5:09 That's the original Ranma 1/2 1st opening song, I wonder how many would get the reference since it's a relatively old anime. Old but famous. There was a "remake" more recently (and not very good apparently) but with different OP songs. In Ranma, the MC changes his sex/gender if he's in contact with cold water, and he's back if it's hot water. So it looks a bit like Jiji's predicament here.

I loved the ranma 1/2 reference in the manga and I love it in the anime lol (in german dub Jiji even sings the german version hahaha) I LOVE that you appreciate this episode sm!!!
