I remember when I first watched SAO when I was in highschool, it was so satisfying when Kirito killed Sugou. That crazy and disgusting man. I also felt like you regarding Asuna, all I wanted was for them to finally reunite 😂

@Vincent S Deluca not really, all she did was die in season 1 and then in season 2 she also did nothing except speak sometimes. even in the final fight, yui just disappears lol

Without Yui Kirito literally couldn't even get to Asuna because she opened the gate. And in the future seasons she is very important aswell.

Do you guys not get how writing works? Yeah of course she was "necessary" because that's how they wrote her into the plot. But she's unnecessary because they didn't have to write it that way.

By that logic Asuna is unnecessary aswell as Kawahara could have written SAO like Solo Leveling with the MC fighting on it's own. See how that argument is stupid?

Asuna IS unnecessary though, that's the point. What did she do this whole season? And last season, before she met kirito she was actually a strong warrior until kirito comes along and she just hides behind him after that. It's like reki only knows how to write damsel women and rapist men
