WHAT WOULD YOU GUYS RATE THE SEASON ??? AND WHY????

Files

Previews only

Comments

Riley Happs

No! The subtitles didn’t get the Bankai reference

Ayo

all caught up 🥹

Cimten

Dude it feels like you started reacting just yesterday, when people on twitter would tell you not to react to this... look at you now, experiencing peak for peak

Ghost Face

bro finally caught up 🥹

Yasmine

its still crazy to me that now nick is all caught up, when my mha phase came back i wanted to see the reactions of other ppl and then i saw a nick video with the first ep of mha. its been 6months now that i follow what u do on ur chanels im glad that i found u thanks to mha lol keep up the work nick!!

Chris Walsh

lol nick that bloody poster at the end was actually bakugos playing card

Donuts

Dude I think you should dive into nerdcore and see some of the songs made for MHA, specifically Fabvl, Divide Music, and DizzyEight. I'd LOVE to see your reactions to that stuff!

Yasmine

YEA I WAS SOBBING ASF WHEN THE TOGA AND OCHAKO MOMENT CAME

103_luna_111
>>153145065

I would love for that too! I highly doubt it though unless it's different from the conventual nerdcore songs- he tried once or twice in the past and multiple people suggest it, idk he just doesn't like some of the ones that are too character specific... (completely agree with though)

SerVuS

23:20 IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW :D WATASHI GA KITA!

Skifreak 5150

Classic nick using the the wrong subtitles, but yeah, nick you are not wrong for not feeling much for toga. It was never all that compelling until togas final battle, the build up since togas debut was basically third fiddle to the main story and the todorokis. I remember reading the manga and I felt bad but never cried.

Donuts
>>153145065

Yeah, but I've always had a good go with Fabvl and Divide Music, they make SUCH good music

Fallen Crest

Melissa, the girl from the first movie, is heavily implied to have made Deku's mid-gauntlets in season 6 and she made All Might's suit and it was her voice that spoke to All Might in the suit. Her role here and seeing all the characters from the other movies shown watching the fight imply the movies are canon. Deku and his friends formed a connection with those characters and now those characters are cheering for them to win this.

Chris Tetlow

Solid 10/10. Every episode was a nail biting emotional roller coaster. I’ve read the manga, so I know how the story ends but how it was done here was pure magic. They did it justice for sure

Fallen Crest

The All Might poster at the end is actually Bakugo's card that he dropped when Shigarki killed him. Bakugo is the only one who was missing when all the class 1-A students were shown.

Stefan

That’s Bakugos card at the end

Syoin _

映画も観てほしい！ I want you to watch the movie too!

Rigin

We're not pissed for you not feeling anything for Toga don't worry, speaking for myself it just seemed like the reason you didn't feel anything is because there were many things you didn't pay attention to and a couple things you said were flat out wrong, like how Toga was born fucked up, or that she used to hurt animals, because she didn't. It's just sad because we as viewers really want people to understand the show because then you're able to feel emotional in scenes like these, it's a shame for anyone to not feel anything just because they missed some pieces of the story

Karin

I expect 11-13 episodes for season 8, there is not enough for a longer season, but at least they can focus on those, they will need a lot of work with whats coming. As for MHA Shippuuden, originally Horikoshi wanted to write it (like 2-3 years ago that was the original plan), but he got burnt out and got some health issues and stopped mentioning it(already ending the manga was a tall order as he struggled to keep up with the schedule). I think there is hope for MHA Shippuuden, but Horikoshi needs a LOT of rest first, and then maybe...

SupaSoldierLegend
>>153146876

Yeah I noticed last episode that he didn’t really understand her character because he incorrectly assumed things about her that were wrong and confirmed as much. He just didn’t pay enough attention when it came to her arc. I don’t know where he got some of his information from about some things like her “eating a bird” for example but he made her out to be a character that she is not and isn’t supposed to be made out to be. If he paid attention and understood her and still didn’t feel much for her then I would not have a problem. But it seems like his misunderstanding has led to him not feeling much more than anything else, which is annoying considering how long it was built up.

Spooky_man

I cannot see them turning it more than 10 episodes unless they gonna do a bunch of filler (EVEN IF THEY DO A LITTLE FILLER I CANNOT SEE THIS GOING MUCH ABOVE 10 EPISODES) We are VERY much at in the end!

nic ˚୨୧⋆｡

you being unable to understand and feel for toga during these episodes is because there were a lot of details that you didn't pay attention to during your reaction. you keep talking about how toga was "born fucked up" when the entire message of her character is the opposite.

nic ˚୨୧⋆｡
>>153146876

yeah... i was really looking forward to seeing how nick reacted to these last two episodes, and it's disappointing that they didn't make sense to him because there were so many things he missed and ignored as you said.

