Delicious in Dungeon! My 2nd most favorite fantasy show recently after Frieren. Great advanturous vibe, very great characters and designs, the anime really funny, silly and extremely serious at the same time. This anime has one of the best dungeon designs ever, all the monsters, ecosystem there make sense. And animation is just banging hard. It’s not those flashy anime with tons of fx, just pure smooth and amazing animation.

I know its probably never ever going to get voted for so its never going to happen but I'm going to say it anyways ▶️➡️VIOLET EVERGARDEN⬅️◀️ And if You're not sure on voting for this show Let me sell this anime to you. Let me pitch it to you. 1. It has 1 season and It's short it's like 12 or 13 episodes long. So if he watches this anime, he can finish it quick and move on to the next show very fast. 2. The story the anime has finished. It's a completed series. So there's no waiting for another season It's already done. 3. This show has some of the most stunning beautiful detailed animation You will ever see. if you thought the animation in FRIEREN was amazing or beautiful or detailed. This show will blow your socks off even more. 4. The character progression in this show is amazing from where the character starts off. In episode one to where the character finishes in episode 12 or 13 is amazing. I don't think you will find another show. That has more character progression in this short of a span of only 12 to 13 episodes. 5. And if you like shows that are more grounded in reality, this is the show for you. This show does a fantastic job, a very realistic job at showing what it's like going from a soldier taking orders to a civilian, adjusting to regular everyday life and having a hard time re adjusting to society. There that's everything I had to say about the show. That's my pitch to you. If you like the description I gave and you're interested in Nick potentially watching this show. I'll give solo levelling this; it's better than SAO ever will be, and it's characters are at least kind of more than one dimensional, but SAO is just a worse version of SL with way more SA and way less animation power. How is assassination classroom a snooz fest I would consider it to be a classic at this point And I watched it like 3 years ago. I remember when it came out and people wouldn't shut up about it. And how great it was. And the ending, the ending is one of the best in all of anime. For me. Personally it's a top 20 anime's of all time I'm sure most other people wouldn't put it that high they would probably put it somewhere in the top 30 to top 50, but it's great. Now for me personally. What are you on about? I have seen over 800 different anime. And sword art online is in my top 100. And I think I have really good taste in anime. My number one anime of all time is Violet evergarden. My number 2, if we're counting movies is a silent voice. My number 3 is Frieren. My number 4 is anohana and my number 5 is your lie in April. My Number 6 is assassination classroom because it actually stuck the landing and actually had a good ending and didn't dirf face first which 98% of all other anime mess up. And you want to know what my opinion on S.A.O is probably going to piss off. People who hate S.A.O and people who like S.A.O. But in my opinion, season, one of S.A.O was the worst season. It was the weakest season. I didn't like how they skipped floors. I thought that was lazy. I wanted to see them. Move up floor by floor not go from floor 1 to floor 10 to floor 25 to floor 50 to floor 75 I wanted to see them go in order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and so on. I liked the the second season i liked Gun Gail online and I liked the second half of the Gun Gail online season where the girl was dying and she passed on her sword skill to asuna and when she died. I cried because I was emotionally attached to her character. That means you did something right If you get me to cry over a fictional character. And it just got better from there all of alicization was the best part of S.A.O by far hands down not even a question The animation, the sound design, the plot, the anticipation. I'm so sick of people shitting on S.A.O and then Dick riding solo leveling. They're literally the same show ok maybe not exactly the same there are slight differences. Except sword art online line is slightly better and it has a better plot and better characters. And the animation in the later season's of S.A.O is right behind the animation quality of solo leveling It's not quite as good but it's dam close.

