Check out Dungeon Meshi after you finish Frieren, they give the same amazing fantasy and adventurous vibe in some different ways. Animation is also insanely lively and smooth. It's my 2nd most favorite fantasy anime in a few recent years just after Frieren.

hey nick, don't worry too much about missing a day or a week. especially with your content, its important for you to be in the headspace that you want to be in when making it and putting things out. I dont mind at all waiting a little longer for another frieren upload, enjoy it when you feel ready for it! dont rush yourself just to stick to a schedule if it means youll get less out of the series :)

It's really impressive how consistently smooth and beautiful the action animation is. It kinda blew my mind the first time watching.

This is an interesting topic, so lets try taking another perspective. I normal work week in most countries is 35-40 hours. According to the schedule there is around 3-5hours a week. But there is also all the YT videoes, quizzes, music and other funny stuff. Then you can take into account that most anime reactions is edited from streams, so something is removed for a better experience. Took me an hour to calculate and Nick works around 20-21hours a week, but only if he does not edit or make his own thumbnails. BUT we dont know whats going on behind the scenes like his set-up is good to go, or using time to fight copyright claims and so on. My conclusion is there is SO much to being a content reactor, and compared to other content reactors, Nick is doing more then most. Sure he gets behind sometimes, but other times he gives us 2-5 episodes when he normally do 1 episode. And sure he could be better at informing us when he gets behind, but compared to other content reactors, Nick is the best by faar, at communicating information. Is it perfect? no, but he knows that, and have said he wanna do better. Think back 12month and see how much better things are now :) I apologies for blabbering so much, but i do like a good debat :p

TBH, you are just getting burn-out doing "over-reactions", exaggerating and destroying your voice for example that you don't usually do in RL. Man, I'm just here for a genuine human reaction. I'm not paying you just and only "$3" to over-exert and hurt yourself. Just react like anyone of us would, feel free to become emotionless or no reaction on things that you don't like or don't understand. That is normal and genuine. See "Starwars Theory" reaction videos for example. Just like watching a series with your emotionless/reactionless introvert buddy that will start tearing-up out of nowhere, and that is ok.

What are y'all's thoughts on the on going debate between Frieren and Solo Leveling winning Anime of the Year? Which one's deserving of the title? I say Frieren. The animation, story, characters, and even soundtracks are god tier. SL is great but to say it's better than Frieren is pure bs.

Solo Leveling's writing is low tier compared to Frieren. If we're talking about the full package, Frieren is better. But a lot of anime fans tend to gravitate towards less "boring" anime with fantastic action scenes, so I wouldn't be surprised if many claims that SL is better. I enjoyed both, but I like Frieren way better.

I loved frieren from the start. I just started solo leveling and would have stopped after 4 episodes, if my wife wouldnt want me to watch it. U am now episodes 8 and it starts to get interesting. Frieren is No 1

I would rather he wait and genuinely enjoy the show than watch it at times he doesnt want to, I do the same and wait sometimes months before picking a show back up even when I like it a lot, bc I want to properly enjoy something if its good.

For shows like One Piece, Bleach, Naruto etc. some of the reactions are definitely fake and I'm not saying this to shit on Nick but c'mon ain nobody gonna feel genuinely hyped for watching the same show for the 1000th time for smaller shows that the majority of his audience isn't really interested in like 86 and Frieren I think he gives his genuine reaction because there's no pressure, "nobody" cares about those shows and it wouldn't lose him subscribers even if he just sat there silently for 23 minutes
