My brother in christ, all of the shows on the list are goated, except fairy tail. It's an actual kids show, and overall - trash. Made in Abyss is my suggestion. The music is extremely good, world building is exceptional, character design is simply amazing. And it's not very long, 24-ish episodes and one movie.

It's calm, it makes you think about the meaning of Life, and it doesn't skimp on action scenes, which are also superbly animated!

Fairy Tail gets ragged on because of the fanservice it has and because it used the power of friendship a lot. Other than that, I think the story is good and enjoyable. It is mostly lighthearted and funny though. It has a couple dark arcs, but it an adventure, comedy before being anything else. If you don't take your animes too seriously and just watched something to enjoy it, it is fun.

Fairy Tail music composed Yasuharu Takanashi who make music for Naruto Shippuuden, so definitely has one of the best score. Fairy Tail is cool but not that good like Naruto or OP. A lot of nakama power, but FT is good comedy if you like this kind of humor.

Sadly since it came out a while now the animation ain't that good, it's fluid and cool but nothing insane (from what I remember), but the story, OST, voice acting and the characters are just great and there is so much of them that you can love, It's been a while now but it was one of my first anime with AoT / Naruto. It's like a turning point and after that it get's insane and becomes a Masterpiece. I was already not a big fan of all of those except Fairy Tail cause already saw it but bro managed to ruined the first 10 mins Made in Abyss by again making shitty jokes every 5 secs, it needed one of the fews who isn't retarded in his tchat to make him realise why we are here first, classic by Nicholas. Just keep going on MiA, it really picks up towards the back end of the season and it's intense. After the first season, the 3rd movie comes next chronologically and picks up right where it left off. Just a heads up

for world building and the ost, made in abyss is a different experience theres nothing else like the stories that can only develop in the unique world they're in. Them being kids i think makes the show better as well and is also tied into certain plot elements and concepts, it's not all rainbows i dont think anything more messed up happens in another show. On another note for the steins gate mention, no other media in general i think does time travel better, crazy good writing and really likeable characters

I love Frieren, To Your Eternity and Made in Abyss. Fairy Tail is not my cup of tea. I have watched all the seasons of To Your Eternity and Made in Abyss and the first season of Frieren. I would say Frieren is def the strongest here overall and it just keeps getting better and better. To Your Eternity is overall good however the first episode is definitely one of the best first ep in all anime. Made in Abyss got Kelvin's god-tier OST and S-tier world-building and the story just keeps getting deeper and deeper (no pun intended), It packs a punch when the plot hits you with some of the character's story. And again the ost is just.... god dang...one of my fav.

To your Eternity's first season was wonderful, I have yet to see s2 save for the first episode, which honestly felt off both in quality and pacing. That being said, enjoy s1 if you watch it, it's a wild ride Saw on the ytb channel that Frieren ep1 was done so I came and took the patreon back for it Edit : your reactions never cease to make me laugh, as much as I get frustrated at times, it's really good times here

honestly, Fairy Tail is a mix of the One Piece jokes and design with the Black Clover vibe (obviously Black Clover came after, but yall get the point) The thing I like the most about Fairy Tail is that the female characters are actually GOOD, there are no Sakuras among the main females and that's a win for any anime as soon as you finish Naruto, I think it would be the standard replacement to go for Fairy Tail, only my opinion tho

Y'all may love Made in Abyss but I just watched the first season and I can tell you that he won't enjoy it except 2/3 episodes. Proposing shows is okay but you need to propose some that he will like, don't think about yourself only because you want him to react to it, propose names cause he will love it For my case since AoT S1 on youtube I only recommended Code Geass years ago cause it's different from what he saw back then and because I knew he would love it thanks to the story / OST / characters + voice acting and plot twists, and now I'll recommend GTO, the way he is reacting now to animes it's the perfect one to react to, and for those who saw it y'all know he's gonna love it and have a good time watching it, he's gonna fell in love with Onizuka and laugh at every episode EDIT fews days later : I just watched the movie and 9 episodes of S2, now I can tell why you all want to watch it, it's a crazy story in continuous progress, a 8.5/10 movie and a 8.5/10 S2. It's so dark, unique, I'll vote with y'all for this one next time don't even fcking worry about it

I think i waited from 2019 to 2022. And there is a canon movie dawn of the deep soul that is necessary to watch for anything in season 2 to make sense. Also yeah i hate the whole "nude"/"poop" aspect of the show. But i choose to ignore that and enjoy the other great aspects of the show (the adventure/story and mainly the music.)