I don't dick ride either. They're both trash, but solo levelling has it's production and lack of sexual assault that puts it a league above SAO. The characters are slightly, but only slightly better, and it brings it up to a mid show as opposed to a bad show like SAO is. SPOILERS for sao Firstly, SAO has always had pacing issues, so the pacing issues in season one carry over. The thing that makes season one interesting is that it's believable that Kirito is good at the game, and the story gives him good reasoning for his skill (he was in the beta test) There are actually real stakes for a while, or at least the illusion of them, as this show tended to kill off characters. Here's the problem; the characters that die in SAO are introduced JUST to die. They don't do anything besides be a plot device, and have no personality despite the ones that help them (usually her) die sadder. The Yuki thing to me felt like a carbon copy of season 1's sacchi. A group of players meet a main character, main character joins their guild, there's one really important girl and the rest are meaningless drawings. Main character teaches main girl to have fun and then they die, and main character experiences growth of some sort. With the sacchi event I'd say it was pretty bad, because kirito didn't grow, he just got edgier. The Mothers Rosario arc I'm not fully against, because Asuna could use the growth after the disaster that was arc 2. HOW ARE YOU GONNA TAKE ASUNA, the most interesting and the best character from the whole show, someone who actually feels strong and is ON PAR with kirito, and turn her into a fucking damsel waiting for the god himself to come save her?? All while an ugly bastard molests her MORE THAN ONCE in ONE season, ON CAMERA. In frankly unnecessary and inappropriate detail. This is an atrocious and irresponsible choice and to make the viewer have to sit through two rape scenes in one season, among alot of just weird, sexual harrassment? And WHY does the writer only know how to make ONE type of villain? Creepy guy who molests girls. Is there NOT allowed to be a single other male character in the cast who is likeable? Even klein, the one who has a BIT of a personality is shunned by every single girl for the blank slate that is the MC. Gun gale suffers the exact same issue, the main villain is Asada's rapist friend. ANOTHER sexual assault scene, by the way. If we're keeping track, we're on three rape scenes in 36 episodes, four if you count the weird shit silica (a minor) went through with the tentacle monsters. Asada is a nothing character with an attempt at trauma, but the trauma is so poorly written that it makes no sense. She's a savage of a sniper, the best in the game, she trickshots a guy with a minigun and one leg. Is that PTSD?? Her trauma is a plot device, and it's only around whenever it needs to move the plot forward. The whole fingergun thing is really fucking stupid Gun gale to me is the worst example of kirito being a god. He is for NO reason, the most overpowered at this point. The first thing he does after meeting Asada to make some money, is to beat a game that NOBODY has ever beaten, in which you have to touch the shooter. HOW the hell did he beat it on his FIRST try after nobody has EVER beaten it?? and his reasoning was that he was just PREDICTING WHERE THE BULLET LINES WOULD BE???? THEN he picks the one lightsaber that apparently nobody uses even though it's a fucking LIGHTSABER, it one shot kills, and it cuts through bullets, as if the energy sword isn't the most op weapon in halo WITHOUT cutting bullets. Up against pro gamers, he picks the one weapon that's OP, and beats the TOP players in a game he has never ever played, sometimes dodging bullets by STANDING STILL AND NOT DOING ANYTHING. And all of this is for one reason; to make sinon fall for kirito more. This stupid idea of "strength" that kirito has that Sinon wants from him. And after gun gale, sinon will go back to being a nothing character with no personality and constant ass shots. NOW I WANNA TALK ABOUT YUI. this is mother's basement's point, but it's a good one. SHE SHOULD NOT BE ALIVE. Yui was DELETED from the game, but by some bullshit, kirito managed to save her, at a console he's never used before, in a coding language he's never seen before, on a system that is so innovative that it's the first of it's kind, under the cardinal system, which he is learning to write in IN REAL TIME, and in the ten seconds he has to write whatever shit he writes, somehow he's able to save yui. HOW. THIS is the moment where NARRATIVELY, the show says "fuck kirito, he's god now." HE'S SIXTEEN. what the show is also saying is "yui is cute, so we don't want to kill her off". Do you see how bad that is for the stakes of the show? There will never be a cute character that isn't introduced JUST to die, that the writers will be willing to kill off. EVER. Even when we see asuna die later, SOMEHOW they still live, even more reinforcing the lack of spine that the writers have. I could go on and on and on about the other problems, inconsistencies, the horrible UI of the games, the bad game design, the fact that in ordinal scale they were moving like SUPERHUMANS despite it being AR, the stupid "the real world and the virtual world are the same" bit, but this comment is already so long.

You know I do agree on some. Of the points you're making, but there's also points that I disagree on like the villains. The villains are actually pieces of shit in the show. I like that they are pieces of shit I like that they are so bad that we all collectively just actually want them to fucking die because they're just that bad a lot of time anime villains. They feel like Thanos in The Avengers movie. In the comics Thanos kills for the sake of killing. He's just a bad person he's a piece of shit. but in the movies. He's wiping out half the population so that the other half can thrive. Is it still bad? Yes, but he has good intentions. That doesn't feel like a good villain. Villains are bad for the sake of being bad. They're just shit, people and that's what these villains are. They're pieces of shit. Now I do agree and have the same complaint that they're all the same kind of bad, but I can look past it because at the end of the day, there villains and they're so bad that we just want them to fucking die. And as for the ass part and the ass showing of multiple characters, it's called fan service a lot of anime do it. You can't complain about it in one show and not complain about it all the others that do it to Like fire force for example. And as for the plot armor and the characters pulling off bull shit out of nowhere. Come on, man, really I can't tell you how many hundreds of other anime's I have seen were Characters do the exact same thing and plot armor kicks in out of nowhere to save their ass and people don't complain about it. It is hypocritical to complain about it in S.A.O and then not complain about it in the hundreds of other anime that do the exact same thing. At the end of the day is S.A.O perfect No. could it be better Yes, absolutely. Are there plot holes Yeah, a lot of shows and anime have plot holes. Is it entertaining to watch absolutely And that's what matters. Now, do I want S.A.O to win this poll No I want violet evergarden to win because Violet evergarden is goated. It is the greatest anime of all time in my opinion, It is highly underrated and not enough people have watched it And more people need to see it and I love it.

Definitely Sword Art Online. Giving it a rewatch right now and honestly, yes it has cheesy cringe moments but apart from that it is so peak. I seriously think most people hate SAO just because it is popular to hate on it. The writing is not spectacular but man some parts of this story are genuinely amazing and pretty emotional. And of course, the action is unbelievably hype. There are definitely some slow laidback episodes though which would't really bring in the big views but for patreon its perfectly fine.

I highly doubt he would drop assassination classroom. I remember when it came out and that's all anybody would talk about was assassination classroom and how good it was and I didn't watch It for years. I finally watched it 3 years ago and I regret putting it off for so long. Nick is gonna love it. And and it's got objectively a top 5 ending of all time in anime. Do you know how many shows, anime, movies like have a good story all the way through and then they just freaking dirf it at the end, they do not stick the landing. Also, it's objectively a top 30 anime of all time, without question.
