The last episode, the real version of it, was amazing. Peak TTGL humor, but probably too much for the American mind which freezes every time there's nudity or even jokes about nudity somewhere. That episode was objectively well made, even if it was mainly jokes.

Just wanna add, that Gurren Lagann isn't based off of a manga. It's an original series. Although I'm fairly sure some manga adaptations of the anime exist.

I was waiting for him to finish the series to subscribe to his Patreon, but I did not remember him being so insufferable to listen to the non-stop sex jokes while also being hypocritical about episode 6 being too sexualized and every time anything even slightly lewd happens he ignores the next 2 minutes of the episode to screech "sniff that ass"
