Askin: HAAAAAAA GOTTA GO Grimmjow: Why are you running, why are you running?! They really put that meme in here. Other than that, I think I speak for everyone when I say Renji vs Uryu > Ichigo Vs Uryu, they just keep stepping it up. At least he tried his best considering the disadvantages. Much like Ep 30, this one was quite the surprise but a welcome one to be sure as this entire fight was not at all in the manga, while Ichigo vs Uryu was at least 2 panels that showed only a skirmish turned into half an Ep of an anime original fight line whereas this one is completely brand new (both being only about 2 chapters equivalent to NewGen anime pacing), making a more convincing case that Uyru has truly betrayed his friends. It looks like Uryu got his get back from Renji who laid him out back in Ep 16, seems like he never let that one go when he said ‘You are a Soul Reaper I despise’, now having him laid out, truly a profound callback. Renji could’ve ended him at least twice and while it seemed like he was dead seriously trying to do so apparently he was still subconsciously holding back, however despite that he was still at a disadvantage anyways considering their environment. Needless to say this battle was also not a priority as it didn’t garner any attention since it wasn’t even in the manga to do so, yet they still delivered with this new standard cinema direction courtesy of Pierrot Films. 🙌 It’s crazy to Uryū beat Senjumaru, Ichigo and Renji in just a day. Yhwach’s blood is haxxed like a Mf cause this insane. Also, all 3 fights are anime original, so they’re seriously cooking with this adaptation like no other giving him much needed development and power progression. Next Ep is the big 400th one of the series overall for the Mad MVP.

Just to clarify. Askin may seem goofy and weak but he is one of the strongest Quincies. Also technically Renji got his powers unlocked by Ichibe so he is a little cheap too.

Nick please read/pay attention the subtitles I can feel my brain slowly cracking especially when u ask about something they already mentioned. Idk if it’s the pacing or just bleach but normally u read them more thoroughly like with HxH for example

Man imagine saying Uryus powers are lent to him and it's not his power when Yhwach technically unlocked Uryus powers lol Renji would never be at this power level either if he wasn't taken to the Soul Palace and train there. He literally learned his true bankai because of Ichibe there, otherwise he'd still be fighting with a fake bankai and unable to do shit. Talking only about Uryus powers that way is some serious favoritism lmao (Uryu didn't even go all out either)

Ishida was always pretty strong, remember when they first went into soul society, he was the only one who defeated a captain beside Ichigo and Mayiuri literally said hes a gneius and among the thousands of quincys he experimented on he was the most gifted, then he lost his power and didnt fight any crazy enemy in hueco mundo. I just wanna say that he always pretty storng even without the yhwach powerup, he was just sidelined most of the story
