Episode hits in ways I could never feel for almost any other show. Seeing kuma run and still be thankful despite the shit lot he got in life means everything. His one hope and light in Bonney is all he needs to be thankful to be alive.

Watching Bonney break down crying at the end of the memories was my breaking point. She learned everything we did. All the details, the letters that she never got, the places he went, the people he liked, his hopes and dreams (for her), and the sum total of his life. Bonney now also knows that Kuma believed in the Strawhats, especially in Luffy. He didn't know he was channeling Nika, but at least Bonney now knows to give him the same trust. A BIG step towards god faith between Bonney and our crew. What an insanely beautiful episode.

The idea (scientifically unproven) is that the brain is "replaying" the most impactful memories of your life one last time. I can’t wait for the conclusion of the final saga, final war & revelation of the One Piece at the end to leave the biggest mark in manga history. I can’t wait for the full backstory of Luffy, Shanks, Mihawk, Rocks, Roger, Imu, Blackbeard, Dragon + the void century characters. All of these characters mark the final events that will conclude the story.

Kuma's story is so good man. Words aren't enough to describe it. Who would have thought back in Thrillerbark that a Warlord would be so integral to the plot, the way it all comes full circle is incredible.

Seeing Dragon actually care for Luffy was good although that was the only time he helped in 1100 episodes... But I also wonder what will be Dragons reaction to his dad being captured like I want a Dragon and Garp backstory

i start one piece from 2014 when Naruto ended, but this ep or before Wano ( except Zoros moments ) until now didnt get me. Kuma character with double agent its based on Itachi's life, but him protected all his familly, not only Bonney. Also, that run though his life, its like Naruto's run. The only thing i hate from Oda is his reality shit, cuz if in real world a revolutionary army have 2 like Ginny and Kuma in that army and have fate of these, they will give up entire plan to protect they re child, Bonney. Meanwhile Dragon dont give a shit for Bonney, only Sabo wanted to help Kuma back then

One Piece is definitely number one for me. Kuma's backstory is so so sad and heartwarming at the same time. The lengths he went to for his daughter...definitely a 10/10 backstory.

I’m late as hell, cause I didn’t want to watch the backstory for Kuma cause I knew I’d break down bad. Man, I’m glad I did now with my partner but my heart is just completely shattered.
