i wanna say the first episode was a solid 9/10. the reason is that they cut some scenes from the manhwa, other than that it was great. and the funny part is that this is just the prelude, a lil warmup for what’s to come. so fuckin excited cause i read the manhwa twice at this point

forgot to mention that this anime is gonna be straight and pure aura. literally coolest and coldest moments ever. the lore does exist but it’s not that deep so the audience can simply enjoy it at its fullest.

It’s like Demon Slayer, having a simple story that maximizes hype isn’t a bad thing. All that matters is the entertainment it provides. A show that relies on sick fights with great animation and music can be a better show than one with a deep story and themes if it‘s simply more enjoyable.

I've seen already the second episode at the film, and it was even better than this first one, even more epic and AMAZING action. If they keep up with this level, this season might be the best season from Solo Leveling by far.

I am also a person that read the manhwa multiple times (4 times and going to the 5th one right now), I'm SO FUCKING HAPPY with this new season.

Yup. I think I still like the manwha more over the anime. The anime is still good, but the pacing is just a little too fast. I would've liked it if it took a little more time to set up to the action, that way it feels more satisfying to see Jin Woo actually surprise ppl with his powers like it did in the manwha for me
