The plot twist of Hiyori screwing over those old men and taking their money just to give it to Denjiro who would then run around at night spreading their money to the poor towns is just so damn good. One of my favourites in the series. When Kyoshiro is first introduced he falls asleep while talking. Oda set it up from the beginning lmao. Absolutely genius.

Genuinely, go all the way back to Dressrosa and watch everything Kanjuro does. He never helps. Whenever he does, it's always some shitty thing. There are so many hints. Pretty sure he even uses his non-dominant hand to draw, but when he's first shown in Dressrosa he is holding food in his dominant hand, etc. There's so much.

I kinda feel the opposite about Ashura. I think he is one of the coolest of the retainers. He is fat and lays down on his cool bull mount, yet can get the better of someone like Jack, who has a billion berry bounty. I think that's hilarious. Also he was an actual opponent for Oden at one point before he joined him. I feel like you can't sleep on him.
