It's sad that you ended up dropping LOTM but after how toxic the community was to you I can understand why you can't be bothered continuing it. I really hope you'll give it another chance some day as once you understand what's happening the story gets really good. The anime really should've done a slow burn approach like Frieren but instead it seems they're rushing everything to get an action sequence every episode. They're directing a mystery anime like it's a battle shonen. Instead of focusing so much on the action, they should have just had spent much more time dedicated to dialogue and Klein's inner thoughts. They chose hype and aura over the story. A complex story like LOTM with so much information to process does not work well with the approach they're going for so far. While all the information is technically there to understand the plot it's not presented in an easy manner to consume. And then the LOTM community calls everyone who doesn't understand it stupid. I've looked at some Chinese forums and have seen people say they've been getting confused when they are native speakers. Even though it has problems I just hope you'll give it another shot whether when the season is over or even if you have to rewatch the episodes and watch them in English Dub too. Because when you understand what's going on LOTM is so good.

When you watch prison school, don't watch the amazon prime version, which is the uncensored version, it covers half the screen more than half the time with a white screen (because of frequent lewd outfits and occasional nudity). i watched prison school on Internet Archive, where it's uncensored, and watchable. psyched you are reacting to it, its a really good show, while also being a first (i'm pretty sure) gooner show reaction from you, lol. i started the censored version on prime video, and had to go looking for the uncensored version on internet archive because it was impossibly annoying to have half the screen white, and thus miss some of the plot, while also missing some of the juiciest bits of anime in all existence.
