Idris Naama

BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! TOP 5 EPISODES OF THE ANIME!

nyarutoru

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO FINALLY HEREEEEEEEEEE AHHHHHHHHHHH

Phyco

LETS GOOOOO

Idris Naama

Also Nich make sure to watch the 3rd Movie called "Dawn Of The Deep Soul". Its canon to the manga and a direct continuation of Season 1. If you don't watch it you'll be extremely confused when watching season 2.

Hxlo

Absolute cinema 💯💯

adiedreamer

When I watched it, tears just came naturally...

Hxlo

I just finished s2 3 days ago trust me the rest of the series is worth waiting for

Tio

Dawn of the Deep Soul, here we come...

Azariel 竜月

ah ! Nick's face fading into dismay when he reads " I'm Mitty ... " bruh

Idris Naama

The expression on his face when she said her name is Mitty...

Vinny Deluca

DAWN OF THE DEEP SOUL BABY That’s what’s next btw, the Movie “Dawn of the Deep Soul” then S2 (Golden City)

Illarion

we getting S3 next year!

Ben Lobner

now on to the movie. dawn of the deep soul it is.

bozo

Peak

Arnav Mekala

I know the mangaka, Akihito Tsukushi, works at his own pace when making the manga. He basically releases like 3 chapters a year of Made in Abyss and sometimes the chapters are really long or really short. I know that since he works at his own pace, the quality is always top tier since he isn't crunching like everyone else to meet a deadline. But man, I feel like it is gonna be years and years until we see the ending. Its is a definite certainty that One Piece will end before Made in Abyss, that is how much story we have left and how slow the manga comes out. Still appreciate all his work, this is just me venting on how I wish I could get Made in Abyss every month.

GdVortex

With the exception of the OP and ED songs, Kevin has composed every single track from all the OSTs across the series, and presumably will again for the upcoming movie next year.

Sonithy

The soundtrack is done entirely by Kevin Penkin. Joined by the unbelievable talent of tekeshi saito for the male vocals and a few more names starting in Dawn of the deep but yes Kevin THE FUCKING GOAT is the person who is responsible for every soundtrack in the series

Sonithy

I will be bawling my fucking eyes out next week I hope your ready

Andy Lyu

If you think S1 is great. The movie will make music miner like you cum from the start to finish.

0ptie

I’ve heard VOH and those vocals are just insane. I didn’t know male voice can go so high.

Zenii

notice how nanachi's house looks like mitty, her looking away and walking with reg and riko at the end signifying that shes leaving that in the past and moving on

Azariel 竜月

THE ABYSS IS SO FCKING PEAK it's SO HIGH It's UPSIDE DOWN DEPTH BEYOND COMPREHENSION

Sonithy

As a vocalist myself… he is literally he has the most incredible classical falsetto of any male singer I have ever had the pleasure to listen to

Azariel 竜月

GUYS , that mean next time it's the FCKING MOVIE ! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH OMG

Sonithy

VOH might be the most incredible lament ever recorded ngl

Sean

Kevin motherfuckin Penkin

karam jnah

the next episode you need to watch is a movie called the flower of down the other movies are just season one recaps plus some new scenes

Idris Naama

I could be remembering wrong but I'm pretty sure Kevin Penkin said that VOH is his "magnum opus" for now

Damper042

That was the ost you would have listened to in episode 1

Sonithy

Yes that and transcendence and hanezevie

Animeter

Remember we have to watch the movie "dawn of the deep soul" next week. It's basically season 1.5 of the show and continues the story right when season 1 ends. They hadn't enough manga material for a whole season, at that time. So they decided to made a movie.

Idris Naama

yeah both of those are always alternating for my #1 favorite OST from what he's made.

Sonithy

Ngl those are the apart of the tiny list of best ost of all time candidates

Ashton Laznicka

It is indeed in its own class of storytelling and visuals! Cant wait for Dawn of the Deep Soul!!

