You can see that the overall animation quality is a bit lower than ep 6. But even when it's lower, it's still amazing. Ep 6 was clearly set up to be a very important fight

I mean Onepunchman season one has better actions scenes, 1-3 AOT has better scenes, and he has seen them...It's enough to just open YouTube, search for Levy vs Kenny, and see that in absolutely every aspect, this one scene alone >>>> any scene from Solo Leveling. Even in Frieren, which he's watching right now, there are scenes that are better directed, more detailed in animation, with smoother and sharper movements and action. And that's not even an action anime… I don't know, but the idolization of Solo Leveling seems really strange to me. I get that he hasn't seen Ufotable's work, but he's definitely seen the ones I mentioned above. And if he (or anyone else) sincerely believes that the action in Solo Leveling is better—well, then I have nothing to do 😅 But that would be really weird in my opinion

Animation gave me Uzui vs Gyutaro vibes. This wasn’t even the highlight of the season either. On that note we’re also getting the demon slayer movie this year so we eating good with 2025 animation 🙏

What grabbed many people was the action but at first it was the art on the Manhwa. Every week the art got better. Fully colored. And the action backed it up. A manwga where me and my friends read it and it made you sweat. Solo leveling is king for action manwha and now taking the crown for action anime. This animal is so much better than I ever thought possible after that boring and mid season 1.

Read the manhwa and all they’re really doing is speeding thru a bit which has them cutting minor things. Honestly it makes it more enjoyable imo. They don’t get that you can read more boring parts of a manhwa much faster than if it were being shown on a screen

I mean I brought the animes that he already seen for my examples to compare. And the fact that 10 years old animes has better scenes also prove my point XD. I do believe current Solo Leveling is extremely good, but definitely not THE best. That's just what comes to mind at first glance. If you dig deeper, I’m sure you could find even more examples. I wouldn’t have even said anything if it weren’t for comments like "Why watch anything else?", "Solo Leveling is monopolizing the action anime genre", "I would hate to be an action anime in 2025." Bruh, we’re literally getting a Demon Slayer movie in 2025 that has considerably better animation quality—come on, lol.

I guess my perception is kind of different. For me, episode 6 is way smoother and more readable overall. Some scenes in ep 8 are definitely incredible, but some parts lack in-between frames and have poor readability in terms of choreography.

I guess you can like this animation style more but the pure sakuga animation from wano episodes like 1062 is better and others like in egghead are better and more visible to me. yeah, tbh i think its best to see it as just another retelling of the story, because thats what it is. the manhwa had so much more detail with the system but the anime has cut most of it out, but it works and is very good.

it depends on what type of action one likes, just cause the animation is better does not mean the fight is better. I prefer Ep 11 of S1 over any of the fights u mentioned.
