for s5 after the teaser at the end of s4 was rough so this makes me happy to see

NANI

SEASON 5 OF PEAK HERO ACADEMIA HERE WE GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Reclaimer

season 5 IS important, but, it feels a little unimportant when you're watching it.

IllestBon

Dude Season 7 isn't even halfway out, but it has already become one of my favorite seasons. Season 6 was also amazing!

Noboi

Here is where we're properly introduced to the GOAT of the Todoroki family Natsuo. It's great to have a character actually stand up to Endeavor and put him in his place since he seriously deserves to be humbled.

Nadiaaa

My season rank is 6, 7, 3, 2, 5, 4, 1. AND out of endeavor and all might I'm going all might, but I like Hawks, Mirko, Edgeshot and Nezu the most❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

goblin.bones

I remember absolutely buzzing out of my skin for these eps after the teaser in season 4 when it first dropped - glad you enjoyed! I think you'll like this season, and the direction of the series in general 👀

Cimten

My personal ranking of each season would go : 4 > 1 > 2 > 3 > 5 > 6. Season 7 isn't finished so I'm not ranking it, also my ranking is based on how much I enjoyed watching it and includes the quality of adaptation since I've read the manga

t-menk

Imo seasons ranked best to worst. 4 3 6 2 1 5 Season 7 has been amazing so far too so I'd probably put between S3 and S6. (I know what's still to come, so it may move up)

Adam Krasnodębski

Ngl after todays post I thought we wouldn’t get these episodes for the next couple of days but I’m really happy they are here already

JapaneseBubble

I truly dont think that season 5 causes MHA to fall off; I think that the pacing DURING RELEASE caused it to be received negatively, but as of rewatching seasons 4, 5, and 6 on a binge rather than a weekly release, I found myself enjoying them far more. I absolutely LOVED seeing your reaction to the 2nd movie, and am stoked for you to experience the rest of the show :) hope you enjoy it!

Mert Akyüz

My Season ranking: 6>4>=2>3>5>1 and the way 7 is going it has the potential to be the best one

V STAN

LESGOOOO, so yeah season 5 is a lot of buildup and it's production struggled alot so you'll see a decline in art and animation mid way🔥

Zapioh

Worst to best seasons: Season 1 Season 2 Season 4 Season 3 Season 5 Season 7 (So far) Season 6

CEEmma

Season 5 struggled a lot towards the middle to end of its production due to the majority occurring during the PEAK of Covid causing the production to collapse a bit. But I think despite the hit it did to the pacing, Season 5 has some great moments and episodes.

SpoopyTiger

Seasons ranked from worst to best in my opinion: 5 ( First half makes me put it at last second half is amazing ) 3, 1, 4, 6, 2

Leb

Season 5 is only hated because it’s main purpose is to build up the rest of the story

spring deerling

I understand why people can't forgive endeavor, it can be a very personal thing to deal with. But as some who grew up with an abusive parent I do think people can change and learn. I forgave my mom a couple years after I moved out. We both talked about what happened and why. I still have nightmares about being a kid again and my mom being abusive, but I'm glad we were able to grow together and reconcile

Karin

Season rankings (from BEST to WORST): 7/6 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 5 - 4

spring deerling

Bakugos growth as a character is so great. From an asshole confused bully who couldn't deal with his feelings, to still an asshole, but one that's better with his feelings and has a healthy rivalry with deku.

Popcorn

I would say my favorite are: 0. Season 7(I already read the manga up to date, so I know it will overtake season 6) 1. Season 6 2. Season 4 3. Season 3 4. Season 5(It's not as bad as people think, although manga version of what happened in season 5 is better. But the last episodes saves this season for me) 5. Season 2 6. Season 1

Fallen Crest

My favorite season is 6 and 7 so far is up there in the top for me. I can't really rank the other seasons since each season since there will usually be 1 arc out of each season that I'm not as fond of as the others. I definitely enjoy Endeavor more as a character than All Might. Just because his story is more interesting to me. When we meet All Might, he is already the number 1 hero and has been for years and his power is so overwhelming that the other heroes can't even compete. I like an overpowered character when we see them start from nothing and rise up to be super strong by the end which is why I enjoy Deku so much. From the small bits of All Might's past we did see, I just didn't find it as intriguing as Endeavor and his family's story.

