And you’ll enjoy SAO 2 after this ends and then SAO Alicization/War of Underworld that comes after is peak, better than the very first arc imo. Also you should check out the movies. You can watch Aria of a Starless Night right now as it won’t spoil anything. You mentioned once you wanna see things from Asuna’s perspective - Well it goes through the very first 2 episodes of SAO from her perspective and the quality and production value is top notch, while adding a ton that wasn’t shown in the show.

Are you 4? You cant skip a season of a show. This show is not episodic in that sense. Things that happen in every episode have some impact on future episodes, accept for maybe the 3 episode arc after GGO. GGO is literally the most important arc in the anime in terms of lore and buildup of characters. So much of it connects to Alicization. You're just blatantly wrong. Let Nick watch the show and form his own opinions. Go away if you don't like it.

No one asked. I read the light novel and watched the anime. They are both the same "Stories" and have the same characters in each season. Your just pissing yourself at the thought of nick dropping the show and want him to rush to the season you care about the most. This kind of behavior gives average anime enjoyers a bad name. Ik this is probably obvious to most but SmartGold is a retard. There’s many important characters and plot lines that you’ll miss if you skip ANY part of sao and a lot of things won’t make sense if you go straight to Alicization. It’s true that s3 is peak and It’s one of my favorite seasons in all of anime but EVERYTHING before it is what makes it and saying that it’s just throwaway slop just isn’t true whatsoever. Gungale and its plot line is great and the Phantom Bullet arc is very heartwarming and you’re gonna love it :)