Idoray

The s8 going to be crazy, welle a read the manga and yes...

Enzo Jesus Aguilera Aros

Epic episode final for this epic season, i cant wait for the next, noo the guy who make the sub in this episode dont write the Bankai joke that said la Brava

victoria t

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BANKAI REFERENCE? Are you not watching on crunchy anymore?

Gabi_K
>>153146876

Totally agree with both of you. If you just rewind to all of Toga and Ochako interactions and understand the character’s plot, you could perfectly see how we got to that emotional moment. I personally cried.

DjmiL

Spoiler without spoiler to 8th season: Deku isn't main character bro💀

Avery Strasser
>>153149456

Exactly, he refers to her as “a psychopath who could’ve been a hero” when she’s just a person who was affected by the society around her

ユージオ
>>153146876

Sometimes man just needs to watch like normal to understand stuff instead of bouncing around. Dude is devolving to just wanting action stuff

Wild Wesley

That All Might “Poster” was the card Bakugo wanted All Mights signature on.

Arhanel
>>153146876

I think old Nick would get it, but recently he is just missing ton of stuff. I don't really care about this series, but other stuff like Naruto is sometimes weird when he acts surprised about info he should know since the beginning of the show

ThatWasOdd

I didn't really care for Toga either, so totally understandable that you didn't resonate with it that much.

Nicholas Brock

BTW at the end its not the All Might poster. its Bakugo's All Might Trading card that fell out when he got stabbed.

ISHOWNUT

if you call this cinema quality. So what do you call the one piece visual, Nick?

Mike

10/10 season, you can't change my mind. Excited for season 8!!

TheReveredNinja

Yeah I mean we already know that you don't really have a big heart or a big brain.

ThanadosO8

Wtf just bring naruto back already, some people are here just for it

TheKobalt

i don't feel like you are supposed to cry at Toga scene knowing her character and what she is so i get that, but still it should kinda make you feel bad for what it could've been,it has to be a scene that get's mixed feelings 'cause that is what the nature of what their development was. Anyway congratulations for being finally done with the series for now i've been following this reaction D1 we've come a long way! Thank you Nick

Milkshake
>>153159760

Bro calm down he doesn’t owe you anything it’s not an exclusive he could drop it if he wanted to, he already said it’s coming back like November

Leb

See y’all next year ✌️

alluzboy 18

What does he mean with Shigaraki choosing to be with some psycho group? He was groomed by afo from the start to go to that path and honestly with all he was going trough like at age 5 its pretty understandable how things turned out. And calling League of Villains a "psycho group" is a horrible understatement of their characters. Im hoping Nick would dwell deeper in these shows and understand more than the most surface level things but I guess thats not gonna happen in a while.

Greg Harrison

Kid Toga did not kill the bird. Just like when she kissed her friend's wound, and gave ochako blood, the point was to show that her blood quirk wasn't harmful and could've been used for good with the right upbringing.

Sickness

Did we ever get his reaction to the third movie? For some reason I am hard blanking on that

Leb

Season 8 will be like season 1. It will have 13 episodes

Jarvice

Ended up subbing because of MHA. It was fun reexperiencing the show like this and it made my weeks a little bit better. I'm looking forward to more Frieren and the later arcs of Bleach though!

Nelson Tavarez

Did you watched the third movie of my hero ???

Spooky_man
>>153149280

I wouldn’t complain if they did some anime only content in the goodbye arc!

Nathan Coutts
>>153159760

He literally cannot react to naruto or one piece while in japan. Since he streams it he could get ARRESTED for it. So shut up and be patient and stop being an ungreatful llittle child who isnt owed anything. You could go outside instead of complaining like a petulant 3 year old.

KettyWomble

Have you watched the 3rd movie yet? It's before what you've watched now

JulioLG
>>153159760

Ah, the internet, so good but one of the worst cons is to have people communicating in a way they'd never do face to face, so disrespectul, so coward.