t-menk

Also S5 isn't "bad", but there were a lot of things fumbled when it released. -A long odd break between episode releases followed by an immediate filler episode once it returned from the break screwed with the pacing/hype. -The weird decision to flip the 1st and 2nd arcs around (which led to spoilers in regards to the 2nd arc being revealed early and thus ruining some of the reveal/tension.) -The 2nd arc skipping some large plot points and overall feeling rushed.(This was considered one of the best arcs in the manga by many). This was compounded by the fact that there were MULTIPLE filler episodes this season that could have been better spent on the 2nd arc instead. - Overall the quality of the animation didn't feel quite as polished as other seasons at times. Censoring some parts of the anime vs manga frustrated many. (I don't personally mind it too much, but it was a complaint.) I don't think it's a bad season personally but it is one of the weaker ones when you compare it to the others. A few minor tweaks and it could have been much better, but like most MHA, it's overhated.

Chamoun101

I can understand that, but still "I will never forgive the Japanese" for the first half of season 5.

James Perrott

That was not Neijires underwear lmao (unfortunately) She just wore a t shirt over her usual hero costume bodysuit so it looked kinda like underwear lol anyway neijire hot and cute

James Perrott

This first episode was a filler, repaying the endeavor fight, naming every single class A member again, and a filler fight. Only non filler scene was in episode 2 anyway lol

Noboi

Yeah, I went a different way with my stepfather. I cut him out of my life even after he said he realized the error of his ways. I'm glad that he feels some regret, but I'm also just better off without him in my life. Hope you're feeling better!

Di4mond

Nick. This was revealed in season 2. All for one gave the white haired brother a power stocking quirk, but the brother unknowingly already had a quirk. the power to transfer quirks. the two quirks mixed and out came one for all

kc!

as someone who watched before reading the manga i really enjoyed s5! i feel a lot of complaints esp about pacing are from people who read before/watched when it was airing

Sora

invisible girl was talking about hawks being hot btw

Lemony snicket

surprised 1st episode was in this thought it was filler

Mert Akyüz

Nick you seem to have forgotten the origin story of One For All a bit. I recommend you to watch All Mights explanation in S2 again!

spring deerling

I'm dying at Nick pausing and simping for endeavor 😂 he is a beefcake lmao

Mobi_fiufiu

It were told seasons ago by all might, afo gave his Brother power cuz he thought that his Brother dont have one, but afo were mistaken, his Brother were born with quirk to pass quirks to other ppls. And thats how ofa was created, all might told that when he told midoriya about afo existance

matteo nindido

At this point in where your watching, you can tell Hawks was hired to investigate the league from inside and out. I don't know what could be bad about that? Maybe you didn't understand what they hired him for?

spring deerling

I think horikishi has done a great job at capturing the different ways kids/ a family would act in a situation like this

Fudge D. GOAT

hopefully this aint a spoiler but one of the reasons s5 gets so much hate is cuz of the way the arcs and some scenes were re ordered from the manga some arcs were swapped around to promote the 3rd mha movie

Travis Hammonds

1. Season 3 2 season 2 3 season 6 4 season 1 5 season 4 6 season 5

spring deerling

If Nick got isekai'd to the mha universe, he'd single handedly cause a heteromorph uprising 😂

Wild Wesley

AFO thought his brother was quirkless, but his quirk was being able to pass his quirk on to another. AFO gave him a power stockpiling quirk that mixed with the younger brother’s quirk and that became OFA. It was explained around the beginning of season 2 so it is understandable that people might have forgotten. And I’m pretty sure they haven’t mentioned Toya until now, but I think in one of Toderoki’s flashbacks they show the back of his head for a split second.

MechaSquirtle

Honestly, season five is overhated, mostly by manga readers. They removed some things they shouldn’t have, and from like, episode 15-20 of the season, the animation isn’t great. However, this season from episode 4-10 has some good animation, and the arc is actually important to virtually every character. If you go into the season expecting anything like the Overhaul raid arc, then you will be disappointed. However from episodes 20-25, things are incredible (despite some things that are removed from the manga, but won’t bother you much if you don’t read it).

Rachel_Roo34

Season 6 got me hooked on MHA, the rest were just alright to me. And I can not wait for all of Nicks questions to be answered!

Dave Spanners

3 is best for me, but s5 is probs second. Then 2, 6, 4, 1. I can't comment on 7 yet but I reckon it'll be up near the top somewhere!

