Bleach Calaminator

“There are two types of battles. Battles to protect lives, and Battles to protect honor” - Kaien to Rukia in Ep 160. Yet another episode that was foreshadowed and called back to. About half of this one being an anime original flashback did complete justice to Ukitake revealing why he was always sick and therefore on the sidelines awaiting his true purpose here now more than ever. Mimihagi is a sentient entity that was once the right hand of the Soul King in Bleach, and it governs stagnation and stillness. It has the ability to halt the progression of anything like ailments by attaching itself to those who request its aid. Orihime not being able to heal the Soul King and Yhwach not being able to see Mimihagi shows that the Soul King is beyond Concepts, Space and Time. Even reversing the events couldn't fix his body and Yhwach couldn't use his Almighty against him. One last thing “We’ll see each other soon” - Ukitake to Unohana, remember that line. Iykyk Bleach ain’t going nowhere as it’s here to stay.

Bleach Calaminator

Bleach TYBW Episode 29- The Dark Arm Keyword Page 1: Sōsuke Aizen “Former captain of the 5th Division of the 13 Court Guard Squads. He was expected to have a promisingly bright future, but he defected and rebelled against the Soul Society as the leader of the Arrancars. His zanpakuto is ‘Kyōka Suigetsu’ (‘Mirror Flower, Water Moon’) and possesses the ability of ‘Complete Hypnosis’, in which he controls all five senses and can force the target to misinterpret the appearance, sound, taste, feel and even smell of any object or person. He planned to invade the Soul King’s Palace to end and replace the Soul King by creating a Ōken (King’s Key)- A legendary key and crucial component in accessing the Soul King's Palace. It's created by sacrificing 100,000 souls within a concentrated spirit ground (Jūreichi), and it's specifically stated to be made from the bones of the Royal Guard, modified by the Soul King's power. The current Jūreichi in the Human World is Karakura Town and therefore wages an all-out war against the 13 Court Guard Squads in the fake Karakura town created by Kisuke Urahara, but after a fierce battle he was defeated by Substitute Soul Reaper Ichigo Kurosaki. He is currently imprisoned in the lowest level of the underground prison level 8 ‘Muken’.” Episode 29 Keyword Page 2: Mimihagi “A one-eyed, deformed, indigenous deity from the 76th district of the East Rukongai, Sakahone. (“Reverse Bone”, named after Saizō Sakahone, one of the original 13 Court Guard Squad members) Due to its shape, it is said to be the right hand and arm of the Soul King, which fell from the heavens to the Soul Society in ancient times, and is said to bring ‘blessings’ to those who offer everything but their own eyes. Ukitake's ‘Kamikake’ is a ritual in which he offers all his internal organs to Mimihagi by spreading its true power of Stagnation that resides in his body (governing his illness) to all his internal organs, and becoming a vessel for it. After successfully performing the ‘Kamikake’ ceremony, Ukitake became the Soul King's right hand himself.”

Zarrowk

First phrase of the episode and Nich realized he didn't understand at all the last poem ^^

Ilija Jako

Nick really my guy you need to pay more attention. Dude not knowing Ukitakes name just shows how much he watches Bleach without immersing himself in it. Ukitake is here almost since the beginning.

JAS

Aizen is a NaNaNa victim.

In all fairness he watches lots of anime at the same time plus other media (movies etc). Try it yourself to watch 5 anime actively and remember every detail. And on bleach he also took a pretty long break before this arc.

Señor Confused

Maybe if you READ the damn subtitles, you can "figure" it out.