SE

11/10

LhotvoShonen
>>153163338

Bro it's a show and that is a form of entertainment not every person wants to make themselves depressed because of fictional character having tragic backstory made up it's not that deep chill let Nick think whatever he wants

Kleed44
>>153152310

@Nathan your profile picture is awesome - I have a shirt with that picture on it too lmao

victoria t
>>153152310

That sucks, whoever made these subtitles completely ruined the Bankai reference for us Bleach fans!!! Nick if you’re reading this the cops made a reference to Bleach when La Brava was streaming, they called it her “bankai”

Kleed44

Everyone in the comments this episode and last episode has been talking about him not getting Toga's backstory (which I don't disagree with), but personally I feel like he didn't quite fully understand Toya's backstory and as a result, the ending to the Todoroki family story wasn't bittersweet in his reaction - he was just cheering for Dabi to die, which makes me think he didn't understand where he came from and what he went through, but it's just anime I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. We're all entitled to our opinions of course, but I just really hope Nick isn't ok with how Enji "parented" his children on a moral basis. I'd like to think Nick isn't cool with child and spousal abuse, violence, and neglect.

victoria t
>>153159760

Do you not pay attention? He is on vacation and cannot stream Naruto over there. He enjoys watching Naruto on stream with his fans. Shut up and go away if you’re just gonna complain, nobody is forcing you here JFC there are some real pieces of shit on the internet

Kleed44
>>153164778

Did they confirm officially how many episodes it will be? I finished the manga and there is definitely not enough left for more than like 12-13 episodes tops

victoria t
>>153152310

Also why is crunchy blocked in Japan that seems totally counterproductive lol

Elle

I was also the same. Didn't really care about Toga/Ochako story line but the climax of it made me the most depressed.

Kimetsu
>>153171820

Wdym he clearly said multiples times that Endeavor wasn't right, he was okay with the fact that he tried to atone himself to his family multiples times but the harm was already done. He knows that it's the behavior of Endeavor that lead Toya to this crazy state he was as a child trying his best to shine in his fathers eyes, you may need to watch 6x17 again

matteo nindido

the reason why you dont care is for two reasons: 1: you're talking over it, not easy to be immersed when you talk over it. 2: because you're talking over it, you dont understand it. like, you missed so much its crazy. you would actually understand the motivations, her development, story, etc, which would make you feel for her more.

Kimetsu
>>153171820

Being a dick or starting a fight lmao bro felt assaulted we're just talking about ours opinions go cry in your bedroom have a nice night then cya

Flaycont
>>153174963

With nick i feel like it's just him not paying attention because he talks over a lot of the dialogue which is understandable because he's a content creator

Kimetsu
>>153159760

I wanted to add something but they already did it so yeah same, read the posts, stfu and wait, me too I want the rest but it's the life

rizqiefajar

I personally like Toga. But yeah after watching the whole series the second time, I also do feel like there were not enough scenes with Toga and Ochako prior to this for more buildup. The Todoroki family arc ended in such a satisfying way because of so much buildup throughout the series to the point where we are very attached to those characters.

Kimetsu
>>153149456

Unable to feel for Toga ? Like what you expected him to cry for her ?

Abigail Jerry

Can’t believe we are here 🔥 MHA is amazing

nic ˚୨୧⋆｡
>>153149456

@kimetsu no, i mean that he is unable to fully comprehend the message of toga’s character because he hasn’t paid full attention to her backstory, and therefore he feels nothing for her fate.

tobbs

i think the reason you cant feel for toga is because her story is a partly a metaphor for being gay lol. like its not crazy you wouldn't catch on to that since lots of ppl don't but her story means a lot and was very emotional for a ton of people who relate to her struggles. (even if they are dramatized to fit into a superhuman setting lmao)

LAdiabeto

Final Season will probably have around 12 episodes

Raphanguille

At the end it wasn't just a regular All Might poster but actually the card that Bakugo wanted All Might to sign, the blood is Bakugo's to

SharableCarcass

Hope it actually is the final season, unlike Attack on Titan

Martin Fink

Theoretically speaking Horikoshi left a door open for something else after season 8. It could be another movie or mini project or something but there is potential there. They could also animate Vigilantes.

DevilRanger

You've always been the best reaction to me. But I still want to say the truth There is no battle, no multiple people talking at the same time, and just simple dialogue, you can still ignore that Toga has to give all the blood to her and will die. It’s no wonder that you ignore a lot of things and you don’t understand some things. Sometimes you are eager to show reactions but ignore the basics dialogue

원 지

I understand that the Toga and Uraraka scene doesn't touch your heart, but I was kind of sad. I don't know that Toga was psycho from the beginning

Elfe Carter

When can we expect the 3rd movie?

Arkan Matlub
>>153188888

They got enough for 8 episodes so not sure how they can drag it to 12. We’ll see!