Dean Machine

I haven't seen 7 yet but I would say from best to worst it goes... 6, 4, 5, 2, 1, 3... please don't hate me lol

James Perrott

swapping those 2 arcs literally made it better, that isnt a valid complaint, the first 2 arcs have a lot to complain about

James Perrott

Basically season 5 has a decent amount of really good stuff, but a lot of bad too. The first arc simply drags way too long and doesnt feel important enough, and the second arc is a bit of a mess, idk i just didnt enjoy it the last arc is amazing tho

Shiwa chan

Fell off ? The Todoroki family story is one of my favorite parts in MHA !

James Perrott

Season 5 definitely wont be your favourite, but the finale absolutely is a contendor for one of the best episodes of the entire series.

Alex Townsend

My season rankings so far has to be from Worst To Best, 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6. (7 only has 10 episodes out so far but its making a case for top 3 seasons)

CosmoNeto140

Manga reader - Best to worst [ (counting for the future) 7 despite audience reception] 6 2 3 - 4 1 —— [5 weakest first half - worst adaptation]

Noboi

Minus Enji, it's definitely the best-written plotline

Martin Fink

Oh thus season is the build up season to the craziness of the next one. There are plenty of moments in this season that's it so much better than what people are saying. Your going to enjoy this season.

rizqiefajar

The fact that you enjoyed the 1st ep of the season, you'll probably gonna enjoy the whole season even though it's more of a buildup for S6

Burger King

Seasons ranked 6 4 3 5 2 1 (Best to worse)

Upamanyu Baishya

Deku is the 9th user of OFA, so there were 8 people before him, we know that all might is in his 50s, so Almight himself is more than 30 years older than Deku. So by that math the 1st user of One for All must be more than 150 years old. Since All for one is the brother of the 1st user. They are about the same age. So All for one is alteast a 170-190year old grandpa

TripleJ

S6 S3 S2 S1 S4 S5

Dean Machine

Yeah I really didn't like the Provisional License Exam Arc for some reason. That almost ruined the season for me.

nic ˚୨୧⋆。

Reminder that 5x16 is technically a filler episode, however it does contain information regarding the third movie, which takes place after that episode. I know that you don't watch filler, but I would seriously encourage you to watch this one, as it also includes a design change that'll confuse you if you skip it

Ockto

1. Season 6 2. Season 2 3. Season 3 TIED 3. Season 4 TIED 4. Season 1 5. Season 5

t-menk

AFO's little bro actually did have a quirk that neither knew about. It was the power to pass on quirks to others. Since he had no other quirk before, this was unknown. AFO gave his little bro a stockpiling quirk. When both of those abilities combined, it became OFA.

Ockto

The Hawks double plot twist was disorienting for me as well. Just for the record: Hawks IS a good guy. He was asked by Public Safety to infiltrate the League. He's a triple agent.

Kaelyn Meier

(Best to Worst IMO) 1. Season 6 (Both arcs blew me away. There was not a single episode or storyline that felt meh to me; lots of things come together, and there's a definite shift in the tone - Nick will love that it gets darker) 2. Season 7 (so far it's fantastic but hasn't blown me away like season 6 did, but I have read the manga, so it's very possible it could overtake 6; Season 8 as well) 3. Season 3 (the Training Camp arc is probably my favorite arc of all because the stakes finally felt real, and those three episodes (I don't think I need to explain which ones) live in my head rent free; I think this is where I really got endeared to the characters) 4. Season 5 (as others said, it's really just a buildup for season 6; the first half feels stale, but second half makes up for this - the story is front and center, and it's really rich) 5. Season 4 (Overhaul arc is amazing and so is the festival performance, but I don't feel like the main characters themselves interact much, which loses points for me) 6. Season 1 (as an introductory season this is solid and concise) 7. Season 2 (this one just drags on for me in all 3 arcs, but the arcs themselves are good)

danni

my faves are 2,3,6,4.5,1 Season 7 is climbing up there tho theyve been killing it this season

Kleed44

More Dabi any and every day

goblin.bones

6, 7(so far), 3, 4, 5, 2, then 1 - I wouldn't rank s5 high out of all of them, but it's still an AMAZING season 🔥

Unforeseen

Season best to worst 7 6 3 4 2 5 1 But they are all great

Micheal Igreja

My Seasons from best to worst are: 6 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 5 > 1 Going purely based off of how many episodes I loved during those seasons.