Rem Natsuki

Dude the Mitty death scene always gets me. You should look up the dub for the phenomenal voice acting performance for Nanachi’s reaction to Mitty’s death. The way she cries sounded so real 😭😭😭

Snatat

Movie time next week Dawn of the Deep Soul. It's a must watch because you'll be massively confused otherwise. It's a banger too.

Daryl Kitchen

Be sure to watch the movie before season two

Sean

Movie: Dawn of the Deep Soul, before Season 2.

Sktch

Trust me bro, it only gets better from here

rizqiefajar

It took bro too long to realize they're Nanachi & Mitty lmao. What a great episode

Vincenzo

Remember when ppl tell u that the anime is not good as the music? LOL

Barbietube

More than 20 times I've seen this anime, i still can't help but cry during Mitty's passing.

ace

this show is truly one of the peaks of this medium

RadzioxxD

10:08 Minato's voice actot 💀 From Minato to Bondrewd(This actor also voiced Griffith in Berserk 97)

kholo

Maiden Abyss is so good

RadzioxxD

Now waiting for Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul Movie. For me it's The best part of Made in Abyss

Ilija Milanovic

Now u have to watch movie 3 before s2 it continues right after this ep

A

This is why I begged in the comments every time to watch this series. Even after the 4th time I watch this series it makes me emotional. Now Dawn of the deep soul movie and then season 2. It gets better and better btw

Anuchek

Cant wait for the movie

0ptie

that is one way to put it

Minixsas

The series you wanted to say when you said you forgot 1 is Mushoku Tensei

Ivan Dukov

Guys, what do you think, how Nic will rank these series after movie and s2? As a mia fan, it's so pleasant to see him putting this anime along with his top 5, only after s1

Nathan

it was this episode that put this anime in that special category, the movie and s2 just continues everything that's good about the show as well, next is link click or steins gate i gotta chuck em in lol :)

Dean Koshakji

It'd be so hilarious if he started watching season 2 next week

James Perrott

No, he shouldnt watch a butchering of this perfect scene, actually

Rem Natsuki

Idk man imo the dub crying was better than the sub crying. I never watched the anime in dub but I get curious sometimes and check specific scenes for dub and I actually like them better than the sub sometimes. Kinda like Pain's line from Naruto when he fights the six tails, he says, "Ikuzo!" But the dub, "Let's go!" had more impact in the way he said it. Just saying bro, look it up if you wanna understand.

James Perrott

you thought the soundtrack for season 1 was this god tier (it is) but the soundtrack for the movie up next? Oh my god, its the greatest ost of all time for a single movie/sseason. An absolute masterclass of music. Kevin Penkin is inhuman its unreal

Omegateck16 .

What a Masterpiece. Now its time for the Movie:)

James Perrott

This is one of the greatest episodes in all of media. Absolutely flawless masterpiece. Mittys death and Nanachi crying is the saddest thing ive ever watched. I love Nanachi so much. She deserves the world... I wanna hug her forever

James Perrott

I am baffled at what 4 could possibly be above this for you

WrathInfused

Love crying to this one, not ready for the movie next week, soundtrack is too good. I have a figurine of Nanachi holding cursed Mitty in my place, don’t know why I torture myself as I see it every day and just get happy-depressed😂😭

SKAOG

6:16 the way Nick's face changed after hearing her name LMAO (and Nanachi's just a few seconds later)

Idris Naama

Well I didn't specifically say this episode is #5 but other episodes that I think can compete with it are the last 3 episodes from Season 2 and this is technically cheating but I count the movie itself as a long episode lmao.

Poragami

God, what would i get for a movie this week and next Tuesday the start of the second season

MadMax80LvL

Next movie "Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul" (2020)

Arnav Mekala

So has he said that he will start the movie next week?

