Man, it must be so exhausting having to amp up your emotions and reactions, borderline faking it, for these popular shonen series, especially on the days when you might not feel up to it. Because you know thats what the crazy fans expect and would go up in arms, if you didnt lose your mind during those scenes... The only thing about g5 that dissappoints me is that luffy cant take a fight serious... I know hes a gooflord, but it looks like luffy doesnt do any damage. I know thats not true but it looks like that. i wish we could see a luffy like in the sabaody archipel but in g5. that would be nice.

Read my comment again, I want him to be serious not goofy... And i said i know thats the character behind nika, but no, with kaido he wasnt really serious. And yes i said hes is doing dmg, but it look like he doesnt. What i mean is look at the first punch against Lucci. He stood up like it was nothing and transforms into his form... Not even blood. I feel like this punch was just fanservice.

Idk, to me it feels very fresh. Think about literaly every anime with overly strong main characters, sure its cool to see naruto launch some insane rasengan or jin woo pull off some insane shit, but atitude wise its all the same they get hyper focused and the anime makes it look cool. But with G5 its different, being stupid and funny is the whole point, he's overpowered like the rest of other protagonists from other show, but instead of the usual cool shit we instead get funny, ridiculous, original absurdity that lw grin and laugh at because the attacks work even though it doesn't make any sense. The originality of Oda's One Piece is why its so popular, and why it draws everyone in

Yeah you all right, but ive read the manga and in a special situation in egghead, he is still stupid and funny in a very very serious situation. Maybe you guys know what i mean. Idk maybe im overreacting. its just that what disappoints me a bit. but overall i love one piece.

To be fair Luffy was always stronger than Lucci. Last time they fought Luffy had been running around an entire day fighting, used gear 2nd and 3rd, and fought Blueno. While Lucci was fully rested, also until Franky showed up Luffy was just fighting to get past him to get to Robin so he wasn't even serious.