oceans

Considering you’ve said some of your favourite characters include tokoyami, endeavour, and u rlly like the Todoroki family side story, I think you will enjoy this season

JRV

7 6 4 5 2 3 1

Jared Coury

The history of OFA and AFO was explained in detail in Season 2 episode 20. We already knew all the information in this episode this is just them showing it happen.

yasmina C

i can't really order the seasons by best to worst because all of them at least have 1 episode that blows me away lol. But I will say, the 3rd and 6th are probably at the top for me currently. I won't judge 7/8 yet until they're fully done. As for "little brother" in the vision, you kept saying he was one of the one for all users, yes he was. But he was also the first - like Deku pointed out when he first saw him.

migo

not jojo catchin a stray 😭

Sorcha Sulliavn

nicks gonna lose it when he gets to season 6 ep 11

Kawaisou

Not necessarily. Its not like OFAwas passed down from old people to young people all the time. For example (hypothetical. Not true numbers) the 30 year old 2. User could give the power 2 years after he aquired it to the 30 year old 3rd user because he was injured and dying. In the times where AFO was active, there was a war like state where a lot of people died and all might was the only one who hsd it for so long therefore the passing between 9 people could be just 60 years or so

ryejett

Endeavor's redemption arc is absolutely wonderful. He's an amazing character with some very serious flaws but I think he is definitely redeemable. I'm excited for you to get to see more of the Todoroki story line, I think you'll really enjoy it! As for Endeavor vs All Might - honestly, I couldn't pick 😂I love characters for their flaws and faults just as much as I do for their virtues - the two of them are equally as good as each other imo. If I had to pick another pro hero I loved though, it'd definitely be Eraserhead / Mr. Aizawa, hands down!

goblin.bones

Someone might've mentioned it, but AFO's brother getting OFA was explained by All Might at the time he told Izuku about AFO! his brother had a "useless" quirk to pass on quirks, which made him seem quirkless - however, when AFO gave him a stockpiling quirk, the two quirks mixed together and became OFA. :~)

goblin.bones

I think a big part about Endeavor's words is also that it's establishing his understanding of his wrongdoings - he wants to work to be a better person, but understands that there's a difference between atonement and forgiveness.

cristobal rojas

Nick you need to rewatch 2x20, it´s been 3 season, so is normal to forget some details. just watch the conversation between all might and deku, that will clarify things a lot.

freecostco

2x20 all might explains the origin of one for all and how it relates to all for one. i suggest watching it again because the way all might tells it is so much cooler, but in quick summary: when quirks first appeared, society fell into chaos and all for one took advantage of that as shown in this ep where he made people indebted to him/follow him. his brother was sick and quirkless but had a strong sense of justice and opposed his brother's motives. all for one gave him a "stockpiling" quirk that essentially allows for the wielder to stack quirks, which multiplies the power of the quirks he wields. turned out his brother actually DID have a quirk, and it was the power to pass on his quirk to other people, which could only be used if he had a quirk to pass on. so those quirks combined and formed One For All.

Chris Gama

Yeah I don't know why people say that this season "fell off", to me its more of "the calm before the storm", because its a lot of set-up for whats coming, so its VERY important even if it seems that the story isn't progressing much. Its a chess game, and all these pieces are moving into place.

dartcp

The first half of season 5 is just ok, the second half is technically interesting because of the story. I wouldn't call season 5 bad, but it is the weakest of the seasons. Even if season 5 is weak, season 6 blows you away even more. 6,3,2,1,4,5

Morgan Joe-Peters

''look boy" looks like Natsu from fairy tail, and in the dub va is played by Natsu as well, also Natsu uses fire which is proly why he likes endeaver a lot. just some things ive noticed.

Nomad

The rankings I gave on Anilist give this order: Season 3 Season 6 Season 1 Season 2 Season 5 Season 4

Nathan Mathews

I normally don't comment but here is my rankings: Season 7 (So far) Season 3 Season 6 Season 2 Season 4 Season 1 Season 5 Season 5 still aint bad ngl

PennyQuill

Season 6 Season 1 Season 2 Season 4 Season 3 Season 5 Season 7 would be somewhere in the middle, but it's still in progress so I'll see

AntDogg32

season 6 is one of the best anime seasons ive ever watched

Bloodiamond20

My rankings: Season 3 Season 6 Season 2 Season 7 (as of now) Season 4 Season 1 Season 5

Sabrina

Endeavor is trash, a trash husband and an awful father, season 6 made me hate him even worse, i have to say i hate shitty parents.

