I’ll have more info next week.

1) the episodes will be released like the Naruto subathon. 2 episodes every other day. That’s 6 episodes a week. More than usual. (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)

2) this keeps it special for those that take time off to come to the subathon livestream. Releasing it all at once makes no sense.

3) the subathon might take a few days to complete.

We have 10 episodes left before the subathon, which will most likely be watched next week on 2 back to back streams. But I’ll announce that when I have next weeks schedule ready.

Marineford is probably less time than you realize. Little less than 12 hours run time (not including the "post-war" part)... I'd recommend trying to do that section, the main battle, in one sitting.

Thanks for the reply straw hat, it is however it depends how long he streams for. I haven’t caught a subathon from him before so if he streams for 8 hours for example it would end at 2am which may be a bit late for people working. It’s not an issue. Just thought I’d ask since I’m not sure how long these streams tend to be.

Once again requesting that Nick at least consider putting the full stream on the 15 dollar tier. Can't clear out my schedule for that many days and I really don't wanna miss out. I'm sure many would happily upgrade to the 15 dollar tier if it means we get to see what we missed on the subathon stream.

I'm fine with the amount of eps, but the problem is that you're still watching the show on stream after the subathon. Patreon is going to be perpetually behind now like it is with Naruto. I liked being able to watch the stream here, and not having to deal with twitch ads and buffering

I get that making it special for people to come out to the actual stream is fine or whatever, but people are paying money here on Patreon too and only 2 episodes every other day just feels WAY too harsh to me. But especially when kids who have free time to watch the stream and don't pay anything to you get better treatment than paying fans on Patreon... Like, I SERIOUSLY don't feel right complaining, and I wasn't going to say anything originally and just deal with it, but this was a really good point and I just felt the need to voice my agreement with this sentiment... At the end of the day, I still think you're one of the best reactors I've watched and will still stay a paying Patreon member of course. But it does kind of really hurt only getting 2 episodes every 2 days in spite of paying...

Cool that's just awesome. no not really. you know nick you would have a lot more people watching your stream if you streamed at like 6, 7, 8, or 9 pm eastern standard time because more people will be out and done with work for the day and be able to catch your streams like me I live in the most eastern time zone in the United States and every day I get up to go to work at 5:30 am I have a 20 minute drive to work and then I usually get back home at like 9:30-10:00 pm so I still most likely wouldn't be able to catch your streams but a lot of other people would

Keep in mind though that if you go to the subathon on twitch, then you're basically out the money for one piece reactions on patreon for multiple weeks. Basically realized from the naruto subathon that it was probably better off just not to going to it. Even now, we're still not caught up to the naruto subathon. So the 6 episodes per week, literally means nothing if you go.

This is fine, I probably won't try to watch the subathon because I probably will miss a day and I'll just have to wait a month or so to catch up on patreon. I think you should at least post the subathon reactions to patreon at a rate that catches patreon up before your first post subathon one piece stream because there is no reason for us to be behind on non subathon streams too just because we couldn't watch the subathon live.

I'm mainly here for Naruto, so I just figured I'd point this out to anyone who is only here for one piece. You'd be surprised how many people are actually subbed to someone for only 1 thing. And it's definitely not the end of the world, especially if you do watch him for other content too. I'm just saying, from my personal experience having gone to the subathon for Naruto, I haven't watched nick for anything other than one piece on the side. So without thinking about it, half the reason for my pledge for this month has basically been useless as I took it away from myself by jumping the gun on the subathon. There's definitely nothing wrong with watching the content out of order either, but most people prefer watching it in order and an even fewer amount of people are watching the show for the first time with nick so it would be literal spoilers if they jumped ahead.

@Nicholas you would actually make more money and more fans happy if you just upload everything after ending the stream, like actually I and SO many ppl would be happy and support you more. Ppl missing the first stream don´t even have to show up in the other streams because of that, I for example would cancel my sub on patreon for 2 months than renew it when u finally "uploaden" everthing, so bye bye to 6 euro and not just from me. Uploading everything after the stream i wont have to cancel it and u get all the money ;) so it makes ALOT OF SENSE to upload all at ones and happy fans too= better community. And the amount of work your safe from doing that is insane imagine, more time for youself and live or other stuff. PS: Not everyone has so much flexible free time like you and chefs say actually NO or go on vacation they toke months ago. Upload everything at once. Thank you very much :)

If you think about it moneywise of cource uploading them like he does 2 eps every other day makes sense because that will make more people myself included to come an watch his stream raising his views ( I don't know how much exactly the views count in twitch) and with that more people will sub wanting to get more episodes so he will make if not more at least the amount 2 months of one piece only members ( some are paying for other stuff too, again myself included) on patreon would have given him.

And putting money aside it is a special moment for him when his streams peak at numbers. For example the last subathon with naruto he got almost 9k viewers I think, that number for normal weekly streams is impossible to reach and he said that he wanted to become a big streamer too so it's obvious that he wants to keep it like that. And subathons are meant to be special and not normal streams, otherwise he would have done a one piece week like he did in the past. You can have your own opinion about this and it's up to you whether you stay or leave, he made his choice and he won't change it, so make yours.

I'm not gonna lie... I'd like for him to upload all the episodes after each stream too BUT... To say that he'd make more money doing so is just straight up lie. Idk if it would negatively affect him or not but it wouldn't give any boost at all. This business model is pretty common because it works and makes sense. Another thing is that while some people might struggle with time, the episodes aren't disappearing to anywhere just watch when you have the time???

Yes, I would rather have a 2-3 weeks break instant of 6-9 week break because of the delay. And even than any type of break makes no sense, because he is so much behind and inconsisint with his Naruto and One Piece reaction. Plus the main point of having Patreon in general is that we get all the uploads fast and uncut, this is not Youtube. Uploading eveything on Patreon instantly does not relate to how much he streams or how many episodes he watches on stream. He can have a one weeks break of the named anime after the subathon and slow down if needed, like watching 3-4 ep a week. But delaying it for weeks and have shitty uploads just makes no sense at all. Hope you can talk to him about it, so many ppl would be happier. PS: Thx for the response

I disagree with Vailing Bow. Anyone who reads this, remember that the value of the money you spend is entirely up to you. Don't let other people tell you when it's "smart" to support a great content creator like Nick. That being said, also give Nick some slack. He has his reasons for doing what he does, and he offers great content at a surprisingly great price. If you ever feel your sub isn't worth the value, you can always consider resubbing in the future when there's more content you enjoy available, or check out his other content to see if there's something you might also enjoy. The alternative is to try and harass Nick for content, and that doesn't help anyone.
