This arc is why I decided to watch MHA. I love this kind of arc where the mc who has been the hero for the whole story and has been saving everyone thinks he has to do everything alone and runs off on his own only for those people he saved and made friends with to chase after him. Not a lot of stories do this arc so I love that MHA did. Before I saw parts of this arc, I had no interest in watching the anime. It is also why I love Deku. Not because I think he is making the right choices in this arc, but because it shows how insane he is. Nighteye said it in season 4 that he couldn't understand the insanity that All Might and Deku have where they will push their bodies beyond their limits to save people. We've always seen this insanity in Deku when he was saving people, but he goes to such extremes in this arc which makes the pay off in episodes 23-24 so much more satisfying.