Jahdiel Zakria

ok something really important ive realised after watching the first few ep of s7. this is not a spoiler but the scene with all for one is really important, the part where he gives the guy a quirk that is and in doing so created an 'ally' as he asks them if they will help him when he is in need.

jiwon330

Season 5 isn't bad, it has important episodes and interesting stories, but I haven't been able to put much money into this show because I'm working on a movie together at this time!

Jeremy Brooks

Lol I like how all the little cry babys btches said there wasn't any spoilers but Nick says it himself 🤣🤣 love being correct 99% of the time

FMTš Mýυˉ

My ranking from the best to the worst season would be: 6, 4, 3, 2, 5, 1

Abigail Jerry

As I’ve always said… Nick, go into it with an open mind. EVERYONE’S opinions are different. While this season may be the “most boring” you might like it more than others. I know I enjoy EVERY season because it’s all important to the development of the MHA story (which is actually ending in August. The manga). So just enjoy it! Have fun and get a closer connection to these characters. You’re in for a wild ride!

Scarlowi

1. season 6 2. season 4 3. season 3 4. season 2 5. season 1 6. season 5

Gavynnnnn

God forbid people make mistakes and have opportunities to change. Let’s hope you don’t have a kid or two, make mistakes that really hurt them, and then have them treat you exactly the way you clearly encourage.

Sabrina

Parents arent perfect and we dont expect them to be but physically abusing ur wife and children on a regular basis is a mistake?! I think not.. this is anime and i understand how far some characters might go to seek revenge even though revenge is mostly self destructive.

Upamanyu Baishya

Yeah thats also true. But even taking that into account we still get AFO's age to be atleast 140 or more. Because almighty alone passed his quirk to 14yo deku when he was like 50.

Tyler Hughes

1. Season 6 2. Season 3 3. Season 4 4. Season 2 5. Season 1 6. Season 5 Bonus: Season 7 so far is probably ranked 1 or 2

Scarlowi

yes bro please rewatch season 2 episode 20 you already seen all this

Avaren

1. Season 6 2. Season 3 3. Season 4 4. Season 5 5. Season 2 6. Season 1

GuGu

Mushoku Tensei ???????

Zigyas

My list of seasons: (1 highest, 7 lowest) 1. Season 4 2. Season 2 3. Season 1 4. Season 3 5. Season 7 (so far - I spoiled it by finishing manga recently, but so far so good) 6. Season 6 7. Season 5 And to be honest I like Endeavor as a character even tho he is not written to be liked. He did some fucked up shit in his past, but most of the show is his redemption arc. I love that he grinded so hard to be no.2 hero basically his whole life and made it. He is strong, it's just the strength level between him and All Might was too big.

e10

It’s been a while but All Might already told us the origin of OFA in season 2. The little brother turned out to have a quirk that can pass on quirks, so that fused with the stockpiling quirk that All for One forced onto him and created OFA.

Fake HSGO

Season 5 it's ok... not dope, but ok... Season 6 is HUGE...

suhrahha

Since Hawks is in control of all of his feathers, when he makes them float toward the floor, it is literally just him being a drama queen. He's so fucking extra and I love him.

MachoTM

Toya is their brother that died at some point.

yorozuyapetel

season 5 was the first season after i caught up so i have good memories of it but i dont remember if it was all that bad. i just remember there was a lot of discourse, and hype for season 6 getting animated

Kuso

youll like it bc you ENJOY mha for what it is... but season 6 will be your favorite with no doubt and FOR EVERYONE WHO DOESNT READ MANGA SEASON 7 WILL EITHER BE YOUR LEAST FAVORITE OR YOUR FAVORITE

Ghost Face

I am so exited for him to realise what the bigger picture is as this season grows into the next one. This episode was a lot of information to process, but it unfolds so beautifully over the next season and beyond

Ghost Face

Season 5 is amazing for what it is: story. If you enjoy smaller arcs, or "filler" then you'll enjoy the season too, but when you get to season 6 and onward you'll understand and appreciate how crucial season 5 is

Mismagius

bro we already know afo and ofa are brothers...

Pax the Casual

Season 4 fell off for me, then picked back up at 5 and onward.