Hes had some of the closest favorite anime Ive seen to what i also loved. Been watching him sense the start of the channel. I thinks its just a difference in opinion of what people think he likes. If he dropped the show on ep 3-5 and called it garbage i will be humbled and never bring MiA again and move on. For example on what im talking about watch what he says at 2:24:25. Well I see a lot of people writing "I want to see you react to Made in Abyss" because they love it and want him to react to it, they don't want him to watch it because he will love it, the difference doesn't seem that big but it has an impact. And yes this is my opinion and the difference in them is allowed of course I'm not a dictator haha, for exemple I wouldn't have expected him to like To Your Eternity, but with surprise he did but as I figured it's not a show that he can react to, it's something to watch in peace by your own. And yeah the best thing of course is to have a try and see if he drops it before the end of S1 cause some aspects that I didn't liked or valued enough he may find them beautiful and appreciate them more than I did. But my speech is coming from my years of experience with animes + him and his constant changes so it has solid bases. Problem is I don't know if he could drop a show that won a poll cause it's unfair toward his fans who finally won it so yeah idk.. Ohhh devil may cry. I was being dumb and thought you were talking about Devilman: Crybaby. I got them mixed up. I like anime with very good story telling and animation. I used to animate back when i was a kid so that passion fallowed when i started watching anime. Ive watched about 230 anime in the past 5 years and my favorites have to be Vinland Saga and AoT for the action/adventure. Mushoku tensei because of the animation and rpg elements and "Mid in Abyss" for its otherworldly feel and music. My #1 favorite though is hands down Land of the Lustrous animated by stuido Orange. Its a cool mystery anime and they throw you into this really cool world.

Well I'm not forcing myself it's a cool anime I'm enjoying the world, scenes, story growing little by little, I'm having fun except Rico annoying me sometimes as I said, they are travelling through the levels a bit too fast for me I mean it's a robot not fully controlling his abilities and a red whistle kid useless except for her knowledge, it's always better than having ZZZZZZ episodes not moving through the story but I would have like to see more of the levels, the nature, animals. Ah you did too so it's not just me hating on a kid, I mean kid but from what I understand she's what, 13-14 ? But yeah the world building is cool, not a big fan of the OSTs some are good but it's on me, I like those like Naruto / Code Geass / Demon Slayer that kind of OST. For the moment the show is a 6.5/10 for me Btw I just watched the 13th episode (On my 1st website there was only 12 so I was confused and lost about the end of episode 12 for a S1 lol) and damn that one was by far the most intense. The story of Nanachi + Mitty was sad af and this white whistle damn he's fucked up, and Legu had to do something crazy.. :( This episode + having Nanachi in the team now is cool it give me the envy to watch the movie and S2 and to know more about the story 😎

Ah for this one I knew he would like it, the scenes, OST, the vibe around the anime, it's the perfect different anime he needed to watch, it's so peaceful and wonderful that he glaze at every frame with stars in his eyes. It allow people to enjoy the beauty of anime, I went until episode 5 and plan to continue one day but first I finish Made in Abyss. And yeah the tchat and his jokes ruined the first 10 mins of MiA but even with that someone need to watch the first 3 episodes to understand what this is about and where the anime lead. Fairy tail is one i hold close to my heart as ive rewatched all 328 episodes 3 times now. I see the hate that it receives targeted towards its predictably of friendship to overcome the odds but thats the whole point of watching the show. You want to see the characters overcome the obstacles at hand and as thats happening uncover backstory and emotional depth. This show has heart and thats what makes it so special. Without a doubt it will be a memorable and rewarding experience to watch if nick eventually gets to it

And the pacing issue of that starts to mellow out in the show where they dont just go through a level in a day because Regu is there. It starts to take more time. Also sense you dont really like the main character and the music isnt drawing you in as much i can see why its a 6.5 / 10 for you. If you loved the music i feel like that would boost the overall score lolol. Yeah Nanachi is a cool addition to the team. It would get boring if it was just Riko and regu the whole time. And yeah i think shes around 13-14, the show doesnt say. Also season 1 is 13 episodes not 12. And episode 13 is 48m long so you might have missed something?

I actually finally started Frieren after your stream. It is good and I think you’ll enjoy it. I hope you do give Fairy Tail a chance. It has heart for sure and takes the time to develop each of the characters. The female characters in it are actually badass. Although there’s room for the characters to get stronger we are introduced to them when they are already really strong as you saw. You have a lot of valid points here and i respect your opinion very much. I haven’t watched too many different reactions of Nick’s, but I have my own reasons to think why he would enjoy it. He did say he wanted to watch something different, and so far from what I’ve seen him react to I think MiA is a pretty big departure from the norm. Then there is the music, which we both and most likely most people find just amazing. He also said that he had a preconceived notion about the show because of the cutesy art style of the characters, but he seemed to be positively surprised and very interested about the world surrounding the series. Then there is of course the fact that he loves dark shit. I remember when he reacted to the MHA openings he really wanted to skip to the “dark Deku” arc as he said. And to be honest it would be interesting to see his reaction to the most disturbing parts. But for the most part I will vote for Made in Abyss because I think it would be a series he would enjoy, not because I just want him to watch it.

Thanks. Yeah I'm Episode 9 of Season 2 and now I can clearly say that he would enjoy this anime very much, the S1 was a bit slow until the first half of it, but after that it get better and better. The movie is insane, the story is insane, it's indeed different from what he already saw, S2 is kinda disturbing but so good at the same time, the golden city and the people living in it when they first came is so good I wanted to know more about this side and they gave great flashbacks explaining what happened and how. I'm loving this anime right now I'm having a great time watching each episodes, he would definitely like it without a doubt
