Bro why are you going into the arc with the mindset that it’s bad or something, you’re trying to figure out which of the 6 scenes is the worst out of all of them and you keep talking about pacing even though it is good now and you said you would only talk about it when you start noticing it getting worse. Just enjoy the story bro you don’t need to rush it, trust me you will wish there were more episodes when you catch up.

Let's be real, most of the people recommending One Pace are not real OP fans. I think the main reason why they're recommending it, is cause they want Nick to hurry up and react to other anime series. It's like they're trying to One Pace Nick by having him One Pace OP. If life had a fast forward button, I bet many impatient people would abuse it and later regret that they were so occupied with getting to their destination that they forgot to enjoy the journey. It baffles me how he allows himself to be easily influence by chat trolls when he's supposed to be the influencer. Let's just enjoy the adventures and stop focusing on the pacing. >>

Dogshit take. One Pace actually does justice to Oda's masterpiece unlike Toei, who just stretch it so they can squeeze every single penny they can out of it.

I wouldn't call them fake fans... but they ARE probably manga loyalists and have severe ADHD. It is literally just a fan edit that cuts canon content and scenes that had no reason to be cut other than to make it go by faster and "stick to the manga" closer.

no one here is denying the atrocious pacing issues and filler toei adds. but it's either read the manga (which nick won't ever do), watch one pace which cute canon and a lot of other stuff that didn't need to be cut, or, watch one piece and have to sit through and deal with the boring moments and bad pacing...... you can see why some people are torn on this right ?

its not about dick riding toei, its apart of the original journey. a lot of people want to see people react to the content they watched along the way to see how others view it. that is all.

luck64 - I know right, at least some people can comprehend what I'm saying. Appreciate your comment. But looks like I struck a nerve with some of the One Pace trolls with the truth lol. Just saying just cause some of them have the attention span of a goldfish. Doesn't mean they should force One Pace on others.

Was anyone else getting EXTREMELY annoyed that he kept insisting Fujitora was Kanjuro? They kept saying they were going there to save him, and never made mention of him being blind, so idk where that came from

I respect your opinion and I'm happy that you enjoy this series in it's original form, but ultimately the way Toei adapts the series is unfaithful to the manga and ruins the experience alot for so many people. Pacing isn't just about "saving time", it's about the experience being more enjoyable. if you've seen one pace or the comparisons between it and the original, you would know that nothing significant is removed, only padding that's added to fill out time so that Toei wouldn't catch up to the manga, it's not important and it doesn't add anything to the series. Toei knows this as well, it's the reason why their fishman island remake is better edited to improve pacing. I understand you love One Piece and I do to, but nobody is "Forcing One Pace", on anyone, they're recommending it because it's essentially a remastered version of the show. Just like if you were recommending your friend a game, of course it's better they play the remastered version for a better experience. Not to mention One Pace also makes art fixes in situations where Toei made errors, such as scenes in Skypiea where they forgot to add Enel's drums, and also removes censorship in scenes where Toei removed the blood. It's a more faithful adaptation of Oda's masterpiece. I urge you to rewatch some of your favourite arcs on one pace and genuinely try and be unbiased and tell me if you feel like anything is missing

Uh no. When I first saw Fujitora I thought that it could have been Kanjuro, characters in shows famously leave important information like that out-- it's also very possible for Kanjuro to have been blinded while Kin was away from him so its a logical thought to have. I really wish people would stop complaining about shit like this. It's always either that Nick is bad at predicting things and gets it wrong or he is 110% accurate and then people say he prewatched... pick a lane.