Stephen5311

Seasons Best To Worst: 7? -> 6 -> 3 -> 4 -> 1 -> 2 -> 5

tyla_xoxo

How the hell would he connect it it took alot of people to connect it when they rewatched mha some people would connect it cuz they either r really focused on certain details or they watched mha when mulitiple seasons were already out then they would make theroies n us fans would explore those therios alot of people dont look at that stuff cuz they like to be shocked so chill

tyla_xoxo

Bro ikr the scene were hes helping endever fight n hes saving those people from those nomus my god i swear 😍 then later on theres another scene were he decideds all dramaticlly in front of certain people later on n hes being extra as hell

tyla_xoxo

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my dude is secretly smart he just doesnt know it yet im still curious if he still thinks that shoto wasnt abused by him or if he knows n just doesnt say it n the bit with bakugos dad if he truly believes that or if hes just messing around cuz hes seen his real parents but his dad is so chill

Yankles

better2worse: 3267451

tyla_xoxo

And even tho this is a anime it does deal with. Real life things n go into them which i find great cuz not alot of animes do that they go into trama for alot of characters that r relateable such as what endever did to his entire family natural respounse towards to this n how it effects the person shoto was abused n isolated so he had no idea how to interact n had zero emotions eri was kidnapped n abused uruaka has money issues bothcertain classmates n certain villians have issues with people accepting them for who they r n so much stuff

Eclairia Monarch

Season 6, 4, 3, 1, 5, 2 though personally, Season 1 will forever hold a special place in my hearts, just like AOT S1 & Haikyuu S1 because they have one significant moment that solidified and foreshadowed how good the show was going to be, with MHA being Aizawa’s love for his students during the USJ episodes. That made me love him and the show so much since then

DJ Pavan

Best to bad 6,3,4,2,1,5

ShisuiUchiha480

season 6 and 3 were the best 6 i liked the most because the change of atmosphere and how the story took a turn plus deku finally looked like a true mc and season 1 wasnt that bad i liked it more than the rest of the show the little stain arc too was lit but the overhaul and destro arcs trash and they dragged out the lore too long it took 5 seasons to finally understand what all for one is and who the previous users were they introduced them all at once instead one at a time unlocking his quirks as he progresses in the story

Anthony Duque

Nico Im ngl. but I feel like season 5 is underrated. My list is 6,3,4,2,5,1. 5 is very important and I definitely enjoy it as much as some other seasons. Im excited to watch this again along side with you.

SE

Bro s5 is great they just cry cause it change some things from manag but its still nice lol 2nd part of it is the best

SE

Bro the season is great give a shit on the people saying its bad it wasnt bad and it will never be bad .. s7 right now is also fire !

SE

and i forgot 2nd part of s5 is so important to understand veryones intentions !

Mustard

My top seasons would prolly go 1. Season 7 2. Season 4 3. Season 6 4. Season 5 5. Season 3 6. Season 2 7. Season 1 I don't really understand the season 5 hate.. It's just a more mellow season 😭🙏

Parched Lemon

My ranking of the seasons (excluding 7) would be: Season 6 Season 4 Season 2 Season 3 Season 1 Season 5 But let me get this straight, although season 5 is last, I don't dislike it AT ALL. For me it's very close to season 1. It sets up a lot of super important stuff for later on and it develops characters in a nice way, but I found myself on the edge of my seat less for 5 than for 1. I have enjoyed every season though and you are certainly in for a treat!

Arkan Matlub

Ranking my seasons: Season 7 (even season is unfinished, it’s already far surpassed) Season 6 (really great overall season with dope highlights) Season 4 (Overhaul and endeavour carried it, but Gentleman and La Brava was great too) Season 3 (Loved the My Hero episode of Deku standing after defeating muscular. Then Bakugo rescue and Afo vs Ofa fight was amazing, whole season was tension packed) Season 5 is TIED with Season 3. (No spoilers, a scene comes on here which is the start of something extraordinary, and then second half with other types of people were just pure amazing storytelling) Season 2 (Todoroki vs Deku plotline carried entire tournament arc, stain arc was great, Deku and Bakugo vs all might was nice to see too.) Season 1 is an amazing entrance to the series, and the entrance exam arc then also the entire USJ invasion by the league of villains was incredible. Last in ranking does not actually mean the worst, it’s just compared to the others.

