I know he's already seen it.. but he hasn't seen it revealed in the anime nor has he seen what luffy can do in that form, and there are other power ups the straw hats get that haven't been shown yet that are in the movie. it would just kinda be weird for his first true introduction to that form to be in the movie and not the anime. PLUS film z, gold, and stampede should have been watched first tbh

If you want to watch the movies in chronological order, I highly recommend watching Film Z next. The best movie imo :)

For me, one piece is the best anime but I don't really like Usopp. lol but He likes one piece after Vinland Saga and aot and has said that it will not change, so it is definitely top 3

Film red should be watched after episode 1088. The movie spoils multiple things before 1089, not just gear 5.
