Usually I say only watch the Manga Canon episodes, but the first arc is actually significant for the story as a whole - I won't give any spoilers, but trust us on this one. After episode 15, literally don't pay any attention to the Anime Canon eps at all.

people just like to hate. There are a lot of cool molents in this arc you are about skip. In the future there are also gonna be a lot more arcs that give a lot of good vcontext to manga arcs. Because manga arcs are so bland because of the manga being monthly.