Arkan Matlub

It no doubt will be many’s favourite. The entire thing is just PEAK conclusions. Only weird thing is Bakugo exploding a bit at the end even though he is tired. (From what? No one knows… No spoilers guys!!)

Zapioh

If you read, you'd see that is ranked at the highest, since it's worst to best

Shassassin

Ranking: Season 3 Season 6 Season 4 Season 7 Season 5 Season 2 Season 1 That’s my rankings. But I love MHA as a whole so I really do not like to rank seasons. For me it’s like One Piece. I love OP so I’d never rank the seasons. I just watch to enjoy. So, really this ranking is for fun.

Can't really think about the ranking right now but definitely the 7th season, even though it's not finished, is the first one 🔥 I also love season 4 and 6

6Honestly I like season 5 more than second halves of 2, 3 and 4. Mostly manga readers who shit on it because the pacing is a bit weird.

S6 > S1 = S2 > S3 > S5 > S4 but idk, it's all really great stuff and different parts will impact different people in different ways. just go into everything with an open mind and experience it however is authentic and true to you. <3

I don't care for Endeavor. I appreciate his character arc, but growing up with abuse, yk, I just ain't about forgiving abusers. IMO, he needs to lose everything before he can be redeemed.

have you watched S7 yet/read the manga? just wondering how much you know so far (abt the rest of endeavors story)

@Mator I actually feel the exact same way, and I've read the whole manga and seen the whole show so far. It bothers me that it feels like he never faces true consequences, and I don't count common events that happen to most heroes like injuries to count as redemption for all the shit he did (I won't spoil anything specific). I was disappointed how I felt like this show had such potential to address abuse, but it kinda dropped the ball with Endeavor's "atonement" in my personal opinion, but people are free to feel how they want of course

@Tigerclaw I'm up to date with the anime. I deeply appreciate MHA as a piece of media, and enjoy the Todoroki plot. But my personal feelings about abusers don't leave a lot of room for compromise. In the real world, abusers will do just about anything to avoid reckoning with their own darkness. They will construct their own fantasy realities where they weren't absolute scum of the earth terrible people to avoid the psychological agony of acknowledging the pain they caused to the people they ostensibly "care" for. I'm honestly not even convinced that redemption is possible for most abusers. Most of the time, the best thing that other people can do is completely and permanently remove them from their lives. Redemption for someone who beat their own children, like Endeavor did, would have to be something on the scale of a lifetime of atonement. Child abuse is, in my opinion, one of the greatest sins imaginable. @Kleed44 I don't think I'm quite as critical of MHA for its handling of this as you are. I just know going into things about the conservative nature of Japanese society, so I didn't have high hopes or expectations. I view works in the context they are created, so even just featuring a character like Endeavor and having him be such a tragic and flawed character was already leaps and bounds ahead of what most other media is doing, even outside of a purely JP context (based on my limited consumption).

As someone who also grew up in an abusive household I ended up realizing a lot after reaching adulthood about the way previous experiences actually affect people and lead them the wrong path. As someone who was physically abused by one of my parents I fully understand the way you feel. I resented that person and hated even the slightest idea of letting that go, until I started to notice unethical behaviors from myself and related to said parent more, realizing how it’s all just a cycle of hatred passed down through generations of sick people batteling their own traumas and being unable to handle them. That is why I actually sympathize with Endeavor probably way more than any other character in the show. And, knowing other people who dealt with the abuse themselves, I actually really enjoy the way MHA portrayed it in the series. There always will be Fuyumis, who are capable of letting go and giving a chance for redemption in order to achieve a better future. There will always be Natsuos, who resent the abuser and don’t want anything to do with them. And none of these are wrong, people just tend to cope with trauma in different ways. Just like you are against forgiving abusers I tend to sympathize with their stories more just because I knew a person who went down that path because of their own horrible childhood and trauma, and I genuinely feel horrible for those people too even though they hurt me a lot in the past. I understand, that they were in the same situation as me, but were unable to cope with it properly. I like how kids don’t just automatically forgive him, he actually has to face consequences of his actions. Natsuo will never forgive him, Touya also never will. Endeavors life is honestly kinda hellish, and IMO, realizing that your actions lead to your kids hating you plus a birth of one of the most dangerous villains is kinda “losing everything” in itself, it’s not like he’s chilling on a beach drinking wine right now. But I really like how this show portrays his arc letting everyone decide on their own if they want to forgive him or not, just like his kids do. It just feels so well made to me.