LAdiabeto
>>153188888

I was just making a random guess haha. I didn't read the manga so don't rly have a accurate guess 😅

danni

The reason why a lot of ppl in the comments sound silly to me is cuz they wanted him to have some sad reaction which is just not like him at all lol. He’s an acting reactor…we know that…Not saying prewatched, but he acts in a way that guarantees high views. Its kinda sad but personally I think we should blame Twitch 🗣️

V STAN

I liked his reactions to season 1-4 but from then on the horrible subtitles which led to misunderstandings, the constant talking over the dialogue which also led to not understanding certain plot points or situations really dulled his MHA reactions for me...but then again it's a three dollar patreon for his reactions, I got what I payed for. If other reactors are like decent food then he's McDonald's during midnight

Daemon TLH
>>153207913

not sad reaction , but atleast to show a little empathy or somethin , but i definitely agree on blamin twitch

Mr Bubbles1127

Yeah, this show is a 10/10 for me man. I love your reactions Nick. I also agree with you, I can understand Toga but it is hard to fully sympathize with her. I was still very nice to have a resolution to her story. I tell you what though. I did not see All Might coming back to the fight in a suit that puts ironman to shame. I love this show! I can't wait for the next season, and to watch it with you.

ShadowSP40

plz watch the 3 rd movie

Rina

I can get u not caring for Toga but I think you definitely don't understand her. She never ate or killed the bird lmfaooo, she was telling the truth last ep that it was alrdy hurt/dead, she found the bird cute (as a toddler does) and drank its blood cuz that's her nature, her quirk makes her have a craving for blood. The point of Toga's character just like the others in LOV is how society failed to properly nurture them. Toga's parents and everyone around her berated her for having instincts no one else did, villainized it, did not help her understand herself or how her quirk affected her and forced her into a corner where she felt she had nothing and felt jealous. She even felt she lost her identity because she pushed it all down to appear "normal" until she couldn't take it anymore. She could've turned out many different ways, like she had said this episode, if she had experienced what Ochako gave her sooner, maybe she wouldn't have had so much murderous intent. I think Toga is just as tragic as everyone else in the LOV, they all deserved much better.

Chris Gama

This season was hype, way too much! Know what I love about My Hero in terms of production, it never fell off. Sure its not a weekly series like old school Naruto or Bleach where they had to do "cheap" episodes to pad out the year of production. But like this series looks fantastic from beginning to end! Seven seasons of consistently great art and animation. Is it as pretty as say, Attack on Titan, no but its got its own style to it, very shonen comic-like. I can't wait till the My Hero Acadamia: Final Season, part 1, part 2, Final Season Final Part, and then My Hero Acadamia The Last, and My Hero Acadamia Epilogue Parts 1, 2, and 3, and then My Boruto Acadamia!!

Anaya20

Nick didn't understand Toga's character and that's a shame but can't expect someone who stops reading the damn captions to make a sexual joke and miss plot to understand. She didn't kill the damn bird ffs

Anaya20
>>153194394

Vigilantes is already confirmed for an anime so that's something to look forward to

Kimetsu
>>153242657

Can you blame him ? Is a child not suppose to lie to his parents when he did something wrong to not get punished ? Me too I thought she did it because she's fucked up, and don't defend this, she is crazy SHE LIKE SUCKING BLOOD, it's just his parents and the society that didn't help her getting better but in the opposite it was worst

Nirus Bucur

Let`s have a moment of silence to remeber the times when nick actually used to pay attention to the subtitles and the shows plot without the need of making a sexual joke or a totally unncessary comment to cover up the fact that he doesn`t know shit of whats happening. 🙏🔥💯

CSR Kurapika

Good lord hype for next season

CSR Kurapika

Many pp feel diffrente for toga , yes. But i dont understand y pp are mad .... just dont watch ....

Yurikwon

time to watch movie world heroes mission???

Mels

Bro, how do you get Shigaraki but not Toga? Lmao. It's basically the same thing, they were pushed to the limit because of their quirks. Shigaraki was having a hard time even before that, and everything fell apart when he got his quirk. While with Toga, she was never truly cared and understood. That's the point, she had a craving that was not normal for society but nobody ever tried to understand her. That's what Ochaco tried to do and that's why it was such a good chapter. That's essentially MHA.

