There's actually a fantastic naruto filler ep where his clones basically form a union in narutos dream.

Borutos affinity is lightning, the lightning jutsu was his own.

One detail I just noticed watching this, is that we know Naruto uses fist bumps for Ninshu, its how he connects with others (tailed beasts, killer bee). Borutos guilt is preventing him from quite literally reaching out to connect with his father, since doing so would expose the gauntlet. That what he's after in the first place too, so it feels even worse.

Yesterday I started reading Boruto manga, and it is flying. The whole chunnin exam arc is only 10 chapters and is really interesting to read. Is it the level of ‘land of waves acr’? No, if Naruto’s first arc is 9/10, it is 7.8/10 for me

Something I like is that boruto always hated being seen as the son of the hokage, but the only reason Tenten doesnt immediately call BS on his cheating was because he's the son of the hokage.

This anime take a while to pop off (the true filler does not help at all) but IMO once it gets in the swing of things, Boruto is just as good if not better than Naruto at its peak.

i know its early but ill say it now, there is a mini arc that is technically filler but its really really good, it starts episode 128 and ends on 136 i believe. Highly recommend it
