Yeah that's gonna be a no for me dawg. The magic cathartic feeling after Naruto returns to the village is the greatest moment in the series. The war arc you can start to see them get very lazy with drawing the Rinnegan too. The whole Pain arc that shit was gleaming. The War Arc is just too drawn out, has multiple weird plot issues and is absolutely oozing with filler overload.

regardless of how you view the writing i’ve rewatched the war arc maybe 6 times and the pain arc once or twice, just expressing my opinion. love all the payoffs in the war arc bit i understand your problems with it. Madara and Obito are also two of my favourite characters in the show so it definitely adds to the war arc for me
