So the explanation about the visualization aspect and Ubel is that she can cut anything she think she can cut as in the intrinsic belief and live experience that the thing as for basic, pure property to be able to be cut no matter the added subsequent properties, like Clothes and Hair , as for material and concept that don't "feel" cut-able have been seen / experienced as cut-able such as armor or spell-shield won't be Cut just brilliant , she knows it's imbued with defense magic and stuff but it doesn't matter because she trust so much her instinctive feeling that it overlap it , she's basically like , NAH, IMMA DO MY OWN THING XD

Frieren saying it was 80 years since she used the spell she hit Fern with means she used it in battle against the Demon King, which says a lot. After the Spiegel was defeated as well, we saw the remnants of the battles vs the other replicas. Fern's replica vs Methode actually seemed to be quite a ferocious 1v1 based on the damage, but Methode wasn't seriously injured. Meaning she's probably pretty evenly matched vs Fern, so she's quite strong, since it was one on one. On the other hand, Denken's replica was fighting 3 mages (Wirbel, Ehre and Scharf), and all 3 of them were injured and wiped out of mana, meaning Denken very likely could win the 1v3. Cool details

Ubël can't cut everything, just the things SHE perceives as being able to cut so even though the immovable cloak and Senses hair are covered in numerous defenses as Ubël fights by instinct rather than logic she just sees them as fabric and hair so in her mind her spell can cut through those with increble ease.

Ubël stands zero chance with her spell against someone like Frieren or Fern whos main defense is magic barriers as Ubël cannot see herself cutting through those but with the magic baked into things that are meant to be cut she becomes your worst nightmare. Obviously she has more in her arsenal which makes her on par with some of the heavy hitters but her signature magic is extremely situational. Magic in Frieren is all about rock-paper-scissors where choosing your approach determines the outcome sometimes completely over ruling who was more powerful.

"I'm not recognizing this attack as an spell" is one one the most intriguing lines of the series thus far. Makes you wonder how strong Frieren really is if the gap between them is still that huge. But it's simultaneously the biggest comlipent for Fern that the replica was forced to use it against her.

Yes, but keep in mind that the only reason the replica was forced to use it was because Frieren offered Fern that huge opening. Without that the clone was casually blocking Fern's attacks, without even needing to pay attention to her.

Honestly, I don't think I'll renew my Patreon. You talk too much. You talk constantly, especially during the more intense scenes, and you completely miss the point of the situation. You miss important dialogue and scenes that are essential for understanding. At this point, I don't think you're enjoying the show as much as you say you are, otherwise you'd be much more attentive instead of having to act like a clown.
