The name of the pink kimono guy is shunsui kyoraku. For context that was revealed in the soul society arc, him and jushiro(the white haired captain fighting the little girl), were directly taught by yammammoto and were the first to become captains. Also it's important to remember that jushiro has an illness.

Hmm, I like the fact that you are enjoying Bleach, but pin pointing the sillyness/ goofyness in Bleach at some fight for couple of mins and saying it sucks while having that annoyed face on you, ruins my mood a little (not saying you can´t criticize it, but just don´t wanna hear it every ep). As someone who watched all of the Big 3, I think that all of them are goffy in the same way. What I am trying to say is there are alot of fight in the big 3 with lots of charakters and some of them will be very serious while others while be goffy as you should know by now so just be mentally PREPARED or EXPECT that some fights will match the charakters vibe in a fight. But TRUST me when something has to be serious in Bleach that it is, just like Ichigo vs Grimmjow or Ulquiorra. PS Keep going overall was still a good reaction.

It was said that toshiro has the most potential of the captains and shunsui said that in maybe 100 or so years toshiro could surpass him so that just shows the gap in power, soi don is one of the weaker ones

People often miss the complexity of Bleach and take it face value. Naruto is amazing, but Bleach doesn’t have Naruto level plot holes, and a coherent storytelling that can be more applied in the real life. The concept of knowing oneself to unlock its full potential.

had to skip through some of the Omaeda scenes because he is so goddamn annoying. And having the way more interesting Starrk fights cut between it was unfortunate. But the next to episodes will be way better.

People often do mistake how underrated Bleach is (the anime tbf). The manga is supreme in presentation, writing and extra content to make the story feel very relatable.
