i don't think sao is a bad show, it's just overrated. That's why it's overhated. kinda balances things out. For one in this episode I have no idea how tf kirito with one week of alfheim experience, beat the best player in the game lmao

They literally mention that all his stats and stuff transferred from SAO since it's the same game engine, honestly its more surprising that Kirito didn't steamroll him with how crazy his stats should be

I like this arc, not bc of any of the story stuff, I just like the vibe of Alfeim and how the player culture is and stuff I think its interesting. The sister stuff is weird and the story is kinda flat compared to the first half. S2 as a whole was not very good but I like season 2 bc Gun Gale is cool af and I would love to play it myself if it existed. Again story and some other things not great. I enjoy S1-S2 more as like a guilty pleasure rather than a pure cinema experience.

my head canon is that he has Top player stats but low level almost beginner gear. So his stats allow him to keep up but his gear prevents him from fully utilizing his build. My only issue with that fight is he does not have the duel wielding skill yet uses dual swords to win.

i watch a show called sword art online, i dont want a cyberpunk battle royale? if you happen to like it thats cool but NO ONE watched a show called SWORD art online because they want to see gun gameplay. the best part about the phantom bullet arc is the mystery but as a rewatcher that part is gone. i dont dislike the phantom bullet arc (id give it a 8/10) but i rate all other arcs higher. The goal of fairy dance is to save asuna which is something i care about. Also i know a lot about this franchise and i know that sugu is misunderstood by like 80% but thats a good thing, if you all liked the same stuff life would be boring

nah mothers rosario is s tier since its the most character development for the second most important character (and my favorite) of the franchise Aincrad,Mothers Rosario, Ordinal scale, War of underworld and Progressive are all s tier in my opinion Moon cradle is also awesome but unless you read the novels there is almost no content on it and unital ring i havent read so far, ill wait until its finished

Maybe dual wielding is enabled for all players but they just did not know as dual weilding is basically unheard for, but Kirito is used to dual wielding from SAO?

My thought about that is since it's the same game engine the dual wielding sword skills from SAO are there, but they were never implemented as actual skills in the menu, so since Kirito knew what the skills were and how to do them the engine recognized and did it even if it's not listed as an official skill

Yeah, I think it's way better than gun gale. Even though Alicitization looks nice and has good moments, I actually don't like it the most tbh. I prefer S1, both parts, and Mother's Rosario. But the Sao Progressive movies were peak! I think ppl didn't like just because the shift was so large, and they didn't like Asuna being in a bad spot. I'm assuming they saw it as an attack on her character, but it was written well, and it happened to others and made sense. It didn't make her weaker, because it was more based on the workings of the real world and I thought that was cool, and that the way they kept the stakes after the cool setting of the first arc was actually quite good.

Excuse you, the events of season 2 ARE relevant to seasons 3 and 4, and also one of my favourite seasons in the series. Maybe YOU find it boring, but don’t talk as though that a general fact for everyone. If you don’t want to watch his reaction to it, then that’s a you problem, have some patience and wait until he finishes season 2 then come back. Talk about rage-bait….🤦‍♀️

I must say, that I often skipped the whole GGO Arc, but later I began to enjoy it and whenever I rewatch SAO I watch the GGO Arc whole or at least some episodes, because it DOES HAVE very cool moments. Also I think Alizication is not the best, but it is cool and has parts of the season 1 feeling because it is a world where death means death you know. My biggest problem with most Arcs after Aincrad was and still is, that I do not get why I should fear Kiritos death. I agree with the second half of your comment, sounds plausible. Btw: are the progressive movies the same story as the progressive manga/ln?

The animations are so fire, the battle sequence is perfect. Waaay better than many new animes - I look at you One Punch Man, the beginning after the end. For real, Suguhas breasts have more frames than the whole OPM season 3 and tbate together