Mels

Idk why I didn't notice before but All Might is actually saying the class A heroes names omg 😭😭😭😭 (my brain just interpret that as their quirks lmao). Anyways, hope the 8th season doesn't take too long, but this was definitely my fav season so far. I cried, got emotional and hype as well, it was perfect for me ❤️🥹

kyri3322

I love watching nick reaction but its sad to see he doesnt really get the whole toga story. Well i dont blame em, but its the result of not fully understanding the previous seasons because of talking about his own constant "prediction" or quick "assumption" of what the character thinking while missing the dialog for the "actual meaning". He was able to get the toya and shigaraki cus its more a cliche back story thats bad because trauma. Toga whole story with ochako is more in dept and need to pay more attention to understand. Theres ton of comments saying why he doesnt understand toga's story. So i wont be saying much here. Im just sad that we wont be able to actually see his reaction of the toga's story when he rewatch it with live and hopefully actually pay attention why things happen.

Kouzen

I didn't feel anything on Toga's scenes either

Asher Ealey
>>153307393

Very simple actually. Shigaraki’s was irreversible. No possible changes could have been made and there was no other options. For toga as terrible as her situation was 1. There was other ways she could have went and 2. What she was doing regardless of quirk was messed up. Before you come at me for saying that, I am well aware that those desires for blood were influenced by her quirk and I am also aware that the way the teach and her parents handled the situation was low of the low. But everyone else was 100% justified in labeling toga as they did. Ultimately it is the parents fault for not caring enough to see what was going on with her and get her help. But then again she is drinking blood of literally anyone and anything and actually enjoying it. So personally I 100% understand the tragedy of her story and I think she is actually one of the best written in the show. But I too didn’t really feel much sad for her while watching eps20. 21 when she died is a different story

Asher Ealey

To all the people talking about toga and how he responded, just because someone didn’t really feel that sad with the toga story doesn’t mean they didn’t understand. I personally didn’t feel very sad watching togas story until she sacrificed herself. I have multiple reasons why but it doesn’t mean that I am not acknowledging that she had a terrible experience all through childhood. It just didn’t do enough for me to have sympathy toward the stuff that followed those childhood events. Toga is one of the best written characters in the show but you can’t expect everyone to have the same response to her story

Mels
>>153307393

I mean, I get it. But you can say pretty much the same thing for every character on the league of villains (except AFO obviously). Idk, except for Toga before chapter 20, I did feel bad for almost all of them, mainly Toya and Shigaraki. Not saying that they deserve redemption, but I do get they're tormented characters. I don't know, I'm not personally attached to Toga or anything but I did feel bad for her. She had a good chapter and I'm also satisfied with her ending.

Cyrill Attakpah

when i read it in the manga i was like "ok this is awesome" but i wasnt crying for the crazy girl who expresses her love via stabbing

Daemon TLH
>>153392613

yeah but if you’ve been watching nick for a long time , then you’d know how he is , but hey das why i learned to stop expectin him to react a certain way , he didn’t really pay attention anyway so of course he wouldn’t understand it , it’s that simple 😂

Daemon TLH
>>153253026

i thought i was the only one who noticed , that shit is mad cringe n very man-childish

Fake HSGO

At the end... that wasn't a poster... that was the Bakugo's card of All Might... That one he wants All Might to sign

Kuso

The preview for next season with the all might card was not what you thought it was. It had nothing to do with all might......

Bekk96

Hahahah i still remember in the early season nick thought MHA was like a sunny and happy type of shonen anime

Yurikwon

Nick, thank you for reacting this show, I like your every reaction even I noticed that sometimes you missing the detail but It's okay, I'm enjoy it! MHA is my favorite anime but irl I don't have friends to sharing about my excitement about this show that's why I love watching reaction videos and I'm ended here, rewatch MHA from season 1 in this channel I'm glad to paid your channel, it's my first time using patreon tbh I'll be back when season 8 out! Stay healthy ✨️

Popcorn

6:09 Reading the manga made me little emotional, and watching the episode made me a little teary-eyed. (The previous one)

chim shimi

the thing about toga is that she's not a born psychopath, she literally only wanted to suck blood and when she was a kid, she only suck blood from an already existing wound. she also have asked why to her parents, but her parents never cared to understand her or her quirk, never cared to explain to toga even tho she desperately asked why and was so confused. the reason why toga ended up the way that she did is mostly because of her parents so that's why i really felt sad for toga because this and the previous episode really show how toga could've been saved, how toga's heart is simply misguided

chim shimi
>>153307393

I don't get how you can it was irreversible for shigaraki and it's not for toga. like both of them did messed up thing, shigaraki incident in that house may be an accident but you could argue that he could have choose to not succumb to evil after that, like he could have choose to go to the police himself instead of being angry at the society for ignoring him
