Season 3 is not bad, there is a lot of politics in it and people don't like it

Yeah people seem to not like season 3 for some reason… it might be for a lack of action, but it spends its time on development and setting up the next conflict for season 4, so I don’t see a reason to hate on it? Also, Milim is top 2 demon lords in terms of power, and one of the 3 first ones, and here she was 10 times stronger than Rimuru WITHOUT trying. It’s like if she was base form Goku without actually powering up at all, it’s her BASE power level. That’s how absurdly strong she is.

Season 3 is more about the build up for the next seasons with actual important information and setups. It is not that action packed, but that is fine too.

season 3 weekly was a drag, as a binge though it got better. I stopped midway through and got back to it before the last two eps aired, honestly was a good experience, not as good as season 2 but still nice

Season 3 were mostly meetings, which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, since Slime has such a great world building. But I personally think that they were adapted truly poorly in the anime. There was very little animation or camera movement during them, so it felt like listening to an audiobook and looking at few PNGs. I don't really like audiobooks, so I think I would enjoy those meetings a lot more if I just read the light novel. That said, I can't wait for future seasons where we hopefully experience what is being set up during this season.

really bad take imo, there are ways to make dialogue scenes more interesting such as dynamic camera movements and slime season 3 didn't have that, it was just still frames with massive info dumps.

most of the people who didn't like season 3 are probably Anime fans ONLY who forgot what the anime is all about. The anime is about WORLD BUILDING not BATTLE SHOUNEN. It's basically like Doctor Stone but isekai, It was well adapted from the original source material, people who also read the light novel that disagree with this are just wasn't aware of the pace between READING and WATCHING or tend to not acknowledge it. Its a "calm before the storm" arc. All information matters, no fillers type shit.

Yea world building; may as well get it out the way now for the action every craves later. It's the same thing for any anime people instantly say "sucks" or "falls off". MHA, SAO are perfect examples of that.

season 3 wasn't bad but it wasn't exactly hype either, if you could binge the season or watch as much as you want whenever it's pretty good.....if you had to watch week to week like myself and the people who complain, it was a slow grind lol I still really liked season 3 personally but i get why people were mad, if you wait a full week to watch each episode for almost half a year, yeah i get why you might think it's boring compared to season 1 and 2 what's coming after season 3 though.......it's gonna be so worth it.....season 4 and a movie already confirmed

I think another reason people didn't like it as much is because weekly action is one thing, but a weekly carnival arc is so boring, but not as bad if you can watch 5 episodes or more at once instead of waiting for it weekly.

Season 3 is just dull coming off of the season 2 hype, but it’s not as awful as people say. The pacing was way too slow for weekly episodes though, binging it is much better. I compare it to how MHA s5 felt tbh

I’m fortunate enough to enjoy both shows, but the comparison isn’t about the shows’ quality, just the overall slow buildup feel of the seasons. I used MHA because he reacted to it recently so it’s relevant here

Nick, anyone telling you that you will drop this show in season 3 does not know this show.... Sure season 3 is a lot of world building and set up for the future but its still good and it builds for the badass stuff that happens in later seasons... Anyone that thinks season 3 sucks should read what happens after it.... I mean its like saying anything that happened in Naruto with the masked Madara is useless cause the real Madara is running around and a bigger threat....

I've read the ln, but i think S3 was at times a little bit boring. Cause you can read LN in your own pace. But you have to wait with new anime episodes and than it's just straight up talking for 3-5 episodes in a row. It's at times really exhausting and i think they could've cut down the stuff a little bit. Just my opinion.

s3 isnt bad per ce. Its more that is a lot of politics and world building, lots of talking but its set up for a BANGER arc in s4 when that comes out so, hopefully youll stick with it. People probs dont like it as much as the other seasons as the pacing slows down alittle from the constant character introductions and constant action, but its still a fun season

Slime is a world-building anime. People say it's not good because they get bored easily since there is no fighting or much action is what I reckon.

hey nick , I really recommend you watch the OAD 3-5 since they include some important stuff, plus watch the Visions of Coleous after the first cour of the 2nd season since if you watch it in between you might get spoiled.