Mufufu

Masterpiece

Will

Peak🔥

Sean

The movie sets a new high for the OST

RB01

Now imagine it didnt have the few wierd scenes... it would lose 0% of its magic and it could have been a mainstream masterpiece... and people could actually recommend it to their family and friends :D

karam jnah

we already did that with other anime and we got invaded by tourist that ruined everything, just gate keep the best stuff for ourselves

ilyas mateus

U need to watch the movie first nick

GranAutismo

Tomorrow is such an amazing OST song, huh.

samy__AK

Now you gotta watch movie 3 nick

Kecks

question, are you gonna watch the first movie after this next week? i heard its the order you *can* watch it in, though just wanting to know incase you decide to maybe skip it and continue with season 2 directly 😋

GOAT Watcherz ForLif3

No movie is a must watch its cannon it’s the same as mugen train you have to watch it to know the story otherwise he’d be way confused

SInChucrut

Nick to continue you need to watch the 3rd Movie "Dawn of the Deep Soul", the first two are just a summary of season 1. Get tissues ready because it's brutally tough.

Cody Moffatt

Nick, make sure to watch the 3rd movie Dawn of the Deep soul, the first 2 movies are recaps of season 1. Dawn of the Deep Soul first then Season 2

Thomas Rex

Yo, I thought the same thing. Reminded me of the Marshawn Lynch reaction (IFYKY) where you can see the second his soul leaves his body.

Cringe Killer

My one criticism of this show is that they could have toned down the dick references JUST A LITTLE

Christian Clark

thats a common complaint. the moments dont add the to experience, its simply a masterpiece despite them but thats not a good thing

tiggy zzz

nick you gotta watch the next child trauma anime after made in abyss, the promised neverland (DON’T WATCH S2 THOUGH)

Kecks

ah alright, so he'll watch it because otherwise he'd be confused, got it cause i didn't actually watch it myself and only with him reacting to it, i simply googled if there is an order where you can watch it so when i saw that right after this episode a movie came before the second season i was confused, thanks 🤞

Kecks

reacting to my comment is optional btw 🤞

Ivan Dukov

Lol true, s2 shouldn't have been born

GOAT Watcherz ForLif3

The author is a total pdf but he’s damn good at writing a intriguing story

GOAT Watcherz ForLif3

You’re good watch order is first Season then 3rd movie then second season other movies 1 and 2 are recaps

Cringe Killer

We were so goddamn lucky that the show was adapted by the best team imaginable, and that they actually TONED DOWN the weirdness of those scenes for the sake of making the show more palatable

tiggy zzz

the manga was so good as well, it was so disappointing when s2 of the anime came out

Kecks

definitely, one of the best anime's i've ever watched imo

Xan Acktor

10/10 Season. I wouldnt change a thing. Still makes me tear up.

tiggy zzz

there’s a difference between the stuff that we “did with other anime”, those were like, boobs and panty shots of people who looked like adults. these are little children its weird even for longtime anime watchers

A Deadly Dingus

My desire for dawn of the deep soul is irredeemable

Ares

I went from sad AF to histaricaly laughing when it buffered at incinerator part

JH L

I want to watch the video with subtitles before

GOAT Watcherz ForLif3

Hell yeah it’s amazing if you ever want some good recommendations lmk I’ve watched too many at this point

Dark Spark

so when is the movie?

Aidan Sidereas

It’s awesome you’re giving this show the love and respect it deserves I came to Patreon just to watch you see it I’m glad you liked it it’s my favorite anime

Ashamdon

Bondrewd's va is voicing minato from naruto, maybe thats who you heard

Sora

this would be such a 10/10 anime if only it didn't have all of the weird stuff with kids. plus the author is such a creep

Sora

@Desolane, I've been watching anime since 2006. this stuff has ALWAYS been weird. but I guess everyone's a "tourist" when they say scenes depicting children in weird ways is gross and weird...right buddy

Zeen The Wolf

Yeah same, this episode hurts to watch every time

M-A N

Between you and the author, I find you more creepy for continuing to watch a show where you find "sexualized children" more disgusting than torturing beyond comprehension those said children. I am curious, based on what criteria do you find sexualized children worse than torturing them?

Sovereign

Made in Abyss has the greatest soundtrack I've heard in any anime, only close contender is Attack on Titan. Kevin Penkin the goat.
