I've heard people (mostly teens) saying SL is better and it's fucking outrageous. And it's very believable that some would have that opinion. SL is very good but it's also super glazed.

The use of flashbacks in Frieren has to be the best I've ever seen in any media. It is so seamless and every single ones adds up to the climax of each episode. The whole idea of Frieren having a new journey in which she reflects upon her past with new eyes is sooo good.

Yes and I agree but I'm still scared SL might win because it has tapped into mainstream audience even more than Frieren. I'd say that us veterans have all most likely seen Frieren and know it's better but mainstream media is so much bigger that many will vote who haven't seen Frieren at all.
