Yeah I dunno where people got the idea that this stuff is filler. It's a part of the light novels, though I think with those releases this story didn't come out until after Mother's Rosario

Because nothing that happens in this arc has any impact on the entirety of the plot whatsoever and it is the most boring arc in the anime. I still enjoyed that we get to see the party fight together but that's about it really. having to wait 2 weeks for Mother's Rosario cuz of this is 😴

It's still part of the canon of the story. If it were filler, that would mean the anime made it up as an in between. The author clearly felt it was something important to have in the novels. You can call it boring if you like, but it doesn't fit the definition of filler when it's part of the canon.

If a non filler arc is commonly recognized as "filler", then you know it's skippable. Also, i think this arc was a tad bit longer in the novel, so even the studio did not care enough for it.

It’s basically filler as they’re just in between arc episodes. I would be more vocal about it if it was more than 3 episodes but nick seem to enjoy it so it’s whatever

It's a nice chill few episodes before Mother Rosario now that's heartbreaking but needed for Asuna so just relax and enjoy.

It's true! What if we did that, instead of One Punch frame Man? xD I think it'd be cool if we could watch the Code Geass movies 1 & 2 for recap and then to watch R3 for the new content too, eventually. I loved the Code Geass reactions back in the day! I think after a refresh, Nick would love it!
